Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Jira has two types of projects - Company-managed and Team-managed. Administrators of Team-managed projects can amend everything in them, but Company-managed projects are controlled by Jira admins, not project admins. CMPs use a set of shared schemes, as you mention, for configuration,…

Yes, they need to ask their Jira admins. And their Confluence admins, but we usually find that they are the same team as the Jira admins...

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I think you are in the wrong place, your question seems to be about access to your organisation's Jira, which we can not help you with. We're a community of people here to talk Atlassian stuff, we have less access to, or knowledge of, the system you're asking about than you do! Your…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! This is not the best of designs for a Jira process. Moving an issue should only be done for housekeeping or "genuinely just raised it in the wrong place" cases. Moving an issue is a horrid thing to try to do in Jira because it is structural. You have already explained it yourself in the…

It won't help you with the purpose either, unless the creator of the dashboard has explained it. Rather than get stuck into coding something to get some data over the API, I would go back to your executives and ask them why they think they want this. What would it tell them? What question are they trying to answer?
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! The answer to that is dependent on where you are writing them. If they are being added to fields on Jira issues, then you can look at the history of the issue to see who updated the fields (if no changes, then it was the person who created the issue!). Some people do acceptance criteria…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! No, it would not be a burnup chart if you could, because you only burn when something is done. You could map the test column status into the done column though, that would give you the correct chart.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! What's happening here is that you are creating two workflows. It's nothing to do with the browser. Your actions are summarised by: * You have a workflow called workflow-1 * You create a draft change to it (workflow-1-draft) * You then copy workflow-1 to workflow-2 * Then you save the…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You can do this - your assumption about the saved filter selecting a single project is wrong. You need to create a board in a Company-managed project, against a saved filter that includes all your projects. Switch the filter into "advanced" and use a JQL clause like: Project in (ABC,…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You have not given us any pictures I'm afraid.

Where in the workflow are you setting the resolution? If it is in this transition's screen, then you can't do this. The screen has no way of knowing that someone is going to set the issue to fixed. You could put a validator on it to check, but as that would stop the users setting any other resolution, it will break your…

No, select lists are made of options. You can get the name of an option with issue.getCustomFieldValue(customField).getName() Seems odd to me to want to link an issue to another one by using a select list, when the issue link function already does it.

Correct. I usually think of it as "what hat am I wearing". Wehn I'm wearing my customer hat I work in the portal. When I'm wearing an Agent hat, I work with the issues behind the requests the customers make. When I'm wearing my developer hat, I'm helping out an agent, not a customer. My account may own both a customer and…

Hi Pavan, There's all sorts of things you need to look at when you have a performance issue. First, you need to identify what "slow" is - page load? Transitions? Edits? Boards? Admin activity? You'll need to broadly quantify and identify it to be able to look at each one - things like "we got the post-transition view in 2…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! What is Jiraps? Have you upgraded it to match your Jira version?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! There's no way to do this - not getting back in, but setting Trello in the way you describe. Trello uses Atlassian accounts for access, and these have unique emails. Your account with "workspace member" is not the same account as your "Guest" one - it has a different email address on it.…

You'll need to go to admin -> manage apps. If your Confluence is so broken that it can not do that, then your next step is to try starting Confluence without the apps loaded. If it is Confiforms causing the problem, then this will enable you to get into the admin screens and get an updated version, although you'll need to…

Only agents can make comments that go back to the customer. It's the agent who is supposed to be talking to the customers, not non-agents that have been asked to help the agent out. You'll find that non-agents can not log work, transition issues, assign issues, and a few more things they can do in non JSM projects.

It is strongly recommended that you update the licence before upgrade. You will need to upgrade the licences for all of your apps as well.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! This suggests that your customField may be a select list, although I would expect that to return an object of type "option", not just "object". Getting an "object" suggests that it is a custom field of a non-native type, not a standard Jira issue field. If that is the case, you'll need…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! All you need to do is add the field to the screen the transition has set on it. (I am assuming you have already created the custom field). If the transition does not have a screen, you will need to add one to it - I recommend creating a new screen and adding your web link field to it, so…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! The work ratio is not a standard field, it's a calculated one, for display only. A user would not enter anything into it, so it's not needed on the issue screen. So yes, it's normal!

Hi Caitlin, This suggests that you have got a workflow where someone has added duplicate transitions to it. The most likely scenario is that they were trying to add a specific transition because it needed to be controlled, or only come from a couple of places, but they have not removed the "all status can go to this…

I'm quite fond of puzzles, as you say, I like to challenge my brain sometimes. More so since my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's - one of the few things we know that can slow the progress is remaining mentally active, playing puzzles and games. I'm reading this after returning from one of my gaming groups. We do…

Hi Swopna, As it says in your screenshot, you will need to contact customer support. Go to https://support.atlassian.com It is probably best to raise a billing question with them. The more technical questions are likely to land you back here in the Community, where we cannot help.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! How did you do the upgrade? Do all the directories (the home directory and the installation directory) still have the right ownership throughout (they should belong to the account that is running Confluence) Is your Confluence being run on the right version of Java? Have you upgraded all…
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Confluence does not work like that, you (or someone that has delete access to your spaces) would have had to have deleted the pages before they can create a new one with the same name. You will need to log in with your old account to see what has happened, and, assuming you are the…

What do you mean by SPK? Issue type? (I know it to be the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation) If you do mean issue type, then all you should need to do is add the field to the screens used for the issue type in that project.
-
Why? What problem would this solve? Technically, you could force it - create 999,999 issues in the project, and the next one will be JSM-1000000. But I can't think of any reason to spend the days it would take to do that.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Queues are not containers for issues, like boards, they are a selection of issues. To make an issue "move" between a queue, you have to put data on it that makes it stop being selected by the current queue, and starts it being selected by another. Probably the most simple way to do this…
