Yes, Colin. I'm finding things a little slow.
-
Could you link through to the original post so that we get the context?
-
Thanks @Jeremy Largman. I guess I should have searched https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ANSWERS first :P

Create a wrapper that checks whether the user has access to the ABC application and then use that as the target for the iframe. Put all the logic in your wrapper and then get the wrapper to redirect to the appropriate URL.

For Confluence, try: 3.1.1 to 3.5.17 to 4.3.x
-
Each to their own I suppose :)
-
Finally they ditched the nasty IMPACT typeface. Almost anything bar Comic Sans would have been an improvement.
-
Sorry, I didn't quite get what you meant by native table insert. Likely that won't work :(
-
You could try doing it client-side :) Something like this: AJS.$('.confluenceTh > p,.confluenceTd > p').children().unwrap();
-
For a quick and nasty JavaScript hack, this will move the footer to the end of the page content ... Browse to Confluence Admin | Look & Feel | Custom HTML In At the end of the HEAD, paste: <script> AJS.toInit(function() { AJS.$('body.theme-documentation #theme-footer').after(AJS.$('#footer')); AJS.$('#splitter,…

It sounds like you'd want a custom plugin that uses an EventListener to listen for BlogPostCreateEvents and automatically adds the relevent labels. This plugin would allow you to specify default labels on a per space basis * Find out more about Event Listener Modules

Robert, check the recent Atlassian blogpost Measure Your Wiki’s Activity with Google Analytics for Confluence for the kind of reports you get. Also, there's a live demo of reporting for an external website here which has very similar reports.
-
At present, this is not possible for Confluence OnDemand customers. Sorry. * You can't install Google Analytics Reporting for Confluence. * You can't add the Google Analytics tracking code like so as OnDemand customers do not have access to: Administration | Look and Feel | Custom HTML For your on premise Confluence, you…

Do you have a rogue plugin that uses conveyor (or similar) to do a redirect on that action? If so uninstall it quick!
-
You could always write a small user macro to enable colours e.g. ## Usage: {color-me-in:color=limegreen;bgcolor=hotpink}Lime Green on Hot Pink is lovely{color-me-in}<span style="color:$paramcolor;background-color=$parambgcolor">$body</span>

Cool. Now that you're a world leader on upgrading AO in Confluence, perhaps you'd like to share your experiences in a blogpost :-)
-
There were some important changes to the underlying AO library at version 0.18.x Details here: https://developer.atlassian.com/display/AO/AO+0.18.x+Upgrade+Guide Note: Active Objects 0.18.4 is the first AO version in this series that you should use. Previous versions had bugs that will cause problems. There's no…

AppLinks. I'll be sure to check out the Summit videos first though.

If you're talking about Confluence and the comment to @Simon Tower's question is what you really want... Browse to Confluence Admin | Look & Feel | Custom HTML Paste the following into At the end of the HEAD: <style> AJS.toInit(function () { var $attachmentsForm = AJS.$('form#upload-attachments');…

...and thanks for this. I've had this problem.
-
@Darryl: You should mark this as correct :)
-
Check your Server Base Url in Confluence Admin | General Configuration for a trailing slash. If there's one present, remove it.
-
You'd need a custom plugin...Create an EventListener plugin that listens for space create events and checks on the isPersonalSpace() method (from memory), then updates the theme for the space. Here's the documentation for Event Listeners:http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/CONFDEV/Event+Listener+Module

This could be an alternative: https://plugins.atlassian.com/plugin/details/39713

All I'm saying here is to use the right tool for the right job. If Confluence can't handle it, open an issue with Atlassian, or look for workarounds - I've suggested one. Maybe theres a limit around 1400 lines because the line numbers are handled client side and your chosen browser borks at that point. I don't know.…
-
1400 lines is a lot. Maybe you could link to the file in your source control system. Failing that, I'm be tempted to put it in a gist and embed from github ;)
-
If you're doing this for an updated theme, why not just create a plugin -- it is surely a simpler workaround. Also, I'd say that it's bad practice to add your own files to the installation directory -- means that upgrade is slightly harder.
-
If this is a plugin, ensure that the file is found at resources/confluence/includes/test-include.txt within your plugin. You could also try #parse("/confluence/includes/test-include.txt") instead, but that's likely to fail too if you don't get the path correct. If you're doing stuff directly in the Confluence installation…

It would be pretty straightforward to embed Google Forms in Confluence. This shpuld work fine as a user macro. Likely there are other SaaS options too.

Hey @Kyle Crowley, This was copied wholesale from here: http://davidsimpson.me/2014/04/24/list-users-atlassian-confluence-user-macro/ The comments came through too.
