@Priya Jira doesn't have provisioning for special account for Rest API's. You will need to create a normal user account and need to provide required privileges (project access etc) to it and generate API token.

@Philipp KayserIt looks like you have not removed "jira-administrators" group from the service desk application. Now you have 1 user in "jira-administrators" group and 2 users in "jira-servicedesk-users" group, which add up to 3. You can remove "jira-administrators" group by clicking on "Remove" link in the end of its row.…

@Sonuto write custom plugin you will need hands on experiance with, * Java * Maven - Java dependency management system * Atlassian SDK - https://developer.atlassian.com/server/framework/atlassian-sdk/ You need to find some developer to do this for you. And to install plugin like any other plugin in confluence you will need…

There are various guides provided for this. You bind scripts to workflow stages also, for example see this question - https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Groovy-to-create-issues/qaq-p/818025

This has two parts, One, Jira provide wonderful CSV import functionality in admin section, you can use that, it will prevent you from lots of hassle. Two, if you want to import it via script/terminal rather then using just curl use any scripting language, like node, python etc. Here is node sample that I used few months…

Best way is to write a custom confluence plugin. Required part for plugin * Creating a button/menu item in confluence page * You can learn this here - https://developer.atlassian.com/server/confluence/adding-menu-items-to-confluence Once you add this button, you have two options * Call your SOAP endpoint directly from…

Atlassian doesn't provide such demo instances. Best way to try out is install confluence on VM or on your machine and install Questions plugin.
-
@anthonyI got it, I am using classic project. This is indeed an issue with Next-Gen project. I must say Atlassian is doing really bad in Nex-Gen project and New UI.
-
@david_gianonattithis seems very like a big issue. I suggest you follow this guide - https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/connecting-jira-applications-to-mysql-5-7-966063305.html And try to setup new Jira is any VM or other machine to verify where the problem is exactly. You can also connect with Atlassian…

@Jan StähleWhat do you get after clicking on this this icon that I have highlighted.
-
Have you restarted Jira after this? And also Have you checked this - https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/resources.html
-
Try to refresh your page, these options are visible to me.

@haiyanerJira doesn't ship with MySQL Driver by default. You will need to add it manually to <installation>/lib directory and restart Jira server, before you can create connection using ScriptRunner. In case you are using MySQL for your Jira itself, try to import everything explicitly. Like in this example, import…

You can create a single select custom field, names Severity and options to it. This explains how to add custom field to Jira issue - https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/adding-a-custom-field-938847222.html

@Paula Cristina VazYou are welcome, I am sorry that I wasn't able to figure out that in first place. I am using and developing for both server and cloud versions, so many a times I get confused with APIs.
-
As per API documentation, these are the reason for 404 response, * The requested content is not found. * The user does not have permission to view it * The attachment exceeds the maximum configured attachment size. Have you checked all these? Try this, as you are using confluence api, we need to context path 'wiki' also.…

No there is no rest API provided for this. Once sprint is closed you can not update it via rest api.
-
Hopefully you have got this information in my previous answer. You will need "ScriptRunner" to run and execute Groovy Scripts in Jira Software.
-
@haiyanerTo use Groovy Scripts in Jira you will need plugin called`ScriptRunner` - https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/6820/scriptrunner-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview ScriptRunner provide you with recipes to connect with external database and use its data in Jira -…

Click on `Fetch` button in source tree toolbar. This will explicitly fetch list of remote branches.
-
Here is reference to the rest api - https://docs.atlassian.com/bitbucket-server/rest/6.6.0/bitbucket-rest.html#idp380 If you can call this rest api using admin credentials, and get list of users in Bitbucket. Sample using curl, curl -u <USER_NAME>:<PASSWORD> <BITBUCKET_BASE_URL>/rest/api/1.0/users

There 2-3 parts to your question, * What connection type Jira uses?* Jira being a Java application uses JDBC database connections * It doesn't require any plugin, it is integrated in Jira itself. * For MySQL and Oracle, you need to prove JDBC connection library during installation (because of license restrictions by…

I am afraid it is not possible via JQL. Only I see to solve this is using history/activity log for issue. You can write custom plugin for this.
-
Oh! I think it was possible in old view as per this issue - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-5397 Have a look.
-
It just shows old reference number in history, and it is not possible to show this number prominently. You can achieve some success with tools like ScriptRunner, where you can create a custom-field and populate its value with old issue number using post script.
-
@Sanjay Kingerhave your tried accessing these rest api by any other means, * Atlassian Rest API Browser(only available for server) or * PostMan, or any other browser tool As this will help us identify the problem is with Python Library or Jira itself.
-
It can be some permission issue, but try this url it might help https://<SITE>.atlassian.net/plugins/servlet/project-config/<PROJECT_KEY>/notifications If this page doesn't open or shows issues related to permission ask your admin to provide you rights.

Are any courses for developers also available? Like Atlassian development Master.
