@Samir Freelance: I meant for you to login to JIRA in a browser and then paste the HTML/CSS into the textarea at:http://jira.yourdomain.com/secure/admin/EditAnnouncementBanner!default.jspa...then click "Set Banner". Hope this helps!
-
@Samir Freelance: Doesn't this work on your Jira 4.3.4? It does on mine.
-
@Jason Fried: Yes, filthy dirty, so remember to take a shower after doing this. Btw: I prefer the logo on the left.
-
Top left is really the best and most recognised place to put your logo/home page link, so reflect before making this change. Browse to... JIRA <tt>Administration | Options & Settings | Announcement Banner</tt> Append the following: <style> #header-top { text-align: center; } #logo { float: none; /* reset the float:left…

Maybe you could play with a little JavaScript. For example, this... <script> AJS.$('#secondary .content').children().appendTo('#primary .content'); AJS.$('#primary').css('width','100%'); </script> ...will append the content of the right hand column to the end of the left had column. To quickly try this out, you could…

You'll likely need to progress up some point releases on your path to 3.5. Good luck :)
-
@Nabil Sayegh try: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA051/Changing+Usernames+in+JIRA Or upgrade to JIRA 6 - JRA-1549 has been resolved ;)
-
Repeating this answer :) ... You could try the Confluence User Engagement plugin by AppFusions. It tracks: * Create, read, update and delete (CRUD) events are captured for all content types * Supported content types: Spaces, pages, blogposts, attachments, comments * For each event additional data is linking the content to…

The Google Analytics Reporting Plugin for Confluence can help with some of these points. Other parts may be rolled into the product in the future. Do you currently use web analytics? Which one? If so with a little customisation, your analytics software may support some or all of points 1-4

I've noticed this to be a little flakey for .mov & .mp4 files on some different browsers also.
-
Make your personal space public. Your profile picture will also become public. Check http://confluence.atlassian.com/ all those with a public personal space have a profile picture.

I can heartily recommend ignoring the documentation for this. Instead try using this approach: Changing Boilerplate Text in Confluence My apporach will better survive an upgrade and just feels like less of a hack.

Try nesting some more sections/columns e.g. {section} {column:width=70%} {panel:title=Latest News|borderStyle=solid|borderColor=#617833|titleBGColor=#00B7EB|bgColor=#FFFDD0} {blog-posts:5|content=titles|bgColor=#ACE1AF} {panel} {section} {column:width=50%} {panel:title=Getting…

I think you're being totally reasonable. It may be something to do with one of the plugins that's installed - Are you using Atlassian Navigation Links Plugin? Try opening a JIRA issue with Atlassian, or maybe @Joseph Clark [Atlassian] can help?
-
One way to prevent tracking is to add some code that tells Google not to track. For example this would stop Atlassian configured trackers provided that they are still using the UA-20272869 property id <script> // Disable any trackers that Atlassian may have added for (i=0; i < 50; i++) { window['ga-disable-UA-20272869-'+i]…

In Confluence Admin | Plugins, enable Safe mode and see whether it works then. If so, you've likely got a rogue plugin that is affecting the editor. Enable your plugins one by one until you've tracked down the offending one.
-
Likely you need to do this instead: {style} .ppp { /* the dot/period denotes a class selector */ text-align: center; color:#FF0000; font-size-adjust: 2; } {style} {span:class=ppp} Hello world{span}

The YouTube videos aren't up yet. In the meantime, try here:https://developer.atlassian.com/dosearchsite.action?queryString=Atlascamp&where=&searchButton=confluence&type=&lastModified=&contributor=&contributorUsername=

That's weird -- go into Confluence Admin | Plugins and check to see whether any System Plugins have become disabled.
-
This is very vague. Please be explicit in what you want. Maybe an annotated screenshot would help.

Check out the source of com.atlassian.confluence.pages.TinyUrl... Base64.encodeBase64(longToByteArray(id)); id is the pageId.

You might want to ask this question on another day of the year.
-
This should Be straightforward with a bit of JavaScript, or you could create a partial language pack to do the same job.
-
Alternatively, this might help:https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-20205Scrub that. And I can't delete this answer on iOS ;-(
-
You likely could with some custom coding, but why not simply enable the same LDAP as a user directory in JIRA instead. It's documentated and (even better) supported.
-
Try uninstalling the Essentials Pack, then installing Adaptavist's Plugin License Manager (PLM). Restart Confluence just to be on the safe side. When the PLM is installed and working reinstall the Essentials Pack. You may repeat the Confluence restart here if necessary.
-
You can't. Sorry. See also: https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/40897/adding-google-analytics-to-an-ondemand-confluence-instance Edit: You can now with... * Google Analytics in Confluence (Cloud) - free * Analytics for Confluence Cloud - paid

I personally favour watching the whole space. If the whole space isn't relevant, then maybe it needs be splitting into separate spaces :)
