So I don't think this is possible with a user macro, I'm sorry... What about a real template?
-
I'm not quite sure I understand you correctly :) I try to explain. A user macro renders its content when viewing the page. So the user macro looks different in the view mode and the edit mode. In the edit mode, you can't add a "template table". So for you, this would looks like this (I think): User Macro ## This is an…

Hi @David_Bakkers Everything is correct. You just described the parameter "BackToTop" and not the user macro itself. For describing the user macro itself, you need to fill these fields: Regards, Dominic
-
Hi @Christian Sprenger I think, this would be possible. I'm interessted, what kind of information you want to display? Depending on the information you want to display, you can easily make a user macro and display the parameters in a table. For example: ## Macro title: ABC ## Macro has a body: N ## ## This is an example…

Hi @Krista_McGruder I'm sorry to hear that you don't like the fonts. But to change the fonts, you need admin permission. I think, there are two options for your administrator. * Styling Fonts in Confluence * Webfonts for Confluence (Free Plugin) I like and would recommend the first option. But I think you are restricted to…

Thank you very much.

Thanks for the information. I have another question. What is allowed in the exam? Can I use the online documentation, can I use the offline PDF documentation? Regards, Dominic

What was causing the problem?

This is very strange. To be honest I'm stumped now... Since you are a standard cloud user, I would suggest you to raise a support ticket and check with atlassian. You can raise a support ticket here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ Hope they can help you. Sorry, I couldn't help you more. Regards, Dominic

Hi @Samantha Sharkov When you are in the edit mode, you can just drag and drop your excel sheet. Then you can type "/excel" and the excel macro should show up: There you can select the "File Name" and "Page Name". Hope this helped. Regards, Dominic
-
Hi @Jeffrey Villamin As far as I know, this isn't possible for cloud. For the server there would be an app for this * Send Email to Page Regards, Dominic

Hi @Jake Welcome to the community and welcome to confluence! First of all, no worries. Your free confluence instance isn't accessible for everyone. Only you have access to it! In the free plan, you can grant access to up to 10 persons. Your confluence instance has it's own users and login. You can set up the users in the…

Hi @Fleur.deVries I think there are two options for you: * Share a print version (Export Word / PDF / HTML and XML ) * Make the space public for everyone (Grant anonymous access) Let me know if you need further assistance. Regards, Dominic

Cool, I'm glad I could help!

Thanks for sharing more informations. I'm not an absoult expert in user macros, but I created a few and have some examples :) I thing, your approach isn't possible to do. Because an "unpublished change" ist called a draft. And a draft isn't just a flag to a page. It's a new version. First of all, if you loop over all…

So it really seems you don't have any permission to change the default space permissions. You should contact an administrator of the confluence instance. What do you get when you click the "user management" link?
-
Hey @oguz611 Do you really need an user macro for this? Out of the box, confluence brings this feature. If the page is an draft, the user who made changes is notified by a box nearby the title: If some other person go to this site, he won't see the changes. Only if he edit the page, then he will notice, that someone else…

Can you check 2 things: * Is there any "Custom HTML"* Go to the Settings * In the section "Look and Feel" choose "Custom HTML" * Is something there? * Is there any "Custom CSS Stylesheet"* Go to the Settings * In the section "Look and Feel" choose "Stylesheet" * Is something there? These are the only two options I can…

Hmm that's strange. It looks like you haven't permission to do this action. Are you sure you are still a site-admin? Can you share a printscreen what do you see when you click the cogwheel or when you try this link? https://<<your-instance>>.atlassian.net/wiki/admin/ Regards, Dominic

What happens when you try this link? https://<<your-instance>>.atlassian.net/wiki/admin/permissions/viewdefaultspacepermissions.action

Hi @Benjamin Meier I think the example in your documentation is outdated. Check the official REST API for Cloud. There, you can find the API for getting attachments. GET /wiki/rest/api/content/{id}/child/attachment For your instance: https://<<my Confluence>>.atlassian.net/wiki/rest/api/content/131664/child/attachment Hope…

Hi @Szymon F This is strange but I have a possible idea. Is it possible, that you have any custom CSS or custom HTML? I was able to fake this behaviour with CSS: Can you check this? Thanks, Dominic
-
Hi @Paige_Schneider To show your excel attachment just go to the edit view of your page. Type "/excel" and the excel macro should show up: There you can select the "File Name" and "Page Name". Hope this helped. Regards, Dominic
-
Hi @Samantha Sharkov How did you copy the table? From the view mode or from the edit mode? Which broswer do you use? I tried by myself and it worked fine: Regards, Dominic
-
Hi @Andy Vo According to this documentation: To set the default space permissions: * Go to Settings in the Confluence navigation * Click Space Permissions * Click Edit Permissions Default permissions are configurable for groups only, not for individual or anonymous users. Regards, Dominic

I love statistics like this, and its impressive! Best Community ever!

Thanks a lot. I voted for that.

I like the fact, that you want to migrate the old pages. In fact, I've never had old pages to migrate, so I can't help you with that. I also can understand, you want to prevent others to migrate and stop manual work. I asked other community leaders, if they have any ideas what you can do.
-
Unfortunately I can't test it :) What browser do you use? have you tried to use a different browser?

Hi @Kanan Hasanov How you wanted to submit a suport request? You can raise a support question here: https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/ Make sure, you have a login and you are logged in. Regards, Dominic
