I'm really glad to hear.

Hi @Aanchal Bhatnagar I'm Mariia from SaaSJet. If you’re open to third-party apps and want something more tailored, you might want to check out AI Apps Builder for Jira, the app I'm working on. AI Apps Builder lets you create custom dashboards and gadgets by simply describing what you need in plain English — no coding…

Hello, @Divya Sudhakar _US - ADVS_ I understand your original question focused on ScriptRunner, but I noticed my colleagues have suggested several alternative solutions. I also found your question interesting.I work with AI Apps Builder, an AI-powered tool that lets users create custom dashboards and gadgets from a simple…

@Elena_Elevatic, Thanks for your feedback. We really see the potential of this product and work hard to make it a reality.

Hi @Ravi Nandan Venkatapuram With standard Jira gadgets, you can create a saved filter with that JQL, than use gadgets that show sum of Story Points like "Filter Results". But you can't recalculate the “SUM of Story points” without editing the filter. If you’re open to using a Marketplace app, please check out No-Code Apps…

@Bob Scudder If you’re open to trying a Marketplace app, I invite you to check out No-Code Apps Creator for Jira — it’s an AI-powered tool my team works on. You can describe what you want in plain English (no coding), and it helps you create a custom dashboard gadget or report. For example, you could ask it to build: * A…

@Anne Saunders Oh my gosh. I can imagine how stressful that must be. Thanks for sharing.
-
@Anne Saunders Thanks, I'm glad to hear that.
-
@Anne Saunders Done. I hope you enjoy all of our postcards.

Hi, @Calogero Bonasia Thank you for sharing your experience and expertise. Your comment is very valuable to my team and me. You are right about the need to clearly separate “building with AI” from “giving AI access to data.” This difference is often missed at the policy or decision-making level, even though it is critical…

Hi, @Konstantin Brand Thanks for sharing. Honestly, I’ve heard similar feedback from other companies. That said, I’m sorry to hear this relationship broke up. Wishing you the best of luck in finding an alternative that truly fits your company’s needs and future plans.
-
@Monika Rani Thank you for your feedback. Nice to hear that my work is valuable.

Hi, @Anne Saunders Thanks for asking! 😊 I'm so glad you are interested in it. Once all the posts are published, I’ll gather all the links and update this article.

Thank you, @Majo Francis _MicroGenesis Techsoft_, for your support. I appreciate it.

hi, @Raheem Pillay I'm Mariia from SaaSJet. Nice to meet you. You’re absolutely right. The native reporting in JSM is pretty limited if you need more than just basic metrics, so a lot of teams use a Marketplace app for Service Desk reporting. There are a few popular options depending on what you need, like SLA reporting,…

Hi, @Majo Francis _MicroGenesis Techsoft_ Thanks for your feedback. You are right about “Allow Access.” It’s my mistake. I described unlicensed access as the “solution” because, in real-world situations on the Atlassian Developer Community, some people had written that it would remove the “Allow access” dialog for regular…

Hi, @Justin Townsend Thanks a lot for your feedback. I really appreciate it! I'm glad the article helped clear up some of the common questions. There’s a lot of momentum and curiosity around Forge right now, so I’m happy to be part of that.
-
Hi, @Elena_Elevatic Thank you so much for your kind feedback! At SaaSJet, we’ve also started migrating our products to Forge—and a few have already completed the transition. We’ve also noticed new opportunities to use Forge and created the No-Code Apps Creator I mentioned in the article. It’s exciting to see how easily…

From what I understand, Jira Cloud’s built-in features may not cover all your needs. You can automate effort calculations and filter issues by date, but for grouping, aggregation, and visualization, you will need extra tools.
-
Hello, @Rahul.Chaudhary Welcome. You’ve described your needs very clearly. This is essentially release-based workload planning with timeline visualization, and Jira Cloud can only cover part of this natively. ✅ Dynamic effort calculation: Jira Automation can calculate business days (Monday–Friday) using smart values, but…

Hi, @Teresa Shellvin Welcome to the Community As others have already said, for basic workload, you can use Jira Cloud dashboards, but for full-capacity planning, you need advanced roadmaps or a third-party app. If you’re open to trying an AI tool for Jira, take a look at No-Code Apps Creator. This Jira app lets you build…

I hope you'll find the solution.

@Sébastien RATEL Yes, I got a response: "We can't respond to that prompt. It might not comply with the policy.' I mention it because I also asked it to analyze the data from the report.
-
Hi, @Sébastien RATEL I had a Rovo access problem yesterday, too, but in my case, it was because of policy changes. You might also find an answer here: https://www.atlassian.com/legal/acceptable-use-policy#ai-offerings.

Hi, @Onder Ozcan Thank you so much for your feedback. I hope we can bring the Atlassian Community together and share a bit of joy this season.

Hi there 👋 If you are open to exploring third-party solutions, I'd recommend No-Code Apps Creator for Jira by my team, an AI-powered app that lets you create your own dashboard or custom gadget by simply describing what you need in plain English. For example, you can ask: “Create a dashboard that shows worklog time per…

Hi, @Timothy McKay You can use the JQL query: (created >= 2025-01-01 AND created <= 2025-12-31) OR (updated >= 2025-01-01 AND updated <= 2025-12-31) and save the filter. If you want to display the results on your dashboard, use the “Filter Results” gadget. Or do you need something more custom?
-
Hi, @BM If I understand correctly, I’d suggest you create a filter using a JQL query like: project in (key1, key2, key3, key4, key5). And then make a board using your existing saved filter and configure columns to reduce noise. Also, if you are curious to test your idea with AI, you can check out No-Code Apps Creator by my…
