I agree with you there- it's been a pain point for me and other users too. I'll pass it along to the Atlassian team to try to get it bumped up in priority.
-
Yep, you are correct- go with my first sentence then to set up another profile with a personal email. I've done that, and to keep the account separate, I use them in different browsers (not ideal, but easier that signing in and out all the time). Carolyn

Nice idea

Hi Pablo, I don't think you can add them both in, however, you can log out, and log back in under a personal profile if you want. Alternatively, if you don't have single sign-on at work, you can change your email in that profile to your personal one, and keep all the history: https://id.atlassian.com/manage/change-email…

Hi Jessica, Sorry for the delay to get back to you... Here are some Project Management templates (I love the project poster and DACI ones!): https://www.atlassian.com/project-management#project-management-templates Do you know if you will use Jira Software Cloud or Server? The course in the link you gave is for Server, so…

Congratulations! You deserve it :) That screen with the PASS makes it all worthwhile...

I couldn't find it on android either!

Hi Elma, I've also been seeing this in the new Comment functionality in the new issue detail view in Cloud- basically no rich formatting works anymore. It's a simplified field, which has been improved by floating and so you can write a comment as you scroll down the issue. However, I have been 'watching' this Atlassian…

Agreed- both hooman and cat enjoy it. It has a clip inside for the leash/collar, so that the kitty can't easily escape. I think I first saw it in 1bike1world (a great IG account for cat lovers).

Nice follow-up and love the analogy of hurdles! You hit the nail on the head about training assumptions and have included an illustrative story too.

Super lucky to join this post (excellent timing, @Shannon S ) as I'm cat sitting for the next 2 weeks! Meet Herman, the 9 month old rescue kitty, and his ears. He would be that shy coworker in the far cubicle who can sense free food being set out in the break room, and zooms in to grab a few pieces of pizza/ cat nibbles.…

As Jack says, don't know about the roadmap for this, however, here's the Jira issue to vote/watch for updates to getting parallel sprints in Next Gen projects: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17195

Unfortunately, not developed yet @Chetan Here's the Jira issue to vote/watch for updates to getting parallel sprints in Next Gen projects: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWCLOUD-17195

You're welcome!

I think I figured out how to link to comments. If you click on ... to the right of the comment, and then hover over Edit, you will see the message ID in the URL. Add that message ID to the end of the main discussion/question URL after #. I think that will give you a link directly to the comment. An example for this one…

Too easy @Susan Ostreicher ! 😁

Ok, do you have Cloud or Server? I've overcome this limitation through an app called "Share It" by Comala (only for Server though): https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1212189/comala-share-it?hosting=server&tab=overview There's a Jira issue for voting/watching this functionality:…

Hi Nancy, When you reference "site" do you mean the user's Personal Space? You are correct that the view restrictions are inherited from the parent pages down. You could certainly do what you propose, and then inform the user to not put anything on his home page of importance. That's usually what I do. Best, Carolyn

You're welcome! @Jack Nolddor [Sweet Bananas]

Ah, I interpreted the question tags to mean you also have Jira Software. If you do, then you can still use it and just create your filter with multiple service desk projects. If you don't have Jira Software though, then unfortunately not usable.

Let us know if Mo's suggestion works @Karen O'Keefe . Otherwise this seems like a big pain point for continuity @Monique vdB

Hi Catrine, Some changes were made in the last year or so (my memory is going!) to Boards so that they must belong to either a project or a user (Your Boards). However, the Board can show issues from as many projects as you would like (hence my instructions about how to change the board filter above). More Atlassian…
-
Sorry I can't help you further with the Dashboard. With a board, you can still use a filter with multiple projects. Is there a reason you need to use a Dashboard?
-
Hi Jessica and welcome! Would be helpful to understand what kind of projects you are going to be working on? agile software development? what's your background? what Atlassian products are you using? If you will be admin of Jira and/or Confluence, I highly recommend the Atlassian certifications. Just going through all the…

You can create a board. Click on the three dots in the right corner of the Board -> Board Settings. Edit the Filter and add your saved filter. Now this board will show the issues you care about. You could also add a Quick Filter into an existing board that contains these issues.…
-
I second @Fabienne Gerhard 's recommendation to clear your cache and see if that helps.

Hi Catrine, For the Filter Results gadget, looks like you can only view it in List View. Someone may have another suggestion for you. However, would it be an option to create a new board, and add the filter to the Board Settings, so that you only view those issues, and you can manage it very easily there? Carolyn
