I didn't have too many toys growing up, but I did have a pretty savage collection of trolls, mostly with gemstones in their belly. It was hilarious and fun to see the recent movie Trolls, brought back lots of memories. Other than that, I read a ton of books, like many of the other posters. During summer I also would hold…

YES I must be the same age as you, @Scott Theus because that's around the age I was playing Oregon Trail at school. Definitely had some impact because mostly people on the Oregon Trail were dropping dead from diseases we have vaccines for nowadays, so I knew how important it was to get shots.

Interesting question and follow-up question!

That is an epic story, and fun to see you here @philippe. Good luck with your new company! looks like you can't get away from us... 😁

@Jodi LeBlanc, @Meg Holbrook I'm also a huge fan of astronaut videos of doing stuff in space. Have you read Hadfield's book? An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth: What Going to Space Taught Me About Ingenuity, Determination, and Being Prepared for Anything. Such a fascinating read...

Whooooops, epic miscommunication! Far enough along in the series to know if there is an actual baby on set haha. Cute baby 😇 What a cool story, @Monique vdB!! (super jealous too!)

Breathtakingly beautiful...

Hello! What button are you referring to? Are you familiar with macros in Confluence pages? To add a "Create from Template" button macro, for example, you go into editing a Confluence page. Then you select Macro browser. Then you can search to find the "Create from Template" macro, and add it to your page. When you save…

That's too cool! Where's the set?? (and is that a fake baby... I'm not far enough along to know for sure....) Might be a while till I get through all the seasons. I try to save my binge watching for when I actually can't do anything else but veg. The bar totally reminds me of the pub in Shaun of the Dead. It's like they…

Almost a week every month in unproductive meetings, yikes! Thanks for the link to the other post- I'll think about which page templates I've created that have been used extensively.

Hi Mark, There does seem to be a solution- one that is listed in this ticket: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-4333 Hopefully it can work for you, Carolyn Suggested Solution Currently this is allowed, specifically you can do it with the following: * Restrict customer portal access to role-based. * Configure a…

Hi Riya, and welcome to Community! I did a search on the Marketplace for Jira, Cloud, SLA, and unfortunately didn't see anything either that would meet your requirements for a plug-in. This is really where Jira Service Desk excels. https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&product=jira&query=sla What kind of…

You're welcome! Glad to help :) Carolyn

Hi Tom, Welcome to Community! I tried to reproduce your automation rule, and when I did and looked at the automation rule log it says "not executed". However, when I edited your JQL to truncate the summary text to "Product Request", it executed correctly! I'm honestly not sure why, but maybe you can try that? Hope this…

Awesome- glad to hear it! Best of luck, Carolyn

Hi Gabriela, I'm trying to think through what permissions I would check in your situation. Do your developers have Edit Issue permissions in the "tracking project"? In order to link issues, the user needs to have permissions to edit both issues. Hope this helps! Carolyn

Welcome back with more French skills than before! Definitely noticed the lack of PEI updates ;)

This past weekend was spent getting over a cold by lounging on the couch and binge-watching How I Met Your Mother, which I can't believe I never started in on before now. How that is possible, I don't know.

Pura vida! 🤩 Welcome back to the other vida- we missed you!

I totally agree with you on the last one! Absolutely loved those macros.

Hi Jenny, Did you find an answer to your question? At its core, Jira is a collection of issues. Based on your screenshot, it looks like one issue type would be marketing content. Other tasks could be generic "Marketing Task"-type issue with a workflow including statuses To Do->In Progress->Done. The bolded headings look…

+1 for more kayak building updates!

No worries- I realized I should have used the "block quote" format to make it clear that I was quoting off the ticket itself! I learned my lesson :) You can leave your comments on the issue itself so it can reach more people. As you realized, I'm just a lowly Community Champion volunteer :)

Wow, this is an amazing journey! Thanks for sharing it with us. It goes to show how much planning (in Jira and Confluence of course!) is essential to make everything work without endangering you, others, property, etc. Missing any item could put us, others, or our property in danger while rolling down the road. Just…

Thanks! High praise from the photography experts *swoons

If today is opposite day!

One of my a-ha moments came when I realized how easy it was to publish meeting notes before a meeting along with links, and then use it as a living document to revise during the meeting. Talk about saving a massive amount of time and headache at the beginning of a meeting! And those action items keep everyone on track…

In the vein of the cat cuteness, my submission is a very very long cat beard. In his defense, he is probably a Maine Coon (adopted so we don't know for sure), and mostly floof. He usually enjoys being picked up and always makes me smile.

I can totally cover doing the laundry- I love the smell of fresh laundry. And folding laundry is an excuse to watch Netflix, so it's perfect. I just hang or drape most things to dry and really, really avoid ironing (which I'm happy to pass off to someone else in the commune for those that really want ironed clothes...).

Could also be titled, "Well, that takes care of the cockroach(es)". I loathe finding a dead bug and having to dispose of it... Also, loathe finding live bugs (but I try to be humane and get them outside alive).
