Hi @Andy - PTC Redundant, fun question and I'm definitely in the holiday spirit. Here's a Christmas tree on the side of a building- not the most festive I've seen around town, but it's backdrop for a recent epic celebration of Vietnam's soccer (or is it football?) team win.

Hi @Jira Nabil, I sent an email and never received any response. Would you please let me know if you no longer need any support for your non-profit work? Thanks, Carolyn

Hello @Graham Wimbleton, Did you find the answer to your question? It looks like you have a Next-Gen project. This article will help you manage your epics: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Next-gen-articles/Working-with-epics-in-next-gen-Software-projects/ba-p/896953 Hope this helps! Carolyn

Hi Firoz, and welcome to Community! I was super excited to make a Zap to do this- automatically create a new ticket from slack when a user added an emoticon to a message in a slack channel (I created a new emoticon called ::newissue::). Everything worked beautifully until Zapier shut the Zap off due to my plan needing to…

First of all, you have used one of my all-time favorite gifs @Community Manager, and that makes me so inexplicably happy. Since I'm not a huge shopper, I love to go for a "treat yo self" afternoon of either yoga or back massage or swimming at the pool (or all 3). In the past, that would have seemed like overkill, but now…

That is a very sweet answer and so in line with your character :)

Merry Christmas and happy holidays everyone! @Thomas Schlegel This brought a smile to my face with all the great memories- looking forward to the rest of the countdown.
-
@Tinker Fadoua that's so sweet of you- thank you back for continuing to be an inspiration! Hope to see you again in person soon :) Love this time of year that reminds us to be grateful for those in our lives. I'm grateful for everyone who puts time into Community- makes me happy to be a part of the champions team.

I'm wearing the same t-shirt today! @Jack Brickey Also, did absentee voting :)

Hi Panko and welcome to Community! There is an open issue for what you are asking (correct me if I'm wrong though): https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-1169 The corresponding server issue has a workaround listed using automation. Maybe you can give that a try? https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-1169 Hope…

Hi Akshay, Yes, this user as an agent will consume a Jira Service Desk license. You can follow the steps here to make a user an agent. Carolyn

Hi Geetanjali, Is there a reason why you couldn't use a very simple workflow like "To Do", "In Progress, "Done"? If you want to use the ones you listed, can you just add "Done" as the final status? Let me know if that helps, Carolyn
-
Hi Akshay, The user must be an agent in order for you to assign a ticket to them. See Jira Service Desk permission documentation. A common scenario is to have another project that contains issues for developers (for example, in the software development context), and there are links between the Service Desk project and Jira…

Hi Kalai and welcome to Community! Have you taken a look at all the requirements management add-ons in the Atlassian Marketplace to see if they fit your use case? For example, ReqFLO - Requirements Management in Jira has a traceability matrix. I haven't used any of these add-ons, but it's worth it to install a trial and…

Hi Joss, and welcome to Community! Have you checked your spam folder? Also, sometimes work blocks emails that look like spam. Is it something where you can check with the IT at your work to make sure that didn't happen? Hope this helps, Carolyn

Now I can see the code- hooray! That article sounds great, looking forward to it.
-
Hmmm it still goes to a page that says "File not found." Can you copy and paste the code here?
-
@Iain Dooleythe link you provided doesn't go anywhere- can you redo please?

True! BBQ > Stove I just took a cooking class to learn more about cooking Vietnamese food. When you use fish sauce, make sure it is an amber color as opposed to a light color. Here is my favorite recipe from the class. I'm so excited to try and make it on my own. (not able to upload the image of the recipe.... will try…

Hi @jndeverteuil Congratulations! I loved reading your explanation of how you used Jira to plan your wedding. Hmmm... just got some maple syrup so this is a great recipe to try out. Don't currently have an oven, so I will try this out on the stovetop. Thanks!

Oh wow, enough to make anyone break out with singing "Climb Every Mountain"!

Hi Peter, Sure, no problem. I'm curious if you've tried using Labels with each label representing a team member. It would be an easy way to filter and quickly see all the tasks assigned to one person (since you have potentially multiple assignees per task). Thanks for sharing :) Carolyn
-
Hi Pamela and welcome to Community! Unfortunately, view permissions with a board doesn't exist natively in Trello. One potentially interesting solution for you could be to use the tool Butler for Trello to keep specific lists/cards in sync with those on a second board that you share with the client. Hope this helps! Carolyn
-
Hi Vi and welcome to Community! I also noticed there is a paid add-on that can connect AD to Jira Cloud called One Login. I haven't tried it out, but an Atlassian Evaluator Resources page called it out as a possibility. Hope this helps! Carolyn

Hi Charlotte, great to have you here! I'm originally from the DC area- there's a great user group there too if you are also interested in learning and sharing Jira info in person. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Washington-D-C/gp-p/dc https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Northern-Virginia/gp-p/NorthernVirginia And if you…

Hi Peter, I'm interested to explore how you are organizing your board. When you say "virtual entries", do you mean cards in Trello? If so, you can upload the team member's picture to the card, so that it shows as the cover picture. Or you can do one list per team member, and all the cards underneath that list are assigned…

The flowchart is a fun way to look at it. But sadly, donuts never factor in. It's been too long since I've had a food-involved meeting. I think I need more meetings in my life, donut meetings, they add a lot of value... I'm wondering why some of the end points in the flowchart are 'no meeting', but still have green check…

There are some nice power-ups like Butler to do that kind of automation- thanks @Stef for the suggestion
-
Hi Peter and welcome to Community! Users will need to upload their own personal picture/avatar, and then you should be able to see them. Does that answer your question? Carolyn

Planyway is a calendar and team timeline for Trello to manage time and teamwork. Que tenga un buen dia!…
