Let's play my first friday fun game :) * According to the top 10 movies on IMDb, I've just watched 3 of them. * I've been on a mountain before that's higher than 4,000 meters (~13k ft). * I haven't read a single book in the last three years.

Hi @Stacy Ajouri I think I know why the Javascript directly in the page did'nt work, because the space category macro wasn't loaded at this time. I added it in end of the body in the "Custom HTML" section in the administration console. There it worked, but not very user friendly... When you go to the page, it sets the…

Hi @vallone.v Confluence documentation say: You'll only receive notifications for content that you have permission to view. Users that have been disabled by an administrator will not receive email notifications. Does do user have permission for the space or is the page restricted and not accesible for the user? It could…

He wanted to say yes, but couldn't reply, so I connect you together again :) https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-Cloud-questions/Undo-Button/qaq-p/1219803 @Johnny O Manns: When you mean Undo, did you try to press "CTRL-Z" to make your last changes undo?

Hi @Johnny O Manns I answered for you :) Hope next time the answer button works. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/When-creating-and-editing-a-page-in-Confluence-Cloud-is-there-no/qaq-p/1218947

Hi @Matt Coarr If I understand you correctly, you just want to paste a link with a normal text. You can absolutely use the wiki markup, but then you have to insert it especially like shown in the printscreens. Otherwise you can just type "my link text", mark it and click the link icon in the menu bar. This will open a…

Hi @Pankaj Sharma As I said, if you want to contact with the vendor, feel free to write them here. I don't add any requests. This was just my suggestion for you.

Hi @[deleted] The only way to do this is to change the sizes in the html while editing. Therefore you need a browser which have development tools. And you need HTML knowhow to change it. But this you would have to do manually every time you edit a roadmap. I don't know any other solution... Regards, Dominic

Hi @Tami Church The only way to do a template space / blueprint would be to write one. Here is a documentation of how to do so. Another option to easily generate spaces is to create a normal space and define it as a template. Then, you create a blank space and copy all pages from the "template space" to the new space. Hope…

Hi @Stacy Ajouri Your approach is not very bad at first sight. But I have some questions. * Where did you add your code? * Would a user macro be acceptable? Perhaps my little input helps you already to figure something out. When I change the category it reloads the whole page with a new URL:…

Hi @Pankaj Sharma I tested a bit and have to say, I didn't find this option to set the "Total" at the top of a table. The macro doesn't have this feature. I think what you could do is to ask the vendor with a support ticket. I've added the macro in the tags, so the developer of the plugin will read this. Hope this helps,…

Hi @Robin Raben In the edit mode, a variable is an image. This means, you can not search for this string. I found a way to search the template, but you need a little bit HTML skills. * Use a browser which have "developer tools" (Chrome is perfect for this) * Open the template in edit mode * click F12 to open the dev…

@Angélica Luz I'm going to spinning once a week and in the group, it is absolutely awesome! :) So, try it out :)

I could give you recommendations on readings to learn more about switzerland :-)

Hi @shenghong All informations about restriction can you read here. One thing I want to mention: Restrictions can not overrule the space permission. So if a user don't have edit rights for the space, he won't be able to edit a page, even though you granted access to edit in the restriction. Hope this helps Regards, Dominic

Hi @Florent Richard I tried it as you described, and it works fine. * Which version do you have in Scroll PDF Exporter and confluence? * Did you export it or do you just wonder the preview name? What is the actual PDF name? Second hint: Are you sure, there is no hidden space somewhere in the page properties? Regards,…

Hi @Marta_Gil The only solution I can think of, is to set a label to your template. Then, all pages which are created with a template will get this label and then you can count how many pages have the specific label. This means, no body is allowed to remove the label of the created page. Regards, Dominic

Hi @Keanu Concepcion I'm using Confluence for a few years now, and I haven't found any solution for both of your problems! I would highly appreciate, if someone has a good solution for that. I once asked for something, to change the name of an image directly on drag'n'drop or copy/paste, but no one could really help. Hope…

Hi @Liam North If I understand you correctly, you want to give someone permission for a page (with subpages), but all other pages should be invisible? This is only feasible with restrictions. You have to set the space permission for the outgoing agency to read / write. Then you have to restrict all other pages, so that…

Hi @Filip Gawlas I'm a fan of user macros! And yes, in theory it should be possible. If I understand you correctly, you want to have a button, which creates a JIRA item with some values. So you need some HTML knowhow to create a button. Then, in theory, you should get the content from the table (with javascript). And at…

Hi @oliverwi Do you mean this page here? There, all bugs are transparent to the community. https://jira.atlassian.com/projects/CONFSERVER/issues For this, you need an atlassian account. But for reporting a bug, the link from Haran is the right one.

Okay, thanks for sharing your information. First of all, confluence isn't Excel :) You are right, you can't edit the excel file in confluence itself. But since Version 6.11, you can edit it with the atlassian companion app. Therefore, the app starts excel and you can edit it on excel and save it to confluence. The office…

Hi @catalin.saizu There is one possibility to do that. You could write a javascript, which scrape the page to find the last modified date. Then this date you could compare with today, and if the date is more than 1 year ago, you just have to set the color of the title to red. This means, that you won't be able to get all…

Hi @mohit.khurana Of course you can export to word. But not multiple pages at once, just one by one. Here is the documentation. To export, go to the page and choose either > Export to Word or > Export to PDF. If you want more options, then I would recommend the plugin @Doug Swartz mentioned. Regards Dominic

Hi @Florent Richard Do you have an printscreen? Perhaps with a little bit more informatioen I can help. Thanks for sharing.

Hi, I think, my link is broken ... Here is the correct link to the own build user macro, for free. https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/User-Macro-to-Search-for-Old-Pages/qaq-p/609166 Hope this helps.

Hi @Muffo I understand you well! This happens to me a lot, too. What I'm doing: Wait! Atlassian made an announcement, where they plan to do "live macros", which means, what you see, is what you get in the edit mode. Therefore, your problem should be solved. But, the announcment is a long time ago. I found two blog…

Hi @Susan Kraft-Yorke Since you are using confluence server, you could create a user macro for this purpose. On this page, a user shares his user macro. I tried it out and it worked for me. Let me know if you need help. Regards, Dominic

Hi @Stephy Ong I think, there are plugins to do this. I just know Scroll Viewport. With this plugin, you should be able to do it (I think, I'm not a user of viewport). The other and more complex way would be to create your own CSS. If you are not a HTML/CSS developer, I wouldn't recommend it. Regards, Dominic

okay, this is weird... because I tried with the normal expand macro and it worked. then I think you have to contact the support
