Welcome to the Atlassian Community! No, nothing has changed, the accepted answer from 3 years ago is still accurate.

Your server needs to be able to reach the marketplace, for both apps and applications. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/upm/configuring-marketplace-connectivity-306350947.html

Are you using a browser that isolates cookies by session?

Hi Nicolas, The settings for your MySQL server can be found in the installation guide at https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/connecting-jira-applications-to-mysql-8-0-1018775461.html

You had not said you were using internal Crowd, so yes, there was not much I could tell you. It is the same answer though - one system flattens them properly, the other does not because it does not recognise sub-groups.
-
Ok, that suggests a broken index is a possibility. The next thing to do is re-index the project - as a project or jira admin, go to the project settings (for ICS0705) and find the re-index option. Let that complete and then re-run the three queries. If the numbers are now right, it was the index. If they are still 1085,…

If you are using crowd, you are using DC (or server, which is no longer supported, but effectively the same as DC). As I said, it is just flattening them as it reads them from your LDAP, it doesn't do sub-groups.
-
It already does. "None" means that the issue is not in an active or future sprint. So it is showing you the value of the sprint.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Yes, anyone who can log in to the system counts as an active user. Their permissions to see or use any part of the system is irrelevant, it is just "can log in". If your people in other departments need to log in to see your issues (even if they can't do anything else), they are counted…

Niether Confluence nor Jira used to recognise sub-groups, they just flattened them out during the sync (so if you had Group B as a sub-group of A, and a user in only group B, Jira would import Group A and Group B, and add the user to both groups and treat the memberships as totally independent) I don't think Confluence has…

I am sorry, but that is utterly wrong. There is data leakage if you can see bits of an issue that you should not be able to see. If I cannot see ABC-123, but I can read its summary, assignee and status if I look at an issue that is linked to it, then the summary, assignee and status have been leaked to me. There absolutely…

Hi, Not even Scriptrunner can do this - there is no way to hook into the delete link process, either on the back-end or by amending the UI (with behaviours) You could get close on a Server/DC install with Scriptrunner - "UI fragments" could be used to remove the delete option from the menu (but you could still do it via…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Any search or report that includes resolved issues.
-
There is no other "fix" for it - you need to have the "edit reporter" permission in the project the issue is in, and the reporter field needs to be on the screen.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! The sub-task status is independent of their parent, so they can move into different columns, you just need to move them. They can even have different workflows to their parent. What are you seeing with your sub-tasks? If they are automatically moving columns when their parent moves, then…

Matt is correct - issueFunction (and a lot of other functions) are only available if you have Scriptrunner or Enhanced Search installed (ES is part of the SR app, so if you have SR, you don't need EH)
-
I think https://scriptrunner-for-jira-cloud.nolt.io/6 is closest to "source control in SR"
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I am sorry, but no, there's no way to do this. The scripts are held as a free text field in the database, and as a one-off, with no version control on them. We do have an improvement somewhere about enabling version control of some sort (probably not much more than "save a copy every…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! A component is an attribute you put on an issue to say "this issue belongs to this part of the project". To create them, your project admins go into the settings and components, and define the list of components available. Your people will then be able to flag issues with components from…

I am not sure I understand what you are trying to do here. The whole point of placeholder text is that it is there to guide the author of a page fill in the right thing when creating or editing the page, and then not be seen when published.

No, ordering by a picked list personal to the human is not a standard engineering practice anywhere. I can not think of any use for ordering by a human's decision list outside what that human is opining (and when a human opines, we are frequently wrong) Again, could you tell us what use an ordering by a fixed list is for a…

Hi Santino, There's no way to do this, as Jira does not have field level permissions. You can do it as a blanket ban, meaning no-one can edit the summary in any status by removing it from the edit screen, but that's probably not what you are looking for. Even Behaviours in Scriptrunner can't help you on Cloud - Jira Cloud…

Ah, ok, that makes sense. I've never tried to amend cascading select lists' second half option list, so I am not sure what to tell you. But there is some code at https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Hide-options-in-cascade-select-field-Behaviour-Script-Runner/qaq-p/1142517 which says it does it.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I'm sorry, but that makes no sense. Of what use is a search ordered by an arbitrary list of issue keys? What problem would that solve? Or more importantly, what question would it answer? How would it help someone reading the results?
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! No, it's a known problem with MySQL. But fixable by configuring your MySQL to handle it correctly. At the time the original question was asked, Jira would work with MySQL installs that were not set up correctly (which, annoyingly, is still the default settings for a new MySQL install).…

Hi Mahdi, Where are you stuck on "adapting it for Cloud"?
-
The reason Ram is asking this is because the comparison may not be valid, depending on the field type. Some fields may show you "Yes" and "No" on screen, but the actual value (from triggerField.getValue().value ) may not be "Yes" or "No"
-
Ok, but why don't you just remove the options you don't want from the second half of the field's list?
-
The screenshot you've given us shows a filter returning 35 results, but three of them have values that are not 0 in them, which suggests that the gadget is working fine. I think we need to go back to the basics and look at exactly what the underlying filters are doing. Could you give us the text of the filter that the…

There is no correction to make here. The language is obviously unclear to you, but the vast majority of Atlassian admins I've worked with have had no problem understanding it.
