Hi Sari, No, an upgrade, or even app install, will not add priorities to your system. I'm afraid one of your co-admins added the new priorities. You will need to ask the rest of your admin team who did it and why.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! This type of message is not really an error, it's a fault code that enable Atlassian to group together all the times it is happening, across many Cloud systems. The code does not point to a specific error. Best thing to do is report this (exactly has you have here) to Atlassian at…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! If the email has come from an Atlassian Cloud service, then it will have an email address ending .atlassian.net The quickest way to get these malicious services shut down is to forward the email, unedited, to https://www.atlassian.com/trust/report-abuse - the abuse team does not need any…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Yes. You could build your own systems with a bit of scripting or automation, but I would strongly recommend that you look for one of the apps that has been built to do this. Have a look in the marketplace for "sync". I will, of course, recommend Scriptrunner-connect for doing a more…

Hi, There is no way to do this, not without complex and clumsy automations or scripts. You would need to write something that can pick up "number field entered/changed", run a search to see if it has been used already, and then delete the value from the issue, or block the current transistion. Both of those options are…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You will need to exclude it from MFA (assuming it is an Exchange email inbox) - there's no way a service account can log in without doing MFA, and there's no sane way to give a service account the factors it needs to do MFA.
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Do you really mean in Fisheye, or are you linking your work to Jira? If the issues are in Jira, then you should be able to add a condition to the transition, one that blocks the reporter from the transition.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Have you applied any quick-filters to the board? Could someone have removed the story and sub-tasks from the project?

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Which particular view are you using? Is it the issue navigator?

On the adult scheduling, only one of us has a child getting in the way of scheduling, and we solved that problem by making him a Ranger. I didn't play D&D for a long time, I'm not sure how the rules evolved between "Advanced" and "5e", but the Baldur's gate series all did things like "Only humans can be paladins" and it…

Yes, that's a Sharepoint problem, we can't help you with it, we're an Atlassian community.

Hi Mayur, Cloud and DC are very different pieces of software, and although Scriptrunner for Jira only has one name, it is also two very different things. DC code will generally not work on Cloud, the language and structures are very different. You don't need to use componentAccessor on Cloud (you generally don't need it on…

It is not, the question is for Cloud, not DC

If there is nothing in Catalina.out, then Tomcat isn't able to start at all, and you'll need to look at the reason it is failing by reading what the startup script is putting on screen. You'll need to drop out to a command line and run "start-jira.bat". It will tell you on-screen why Tomcat can not start.

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I do not see that behaviour on a people field, setting the "restrict" field means that I can only select one person in the field. The only thing I can think of is that you did not save the change when you edited the field and selected the flag (I've just done exactly that when testing!)…

In real life, we're playing the latest version, and we recently moved online to https://eu.forge-vtt.com/ because it's a pain getting everyone together in one place (one player moved into the house next to mine, one player is 10 minutes walk, but the DM is in a satellite village, 20 minutes bike ride away, and two more are…

Did you re-index after adding the searcher?
-
No, this makes no sense. An issue that is not done cannot be seen as done. How are you going to explain "done, but not" to your people?
-
Oh yes, absolutely. You're definitely DC and won't have any problems next Thursday!
-
Ok, but which one? Could you give us a link to the marketplace entry?

I think it's good to show bugs in JPD, but not manage them directly in it unless it's really easy (which it rarely is) As @Karie Price says, there's a balance on level of detail. I want to see and plan bug fixing in JPD, so that everyone can see what is happening and can plan properly, but the detail of the bug should be a…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! What "integration" are you trying to use?
-
Welcome to the Atlassian Community! You can see this in the licence screen or the system information page. Both will tell you about the licence, but the fact you have clustering and "enable cluster mode" is actually enough already. You would not see them if it were a server licence. The server doesn't really care how many…

You're not a pain at all! I only find people a pain when they don't bother to read the answers and ask follow-up questions that they don't need to. Jira is not something I describe as easy to administrate, especially when you've inherited a bit of a mess, so I'm very happy that you're asking more questions when you're not…

Welcome to the Atlassian Community! JSM currently only works with Confluence as a knowledge-base. You can not connect it to Sharepoint (it's unlikely that this will ever be an option to be honest)
-
Hi Eduard, Behaviours can only manipulate the front-end of the system, it does not allow you to stop sending mail to someone based on what is entered on the screen.
-
Server licences are perpetual. The only change you might notice is that your admins will sometimes be warned that you are no longer licenced! Which won't get in the way of your usage.
-
Hi Mohammed, Jira does not fire events for administrative actions, so there's nothing that Scriptrunner can react to.
-
You should never write anything to a Jira database. Please don't do that, you will break it.
