Great point, Mirek. We were all surprised by the demand, frankly. We expected it to take several days to fill the seats. :-)

Hi Mirek, Anisha, Yes, we had a lot of demand on the first day, so registration is closed. General availability is scheduled for late April. The training course is ~9 hours. You'd follow it with study and preparation. The exam itself allows up to 3 hours to complete. -Atlassian Certification Team

The sample questions have been refreshed and this problematic one has been removed.

Questions appearing in the Certification exams undergo layers of scrutiny and analysis that sample questions do not. For this reason, it is rare to find a problem in an actual scored exam question. During the exam, test takers can Comment on questions they think might have problems; all Comment are read, but they might not…

Hi Tom, Your Badge will extend only the Certifications you already hold.

Hi Jesus, they are done in a testing center. There are testing centers in Monterrey and Mexico City.

Hi Tom, A Badge will extend only related ACPs. So the Confluence Badges extend only the Confluence ACP. Jira Badges typically extend multiple ACPs. A Badge will not extend an ACP that you earn after earning the Badge. Atlassian will continue to develop and release Badge titles, so we don't expect you to bump up against…

The Sales Accreditation does not have costs associated with it, because it does not have a Certification component. Thanks for this input Yagnesh, I really appreciate it!

Hi Yagnesh, around September we'll be launching a Certification for Scrum masters and project leads, on Agile Development with JIRA Software. Something specifically for Developers isn't on our roadmap yet. If we were to build something that would be of real value to developers, what would it look like to you? I'm…

The cost to earn an Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) credential is $350, and the credential is valid for 18 months. To maintain your ACP, you will earn Badges. Badges will cost $150 or $75, depending on the type, and Badge exams can be taken from your own location. Each Badge renews your ACP for another 18 months.…

Robert, here are some great tips from an ACP who prepared without the benefit of the Atlassian Cert Prep course: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-study-jira-administrator-certification-rachel-wright It sounds like her prep path cost close to nothing. We think the study group idea is an excellent one.

Anyone who shares privileged information they gained from having taken an Atlassian exam is compromising the security of the exam for everyone and undermining the value of the credential that many people have worked hard to earn. Note that the Candidate Agreement entered into between Atlassian and program participants…
