@hafsa hsinacloud is very easy to get started, no installation process, just registration. But, if you want to use Server version in future, I don't think evaluating cloud is right choice, * as they both are different products, * have different ui * have different feature set * plugin are very much different.

You need to do something like this, <span>comments </span><span>=</span><span> issue</span><span>.</span><span>fields</span><span>.</span><span>comment</span><span>.</span><span>comments</span><span>for</span><span> comment </span><span>in</span><span> comments</span><span>:</span>…

I think this is due to downtime/slow server responses. Atlassian Team should confirm this.
-
@Paul K.I am afraid 'wiki' part is constant and is not configurable as of now.

You are welcome @Pranay Verma
-
@karl zhangthis error message usually means a server side error. Have you checked you API Key, username etc? Also please validate if status page provided by Atlassian - https://status.atlassian.com/
-
You are correct about page content, but Confluence also need to provide navigation, search etc and there is an App ecosystem build around various building blocks that Confluence show around our content. But I think Confluence Team can provide, more customization in content display of public pages. The Server version have…

You can do that by basically look at api response or on admin page of Jira. This KB article describe this in detail - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-find-id-for-custom-field-s-744522503.html
-
@MANISHA KAUSHIKJira doesn't provide permission level control on fields in issue by default. You can look at some plugins in Marketplace that provide this functionality, for example, * Customfield Editor for Jira * Secure Fields for Jira
-
Best way is, * Rename the project and project of existing project (you can prefix project name with 'Archive' and key with 'A')* https://confluence.atlassian.com/jiracoreserver/editing-a-project-s-details-938846223.html * Archive this renamed project,*…

@Pranay VermaAPI return value of custom field by custom-field id not by custom-field name. Find ID of TechnoWorld field and use that. It will in format like 'customfield_xxxxx' where xxxx is number.

@DmitryI understand your feedback. I hope Confluence Team is listening to this and try to provide us with better solution. Duplicating content and synchronizing is a huge problem.
-
@AnnapurnaI have already replied for this in your other question. In external environment, you only have two possibilities, Polling Search API, or Webhooks. Also, if my above answer helped you, please upvote and accept it, so that other people looking for same thing can also get help.
-
You have two ways to do this, * Polling* You can poll issue search api for recently updated issues and evaluate them. * You just need to keep timestamp of last poll, and tally of updates. * Webhook* Have a look at this - https://developer.atlassian.com/server/jira/platform/webhooks/ If you were using Java and Atlassian…
-
@DmitryI understand your problem. Confluence is primarily a knowledge base management tool, and it provide you with very basic control over look and feel of output site. You can do basic customization by following these section, * https://confluence.atlassian.com/confcloud/customizing-your-confluence-site-724765493.html *…

@[deleted]My mistake, try this ## Macro title: Date Countdown## Macro has a body: No## Body processing: No macro body#### Developed by: Remo Siegwart## Date created: 14/04/2012## This user macro counts down the number of days until a specific date## @param endDate:title=End Date|type=date|required=true|desc=The end date.…
-
@Gerard JohnsonConfluence provide columns and related customization with content only. So it is not possible to have comment block somewhere else other than bottom of the page.
-
You have two ways to do this, * Using Jira Python (python wrapper for calling Jira API's)* Reference - https://pypi.org/project/jira/ * Comments Example - https://jira.readthedocs.io/en/latest/examples.html#comments * Using rest API's provided by Jira* You will need to use 'requests' module from python (or any other) to…

@sivaThis tool is only meant to run against access logs not full atlassian-jira log. You can find access logs in <JIRA_INSTALLATION>/logs directory, run it against those files. Example, java -jar access-log-analyser-2.0.jar --num-categories=100 --file=<JIRA_INSTALLATION>/logs/access_log.*
-
Only detail Atlassian provide against API Token is last accessed. No more information is provided.
-
There is no extra effort. The partner ecosystem is in place to help you understand, and find correct solution for your need. They also provide training programs etc.
-
@Turbo PanumarchYes Atlassian have announced this, but details are yet to come out. * They haven't told that 10 user plan will be free, and * also no announcement on date of availability. You can read this Atlassian Blog for more details - https://www.atlassian.com/blog/platform/cloud-premium

Macro in Confluence are similar to Macro in word or excel. Confluence provide some built-in macro, if these Macro doen't suffice our need we can create User Macro which provide little bit of programming, and if we want full control we can Java Macro code using Java API and plugin model provided my Confluence.
-
I am modifying this to just print number if days, hours and minutes, ## Macro title: Date Countdown## Macro has a body: No## Body processing: No macro body#### Developed by: Remo Siegwart## Date created: 14/04/2012## This user macro counts down the number of days until a specific date## @param endDate:title=End…

@masha_yoosefinejadComponents are sub section of project, they are not issue types. You can look at this knowledge base article by Atlassian - https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/managing-components-938847187.html
-
First create project, and then few component in that project. Once this is done, create Epic and then Story and then Task and Sub-Task in Jira. Project --> Component --> Epic -> Story --> Task --> Sub-Task This is what I am following for more than 4-5 years.

You can run this command on any machine from which Jira server is accessible. openssl s_client -showcerts -connect <JIRA_SERVER_HOSTNAME>:<PORT> Yes you will need to run this on Terminal/Command Prompt, but make sure you have openssl installed. Usually it comes preinstalled on Linux. And you can search internet for Windows…
-
If you don't have information about certificate it is not advisable to do a guess work. Run this command against both your sites, (default https port is 443) openssl s_client -showcerts -connect <URL>:<PORT> It will give you information about certificate that you use to identify type. Check 'subject' and 'issuer'…
