Interesting, thanks for sharing

In the post is says "With Compass, Jira Software users have a clearer understanding..." Does that include Jira Data Center? I suspect not @Mike P as far as I'm aware Compass in Cloud only

Thanks for the detailed post!

Thanks for sharing this!

Thanks for the demo today. For those interested, next to the official Jenkins for Jira app, there is also Jenkins Integration for Jira which provides the same and more integrations points that the official app does. (Disclaimer, I'm the developer of the app)

@deddy You have two options, https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211376/jenkins-integration-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview and https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1227791/jenkins-for-jira-official?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

Hi @Scott White thanks for your reply. I have reviewed the article related to the link you gave again but I don't see any way to get an app added on specific Marketplace marketing labels (like devops-ci and devops-cd), or in the toolchain page. Is there a specific person or group I can connect with for this?
-
Thanks for sharing this @Scott White I'm looking forward to office hours next week. In the mean time, do you know how a Marketplace Partner, like myself, can get there apps added to the in the screens you showed? I see that there are some Marketplace marketing labels used next to a curated list of apps. I've been trying to…

Nice looking forward to it. Will Atlassian also be publishing processes to get app listed in the toolchain discover pages of Jira? Seems a lot of the integrations relate to app that can be found via the toolchain page in Jira.

I would say there are two options you can go with. Work with the IT team on getting a system integration account. This is likely the easiest way since your tooling is already setup to use a user account for the integration. Another option would be to implement your tool as an app for Jira either a P2 (server/data center)…

Could be indeed. If the Jenkins instance is not accessible by the publish internet then it is currently not supported by the cloud app.

Removed this, duplicate reply submission

Hi Huy, You may need to verify that you have teh correct add-on installed. The integration requires the Jira Integration for Jenkins add-on, see https://docs.marvelution.org/jji/cloud/release-notes Cheers, Mark
-
Hi, You can follow this Quick Start Guide to integrate Jira with Jenkins. Cheers, Mark
-
If you are looking to create a new issue in Jira based on build data synchronized form Jenkins, that you will have to wait until JJI-473 is implemented. This feature story will add automation in Jira and Jenkins to the add-on.
-
@[deleted], as the message stated you need the 'Jira Integration for Jenkins' plugin not the 'Jira plugin'.
-
Hi @[deleted] @Vickey Palzor Lepcha is correct, you need to install the counterpart add-on in Jenkins as well. Follow the link Release Notes in the message. There you can download the Jenkins add-on that will allow you to integrate the two. For future help/issues, I would suggest you create a support ticket at the support…

Hi Donald, I don't have guides that show how to use the plugins. Currently there are basic configuration guides to get you started using the plugin in JIRA and Jenkins. As for the Jenkins plugin you mentioned. That is the default Jenkins plugin. The Jenkins Inetrgation for JIRA project uses a custom plugin for Jenkins. All…

Hi Charlotte, I saw the ticket but didn't have the time yet to respond. Other obligations toe away the time for Marvelution. I'll do my best to get back to you as soon as possible
-
Maybe you are effected by https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-21954Another user brought this to my attention, can you please check you Jenkins log
-
Hi Charlotte, It looks like there is more going on on your system. Can you create a new bug issue at https://marvelution.atlassian.net/browse/JJI? Please include all details you have including log files. Than I can review those and see what the issue is. I'm just about to release the new version with OAuth support and will…

Hi Charlotte, Yes, the Jenkins Integration for JIRA project contains a plugin for JIRA (avilable in the marketplace) and a plugin for Jenkins. This Jenkins plugins implements the applinks framework of Atlassian for better integration. This plugin is available via Release Notes page in our Confluence instance. I think this…
-
Hi Charlotte, Please make sure that you have the JIRA plugin from the JIRA Jenkins Integration Project installed on your Jenkins site. The version of this plugin should match the JIRA plugin. The duplication of sites is a new issue I haven't seen before. I'll run some tests and look into a possible fix for you. Cheers, Mark

Hi Craig, I'm currently working on getting the Jenkins Application Links feature upgraded to support the newer JIRA version. Im nearly there and should be able to get a new version out this week. Please keep an eye on the marketplace, this error will disappear once you have this version of the JIRA and Jenkins plugins…
-
Hi Alan, As stated, please go to our release notes pages for the plugin to be installed in Jenkins. Once installed the JIRA plugin will detect it start using its features. Also if you have issues and would like support, I suggest opening a ticket in our open issue tracker. Link also noted in the previous comment and on the…

Marvelution has migrated away from Atlassian Cloud so https://marvelution.atlassian.net/ is no longer online. If you have issues now, you should go to https://issues.marvelution.org as stated in the links section on the marketplace listing. I'm also not sure what you mean by "marvelution says my email domain is not…
-
Hi, I ran multiple tests to find the issue, and beleave that the proxy between JIRA and Jenkins is causing this issue. I'm now in the process of finding a good solution to overcome this. But its taking longer then I expected. Cheers, Mark
-
Hi Rade, Yes lets continue this in the related issues at https://marvelution.atlassian.net/browse/JJI.
-
Hi Rade, Can you try uninstalling the plugin and then reinstalling it? The icons should be included. If that fails you can always download the artifact. To do this, please go to the release ntoes page (https://marvelution.atlassian.net/wiki/display/JJI/1.0.2+Release+Notes) and download the OBR for the plugin there. Please…
