@Fahad Siddiqui Nice that your issue got resolved. Jira is showing mail as sent because mail might have left Jira Mail Queue, and got stuck in your mail server (where user's mail was disabled). To further get rid of such complexities, I suggest you create a separate mail for subscriptions etc. (like…

Way to go, time to earn some certificates. Not, sure how my brain will treat pressure of examination, as it is ten years ago I sat in last examination. ;-)

Hi @Vincent Thoulé _Alkaes_ This is not possible directly to add external web resources. But there are some workaround that you can use, * Best is, to download all external resources put them in plugin directory and use it from there * Or you can try somethings like, "Fetch Inject" (if it works fine in your scenario)…

@mx03 Nice suggestion, although putty.org redirect you to 'chiark.greenend.org.uk' for download. I use putty.org, because it is easier to remember :-)

No, you can’t delete backup that Atlassian holds. It just gets deleted after 60 days.
-
@Izabella Cikalova There couple of things you need look here, * Atlassian keep data (as a backup) for 60 days, and * They don't allow data restore in case of accidental removal of data. You can read about data storage - https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/data-storage-faq-873871367.html And, about security practices -…

@Igor Loginov @Nic Brough -Adaptavist- is right about running confluence as ROOT user (this is true for all Atlassian application) I suggest you use reverse proxy server for this, like NGINX or Apache HTTPD.
-
@Mohamed Benzianethanks for sharing. So, you are using REST API just like us.
-
@Igor Loginov I suggest you to find evidence of error in your log file, and just share those lines in comment here. Also, make sure you don't have any other service running on port 80, and you are running your confluence using root privileges (usually port 80 require that). Startup related logs are located at -…

@jegadeeswaran.s I think I am not able to explain this clearly. Can you create separate question, I will ask Atlassian Team, and other community leaders to help you. Please provide link to separate question in this post.

@jegadeeswaran.s Jira on Cloud is hosted on Atlassian's network so you won't get a private IP ( Private IP is only valid for items that you have hosted in your private network) On Email Handler, do share this documentation yo your Domain Team -…

@Mahendar DUpgrading Jira 6 to 8 is not directly possible. You need to do step by step plugin. The upgrade path will look like this for you, 6.4.x -> 7.0.x -> 7.13.x -> 8.3.x In case of plugins that you are using, you need to check that they support Jira 8 (as much I know all of them does). Couple of more things you need…

@vladlensky to add to @Brant Schroeder points, if you are building plugin for Jira Cloud, you don't have to limit your self, you can any programming language of your choice. And in case of Jira Server, you can use language that compiles to JVM, (like Java, Kotlin, or Scala).

@Pooja There are two scenarios of configuring SSL with Jira and Confluence, * 1. SSL end on Jira/Confluence itself* The best guide I have found for this so far is Apache Tomcat (Jira and Confluence uses Tomcat as Servlet container) * https://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-7.0-doc/ssl-howto.html * SSL end on Reverse Proxy server…
