For Confluence, try something like: #com-atlassian-confluence h3 { border-bottom: 1px solid #ccc;} This gives a full page width underline. Update: For underlining just the text, try: #com-atlassian-confluence h3 { text-decoration: underline;}

You could try the Confluence User Engagement plugin which AppFusions recently released on Atlassian Marketplace. It tracks: * Create, read, update and delete (CRUD) events are captured for all content types * Supported content types: Spaces, pages, blogposts, attachments, comments * For each event additional data is…

The obvious solution (to me) would be to use a web analytics package such as Google Analytics to track these details. Unfortunately, free options that allow user tracking are few and far between. For example if you read section 7 of the Google Analytics terms of service, you'll see that this is not permitted. Commercial…

If the attachment is viewable on both pages, perhaps you could wrap the Excel Macro in an Except Macro on one page, then use the Except Include Macro on the other.

All spaces you have access to will shown on the dashboard (provided there aren't that many). Alternatively, you could point the home page at a space home page and edit that to display just what you want... * Browse to https://yourcompany.jira.com/wiki/admin/viewgeneralconfig.action * click edit * select the relevant space…

This is a favourite answer to a number of plugin related problems -- go to the plugin and check that all the modules are enabled. Plugin modules occasionally have a habit of disabling themselves. Note that for Confluence 4 plugins which are backward compatible with 3.x, the Confluence 4 specific modules will not be enabled…

Also, accidentally email e.g. dev-relations from the wrong emaill address and presto! You get a new JIRA account created. So a list of email addresses that map to support.a.c or jira.a.c or another would be dandy too!
-
You could try SpeakMyLanguage Translations for Atlassian JIRA.

Try something like this in the Announcement Banner: <script>// change these selectors if not specific enoughselectors = ['body','td','div','p','span','div.gadget'];// N.B. ensure that the document and iframes have fully loaded firstAJS.toInit(function(){ // fetch the iframes once only $iframes = AJS.$("iframe");…

If you want it for just one space, then try moving the labels div with some javascript... Browse to... Confluence Administration | Look & Feel | Custom HTML ...in At end of the BODY, paste this code: <script type="text/javascript"> AJS.toInit(function(){ if (AJS.params.spaceKey == "YOUR-SPACE-KEY"){ // add the specific…

I think you can only change it in... Space Administration | Look and Feel | Layout ...if you're using the default theme. Otherwise, you get a message like this: "You can not customise the site look and feel while a theme is active. You must first disable the currently configured theme." If that's no good, the a custom…

Ha! You got there first. Thanks for the vote :)

Browse to: Confluence Administration | Look & Feel | Layouts in the Content Layouts section, edit Page Layout. Move this line: #parse ("/labels/labels-editor.vm") ...below this line: #parse ("/decorators/includes/page-metadata.vm") That's it. If you're using a custom theme, then you'll need to edit the page.vmd file in…

Perhaps you could set up a cron job to call the Confluence CLI (part of Atlassian CLI). The Confluence CLI would have to * Export the page to PDF and save somewhere * Attach the generated PDF to the correct page @Bob Swift could likely give you an example :-)
-
This assumes you want the first name i.e. * Simon Hardy-Francis => simon * Joe Bloggs => joe

Create a user macro {first-word-in-display-name} containing this (with no spaces before or after): $action.remoteUser.displayName.toLowerCase().replaceAll("\s(.*)","") Then you can use: http://example.com/{user-first-name-to-lower-case}/foo</pre<>>
-
You'll want to move up through some of the point releases between 2.9 and 4.0 The Confluence 4 upgrade notes suggest that you upgrade to Confluence 3.5.x first. I would recommend reading all the release notes between 2.10 and 4.0.

Without direct access to the system, it's always difficult trying to debug by proxy. People like @Laura Kolker do the best that they can with the information that they have, but it's tricky. Installation X is likely to be very different to installation Y.

@Brian Bricham: Matthew's answer was almost right, but really it the JS needs wrapping in an AJS.toInit method... In Confluence Admin | Look & Feel | Custom HTML paste this into At the End of the BODY: <script> AJS.toInit(function(){ AJS.$('#add-menu-link-space li:first').remove(); });</script>

As a space admin in the FBPCB Designs Inc. space, browse to Space Admin | Permissions and add view permissions to the confluence-users group.

I believe that Theme builder now needs Adaptavist's Plugin License Manager to be installed first in order to work. (FYI: this should be a comment, but I'm on iOS, so can't due to a bug in Answers)

Perhaps replace 'jirauser'@'remoteservername' with 'jirauser'@'rcolnx89193.noam.corp.frk.com' Certainly change the string 'remoteservername' in your SQL statement to something more useful ;)
-
Yes, it will apply to all spaces. When pasting into Browse > Confluence Admin > Look and Feel - Custom HTML > Edit -- Make sure that you wrap the code above in some script tags like so: <script>// Disable any trackers that Atlassian may have addedfor (i=0; i < 50; i++) { // normally it's 14 for OnDemand, but let's use a…
-
This is correct. I use the same approach to remove other people's trackers e.g. // Disable any trackers that Atlassian may have added for (i=0; i < 50; i++) { // normally it's 14 for OnDemand, but let's use a hammer to kill any new ones too. window['ga-disable-UA-20272869-'+i] = true; }

Try creating a user macro called current-time like so: ## @noparams<span class="current-time">$action.dateFormatter.formatGivenString("dd-MMM-yyyy hh:mm:ss", $content.currentDate)</span> More details here: * https://docs.atlassian.com/atlassian-confluence/latest/com/atlassian/confluence/core/DateFormatter.html *…

You likely installed a Scroll plugin such as Scroll versions from k15t and then removed it. These plugins come as .obr files and package support plugins inside the main plugin. Lots of plugin vendors package their plugins as OBRs for easy deployment. Unfortunaelty, on uninstall of say Scroll Versions, the dependent plugins…

I would guess at... com.example.confluence.plugin.macroname.param.paramname.value.valuename.label=XXX So in your case, perhaps... com.example.confluence.plugin.macroname.param.draw.value.line.label=Lin com.example.confluence.plugin.macroname.param.draw.value.fill.label=Fill

@Diego Elos: If it helped, up-vote it or mark as answered. Thanks!

Check this: http://www.atlassian.com/en/about/events/atlascamp/2010/day2/making-confluence-macros-easy ..particularly slide 33 onwards

If you like it upvote/mark it as correct :-)Something very similar to the above should solve all your customization problems. I've not used Community Bubbles (Adaptavists forum customisation) for a little while, but it shouldn't be too hard to adapt the above JavaScript to your needs.
