Please do, @Suvradip Paul !

Those are great additions, @Svenja Lorenzen !

Nice article, @Hana Kučerová !
-
Absolutely, @Hana Kučerová !
-
I wonder this, too, @Hana Kučerová . Maybe it's partly a "This is the way we've always done it." mentality?
-
A little change is always good!
-
You bet, @nina_schmidt !
-
Great points, @Kevin Tuei
-
That was a great one! Thanks for sharing and writing about your experience, Nina!
-
What a great icebreaker! Thanks so much for sharing, Nina. I'm keeping this idea in my back pocket 🙂
-
I totally agree!
-
Always a good one, @Kristin Lyons !

I love guessing games, @Martina Banev! A fun one that I've done recently was a handwriting guessing game. Each team member wrote the same phrase on piece of paper, then we each took a photo of our papers and added them all to a Confluence page. We then went around guessing whose writing was whose. It was especially…

Great timing, @Huwen Arnone _Deiser_Devoteam_ ! 😉
-
Oh I totally agree with you, @Huwen Arnone _Deiser_Devoteam_ ! I don't think I'd be up for a dancing or singing Icebreaker either!
-
Me too, @Martin Keane ! It's definitely a fun one.
-
@Martin Keane Ahh just knowing you have the freedom to do that must feel amazing. Sounds like a great policy and I'm glad to hear it's helping you and your team!
-
What's an example of a one-word icebreaker you recently used or loved, @G subramanyam ? I agree. Those are great!
-
This is a great tip, @Colum McAndrew. Thank you for sharing!
-
Thank you for sharing your insights and experience with us, @Alex Koxaras -Relational-. You make great points. Sorry to hear about your requests to your manager being denied or forgotten but kudos to you for speaking up! I'm sure your feedback ended up helping your former colleagues.
-
"the agreement made on how to use them has been the most important thing." game changer right there! It's so important to come to an agreement on communication rules. Kudos to your team for doing that, @Fabricio Carvalho! Reminds me of an awesome article on our Work Life blog!

It's sooooo easy for Standup meetings to morph into something that feels more like a status meeting, @Shrikant Wagh. Perhaps a way to frame them up with your team is to make the purpose of Standup meetings more clear: Standups should feel more like collaborative planning than providing updates on the progress of assigned…

Nice, Jay! Your descriptions of each role and their participation/use of the page here look perfect. And yes! We do have a Confluence (and Trello!) Template for DACI. I hadn't thought about transitioning this Play to a Jira use case but your model above looks great.

For sure, @Marshall Walker Lee . Processes and rituals can be "broken" (and for quite a while!) without us even realizing they have problems. Carving out regular time to really take a close look at them will help us make sure we're using the time we have set aside for these in the most effective way.
-
Sounds like you've got a great process going, @Bill Sheboy !
-
That'll definitely be a great time to reevaluate!
-
@DPKJ if you haven't already, starting with a Health Monitor will be a great way to kick things off. It will shine some light on what your team is doing well, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
-
It absolutely could be, @Alex Koxaras -Relational-! My team is planning to take a few minutes durning our weekly team meeting each week to have one person go over their User Manual with the rest of the team. It'll be a great way to learn even more about each other.
-
7 hours per day is a. lot! Great idea, @DPKJ! How has it been going with the Confluence pages?
