Hi @David Stokes , I don't know if it helps in Cloud, as my implementation of this is in Server. I assume though that with a bit of tinkering you could sort it out. For my implementation I have used ScriptRunner for Jira. I've also used guidelines from this article. My use case is this: * User creates a new issue (fills in…

Hi, The manager is a default attribute in AD. How do you configure multiple managers? Do you use extension attributes? My guess is that you would need some kind of logic in Jira to select the appropriate manager. Cheers
-
Hi @Chethan GR , We actually use an add-on: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212162/active-directory-attributes-sync This solves all our problems/requirements from AD. We fetch the managers and/or other users details. Also extension attributes, when containing usernames. Br

I'm not familiar with OKTA, but in theory it should have an API accessible. From there you need to query the manager attribute. In AD it's a default one.

for (String error: errorCollection){ log.debug("inside error collection" +error) UserMessageUtil.error("Error : ") } if this code is being executed twice, then you have 2 items in the collection. Simply concat them and run the UserMessageUtil after the for loop closes.
-
I guess there are two entries in Error Collection?
-
Are you sure both projects are using the same Field Configuration Scheme and not just screens?
-
Maybe a behaviour for a text field? Something like this: https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/4.3.5/jira/behaviours-conversions.html but for project roles.

Great initiative :)

Hi @Abhishree Nagesh, linkTypeName - this is the link type name (example : Relates, Request, Duplicate) etc linkType - defines if the link is initiated from the actual issue (outward) or if some other issue is linking to the current issue (inward). this you can just try with your linked issue :)
-
There might by typos, but I think this does the trick. Script below checks all linked issues (careful to specify link type and inward/outward) and checks if any of the linked issue has a status not equal to Closed , it returns false import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor import com.atlassian.jira.issue.Issue…

Doesn't make sense whatsoever. Who was the customer that said "Yes I like this" ??
-
@Marat Kiniabulatovwell for what's worth, the solution is "Jira-ish" enough for me :). Keep up the posting in the Community. Looking forward to it!

It's a nice idea, but in an active instance this would have to be scheduled as maintenance period, to avoid missing any other notifications. I always use a similar sub-filter as already mentioned by @Matt Doar, which is also why I was not particularly excited about the new feature that "cleans up" your backlog (Hide…

Congratulations!

Wonderful :)

@Dan Hellings Were you able to solve this?

Happy Holidays!

Well it's not that I can't/don't learn in other ways, but definitely my vote goes for visual learning. Feels much more natural as a process seeing and hearing something in action. Maybe it's about the senses involved. More senses > Faster learning :)

Are you using the username or display name of the user? Usernames don't have spaces

Take a look at the script. I think this gets the job done for you. In case you want to further process the issues, you can use the optional loop import com.atlassian.jira.component.ComponentAccessor import com.atlassian.jira.issue.search.SearchProvider import com.atlassian.jira.jql.parser.JqlQueryParser import…

Glad to help

Hi @Nico Hoffmann, We upgraded our instance and also insight version lately. Had to do some changes in some script regarding the return format now is [~4838121(78390)] where it was prior only [~78390]. Either way this is still working for me. Can you check again with this script import…

The method I use to get the action id is import com.opensymphony.workflow.loader.ActionDescriptor import com.atlassian.jira.workflow.WorkflowTransitionUtil import com.atlassian.jira.workflow.WorkflowTransitionUtilImpl import com.atlassian.jira.workflow.IssueWorkflowManager ... WorkflowTransitionUtil workflowTransitionUtil…

Maybe you could provide some more details and share some of your usecases. I remember back in the day, like 2-3 years ago using a JIRA connector in PowerBI and it was nice. But at the end went for something custom. Stock reports do their job for basic requirement. I agree that some of us have pretty complicated views and…

Also waiting

Leave the 1st transition as IS, condition "requiring approval"(not sure what your implementation regarding that is) 2nd transition will have a script condition "Checks the issue has been in a status previously". Here you can select your target status as condition. This because issue has already been there with the 1st…
-
You know, you could also use 2 different transitions, the 2nd having a condition that it was previously in X status. The 1st one can stay as the original.

Do you have any addons that can provide some custom/extended JQL functions. Example might be Script Runner with it's issueFunction "library"
