We'll keep you posted when we have a solution for its validaiton.

Hello @Wyatt Davis , The main issue with Confluence Cloud and 21 CFR 11 (and for other less stringent standards), is that it is very dynamic. It is frequently updated so any validation is difficult to defend. We are working with Atlassian to find a solution, but it will probably be the towards the end of the year. Other…

Hi, I am by no means a developer, but this piece of code does exactly this. You can modify it to show the links too. ## @param noShowLabel:title=Label|type=string|desc=Label of pages to exclude #macro(childrenList $parentPage) #set($childpagesSub = $parentPage.getSortedChildren()) #set($childrenN = $childpagesSub.size())…

Hi Stephen, Is it for manually created tasks or the ones built into the workflow? If you share the WF with me I may be able to figure something out. Matteo
-
... and on the same note, how can I also add a new page to the same space?
-
Hi Bill, I should have explained the situation a bit better, my bad. The Page Properties Report macro pulls certain values from pages in another space. I need to get the values reported by the macro in a certain column and manipulate them. I don't really need a pure wrapper, as the inputs to the Properties Report macro…

Hi Bill, I read your article, but how can I then use the output of the page properties macro? I need to pick values in certain cells and based on their value trigger some behavior. Thanks.

Hi Bill, The body is rendered, but I didn't know you could escape the output. This is a snippet: #set($myTrainingBody=$body.split("</thead>")) ## Isolate table headers #foreach ($string in $myTrainingBody) #set($xxx = $myTrainingTemp.add($string)) ##<p> $string </p> #end ##$myTrainingTemp…

Hello Rico, This is not yet available as far as I know. Matteo

Hi, On a related topic, do you know how to READ a page property within a user macro? Thanks Matteo

Hello, I can provide some insights into the Medical Device regulations. We are already feeding information to Fili, but I'm happy to help here too if necessary. The standards we have to comply to are: ISO 13485 21 CFR 11, 21 CFR 820 (in the US) MDD / MDR (in the EU) Let me know how I can help. Regards Matteo
-
Hello, From the perspective of the Medical Device companies, it would be necessary to have this feature on the Premium version too. Many companies in this space are small-medium in size and cannot afford the Enterprise version. Thanks Matteo

Hello Bill, Metadata stored within the page, using Comala Document Management. Thanks Matteo
-
Hi James, It works, but I need to do it within a user custom macro: <ac:macro ac:name="get-metadata"> <ac:parameter ac:name="key"> signaturerep </ac:parameter> </ac:macro> This works but it only executes the {get-metadata} macro. I need to store this value in a parameter and that's what I cannot figure out.

Hello @M Vaqqas , We have a solution for document management on Confluence with medical device regulations in mind. It uses Comala Document Management Cloud. Feel free to drop us an email and we can show it to you. It comes on Server or Cloud. Kind Regards Matteo

Hi Akila, This is not an easy question. You can start with the FDA guidance on software validation, which covers both products and tools. https://www.fda.gov/regulatory-information/search-fda-guidance-documents/general-principles-software-validation As a company, we can provide this type of service, if you are interested.…

Hi, You can consider Comala Document Management. It is possible to trigger email notifications when an attachment is added, removed or changed. Matteo
-
Hi Markus, Can you explain in a bit more details what you are trying to do? Are you trying to create a separate version of a document, different from the Confluence versioning? Are you using Comala? Server, Cloud, ...? Matteo

Only one comment, @expirydate@ retrieves the expiry date of the current step, you do not need to set it, it's read-only. Basically, you set the due date of the Primary and Secondary reviews using the normal duedate option in the state. {state:Stage(Primary Review)|duedate=P5D} <transition to other states etc.> {state}
-
Hello @vinod.joseph , One of the products / services we offer is exactly to set up a eDMS in Confluence based on 21 CFR 11. Feel free to check it here https://softcomply.com/medicompli/ and give us a shout. Regards Matteo
-
Hi Vanisree, My approach is a bit different and it will solve you problem. See example below: {trigger:statechanged|state=Stage(Primary Review)|@firsttimeinstate@=True} {set-metadata:duedateold}@expirydate@{set-metadata} {trigger} {trigger:statechanged|state=Stage(Primary Review)|@firsttimeinstate@=False}…
-
Hello Vanisree, Yes you can. 1) Save the due date of state in a variable. The system will save it as a date, not period. 2) When the wf transitions back to the state with the due date, use the set-state-expiry macro and re-set the due date to the valued you saved before. I used it a few times in my wfs and it works ok.…

Hello @Ally Lancaster , Atlassian will end selling new Confluence and Jira Server licenses in February 2021 and they will end supporting Server apps in February 2024. Companies already on Server will be supported for the next three years and, even after that, the system will still run the same, even without updates from…

Hello Cameron, Please drop me an email I'll give you these info. matteo@softcomply.com Regards Matteo

Hello @Cameron Deatsch , In the Medical Device industry there are a number of regulations and standards we need to comply with. The issue is with them, not internal policies. Ref ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 11, just to start. (FYI We are not a user, we are an integrator of Apps to create solutions for the MedTech industry on…
-
Hello, I think I'm speaking for a lot of other partners in the Atlassian ecosystem. The decision to eventually discontinue the Server products is a massive deal. We have business mainly with small-medium companies who can't simply afford to move to Data Center. As we work with regulated industries like Medical Device…

Hello @Abhijith Chunduru , together with Comala we have create a solution on Confluence that addresses all the 21 CFR 11 requirements. We will be happy to show you a demo if you are interested. Regards Matteo Gubellini

Hi, I'm having a similar issue... Just to clarify: if at a space level I restrict a group to view only, can I allow a user from this group to edit a specific page? It does not seem to be working.
