Glad to hear it, Sanjog! Hope the Play goes well with your team!

@Marjorie, another big one for me has been not eating lunch at my desk! I'm always flexible on timing for my lunch breaks since the people I work with span several timezones, and sometimes, noon meetings just need to happen, but making sure to get away from my computer while having lunch has been another really nice brain…

@Marjorie setting better work/life boundaries has been a work in progress for me, too, since I went full-time remote at the end of 2015. I agree — we learn so much about ourselves in the process! The separate, dedicated office space has been a game-changer for me as well!

@Andy Gladstone, that is awesome! It's inspiring to hear how the curve of learning something completely new ended up leaving you feeling so confident. Thank you for sharing this!
-
That's awesome! I love your manager's mindset. Ooooh, thanks for that book list! I've been meaning to check out Crucial Conversations but haven't heard of the other two! I'm a huge fan of personal development and self-improvement books.

Thanks for sharing your story, Summer!

Loved hearing about your path, Amanda! Sounds like your current job really keeps you on your toes! What a great learning experience.
-
So many twists and turns and pivots here, Andy! Thank you for sharing your journey! I often think about your last sentence — so many parts of our lives can be seemingly unrelated from an outsider's POV, but the threads that bring everything together are usually pretty interesting!
-
You are incredible, Collista! What an inspiring story. I'm so happy to hear that all of your hard work and perseverance paid off (and brought you here!). Thank you for sharing!

I'm dying, Dave! 😂

It's always so great to hear about passion projects + work projects crossing paths. I hadn't thought about it this way before, but I love the thought of Community being a professional "outlet" that allows us to express ourselves and show up in different ways than we typically do during our day-to-day jobs. Thanks for…

Thanks for sharing, Dave! It's been so interesting to hear all of these stories.

Loved hearing about the lessons you learned while tackling your newspaper route. I can absolutely see how it would have helped teach you to plan ahead and create operational efficiencies — who would've thought?! And oof, while not quite as pleasant of a story, thanks for sharing about how you learned what NOT to do during…

What a journey, Vikrant! It sounds like you were meant to be in these super helpful and supportive roles. I can't imagine how many people you've helped over the years!

"Don't worry about what you think you should get out of a job and search for a job that provides you with the things that truly make you happy." I couldn't love this advice more, Elizabeth! Thank you for sharing your first job story! Sounds like such a wonderful childhood memory. ❤️
-
Working in any type of support role gives us so much valuable experience - especially at a young age! Haha! Gotta love and appreciate all of those laughable moments, too!
-
Isn't it funny to look back and realize how much (outside of the actual job duties themselves) we actually learned during those first work experiences? How to simply conduct ourselves in the workplace is such a big one! I know my early jobs also taught me a lot about how and how not to act. Thank you for sharing, Summer!
-
Thank you for sharing, Nic! You've had a really great range of experiences from a retail job, to counseling, to tech.
-
That store owner sure sounds like a character! What a great idea to have learned so early on in your career. I absolutely, agree, Andrés -- a happy and synched team makes all the difference in the world.
-
You must also have a lot of patience, Dave! 😉 Thank you for sharing!
-
I know what you mean, Dave! We have such a fantastic Community. Thanks for all of the help and answers you provide - we're glad you're here!
-
What an amazing series of events, John! I love hearing stories like this. Thanks for being here and for helping so many of our Community members with their questions!
-
We love to hear it, @Benjamin! Reading and learning about others' first-hand product use cases and questions and being able to converse with them can be so much more beneficial than combing through documentation and knowledge-base articles. Thank you for being here and helping others with your knowledge along the way. 💙
