A couple of ideas: * Based on the JQL I see, you may simply need to use the URL Friendly version shown in your browser instead of the text with spaces in the JQL String * Have you tried running your search URL/endpoint from a browser (e.g. Chrome)? * have you tried running a "myself" endpoint just to be sure your API Token…

How about a partial answer :-). This Jira Cloud App for MS Teams is free and works well: https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/office/WA200002140?tab=Overview If you don't have this in place, I'd start there and you probably wouldn't need to do anything else. An Automation update or comment on a ticket you care…

There are a couple of ideas here that ultimately result at you looking at automation. * At one client, when an Epic is established we use a checkbox field to decide what types of stories will be needed. * We also have a few key fields for data to use in the story creation * When the Epic is place and the decisions have…

If you have a premium license and access to Jira Advanced Roadmaps, grab your favorite filter, go to your plans tab, create a plan with a groups by assignee.

Is it me? I can't read see the drawing -- it is too light

At a glance - separate the concept of being done from the "after the fact review". * go ahead and mark everything complete * create a new story or task called in your current sprint called "Sprint Review" (or similar) for the items in the previous sprint. * If you have to reopen anything to be re-worked, track the story…

This is purely speculative but it is where I would start >>> If the AI fields are being added to your ticket at the same time your automation is running, you may be encountering a problem where the Issue hasn't been saved with the fields yet. Therefore Automation may not be able to see them. It's similar to the concept of…

Automation. Create a checkbox field on the epic screen indicating all the tasks you need for this new hire. When the Epic is created, use automation to examine the checkbox field creating all the tasks needed based on your selection. An additional time saver -- set up a custom fields (perhaps the desk location of the new…

Ah.. you may be searching for a stray comma or other value that is getting your CSV fields adjusted by accident. You may be able to change the order of the fields in the CSV. please take note too -- when you try to fix stuff like this in Excel, I've seen it display one thing to me (like a date format) but actually masking…

If you are dealing with a relatively small universe of users, I recommend using the "Map Field Values" Checkbox to convert "Bad Input" to "Valid User". Sure -- it's a little scary having to use any workarounds.... but it is probably the fastest path. Test a couple of records before going "all in" on every issue

one possible issue came to mind after my answer -- if you clone the Confluence Page and it still has the Filter Results widget, it will continue to display the current results no matter when the page was generated. I think the way to resolve this is look to automation for the creation of a PDF from your confluence status.…

I don't totally follow -- but in Jira, Confluence, or my my favorite Power BI - can you have a field that concatenates a Filter URL with your Epic Key? For example - if I had a filter of issue that needed estimates, your filter is this: Status = planning and parent = LLWB-4 and your URL string is this:…

I love this -- so have a dedicated "Audit" label field that either carries audit issues or carries some list of audits passed. (for example -- you can't close ticket as done unless time has been reported. Your audit label field could contain a short label "NoTimeReported". It may be a little cryptic -- but it would let you…

So many opportunities :-) ... What if your script runner set a flag (or label) that indicated all the criteria for a transition were complete? Each time the ticket is updated, your scriptrunner would evaluate the ticket. That could be set up with automation. Once all the dependencies have been satisfied, the scriptrunner…

Trudy is correct. By adding a conditional ( I recommend based on roles), you can offer a different set of transitions to your users.

Hello. Yes :-) You can use a filter subscription to get a list of issues on a schedule. In so far as saving in confluence ... * I know you can display filter results as a widget on a confluence page * I assume you can use Confluence Automation to create a copy of that page as a weekly archive though I have not done it…

I'm not totally following the specifics and previous answer, but you can add tabs to a screen and use that to group related fields. I added these two tabs as an illustration

resolution is empty and "planned end date" <= -5d

is the question how to get a copy of a support ticket out of JSM/JIRA? Do any of these work for you?: * paste a link in your internal system * Print From your Browser * screen shot * rest api call from your browser -- would look like this URL. The output is JSON, but of the four items here this may be the only way to get…

I do not know about the add-in, but I recommend you use the REST API and power query. I don't think I can attach the Excel file I use -- if you'd like it, leave a comment with your contact info and I can email it to you or I'll put it my website for you to go get (free of course). All you should need to change is a few…

I do a lot of API work but not with that specific function (I report on worklogs a lot). According to google, HTTP status code 413 means "Request Entity Too Large," indicating that the server cannot process a request because the data sent (payload) is larger than the server's allowed limit; essentially, the request is too…

I don't follow the issue completely -- but run this rest call in your browser (your URL and key of course) https://splitdimedata.atlassian.net/rest/api/2/issue/CSP1-11 Then look at the JSON and see if one date looks different than the rest. When you get your Power BI Connector feed, you should be able to see if what may be…

Sorry for any confusion -- the steps I shared are in power bi once the data has been pulled. Essentially through the API or connector, you get a table of data that may not be formatted to your taste (as in the case of the date fields). You use Power Query (in Power BI) to format those fields before adding them to a…

I have tons of data flowing into power bi from the APIs so I don't know what manipulation the plugin may do... but in my case when I am processing any record, I have to TRANSFORM the date fields in power query in 2 steps (1 to DateTimeTimezone. 2. Date/time). and a 3rd time to get to date. Hope this helps
-
REST API... You can plug any of these into your browser to see the resulting JSON Get a Single Issue Execute JQL And when your ready, you can add those to Power BI or Excel through Power Query. I run this kind of stuff for client reporting every day :-) And the API layer is free from Atlassian

I'm not sure how else to respond to the question -- but i was asked about timeframe. If you click the link, it take you straight to the marketplace which shows the same numbers (e.g. install count). I can't swear to what the number means. But I do have some historic data laying around -- if time permitted, I could…

Oh - make sure you have enabled smartlinks for your space.. the report is not IN a page though it appears that way.

So what I am linking to is a Power BI Report I published to the Web. This is a tad risky given there is no security in this situation. That said -- the next "phase" of this process would be to figure out accessing secure reports. In the meantime -- it goes like this: * From a Power BI Report you have at PowerBI . com,…

I'm somewhat new to Jira Automation, but a generic approach you may want to apply is this: * Every ticket has the labels field. So however you identify the tickets in your JQL as needing your automation, use that logic to add a label to the ticket (e.g. "Automation_X_Needed"). * Run your automation as is against the JQL…

Good morning. I apologize I was reading your post and decided to click on your link. I it looks like I may have requested access which isn't my intent. I was frankly stunned that I got a message saying my domain (splitdimedata.com) was approved for access. I never got past this screen: I will say, your portals look very…
