Hi @Somik Mukherjee I'm glad you provided the screenshot. It really helped to bring some clarity to the situation. Just to clarify, this is a form field and not a Jira custom field, so the REST API endpoint will be different for this case. Please refer - Get external form data Endpoint…

@Tony Montana Currently it is not possible to restrict the sharing permission only to the original reporter(customer). Both agents and customers can add and remove request participants. Who customers can add as participants depends on the project's customer permissions settings. Read Managing access to your service project…

Hi @Imam Taufiq Hermawan Welcome to the Atlassian Community! It is possible that the problematic email address has been added to the suppression list due to bounce errors and may require to be removed from the suppression list. As you are on a premium plan (as tagged while posting this question), it would be advisable to…

Hi @Somik Mukherjee thank you for the screenshots. I am unable to reproduce it at my end. Just wanted to check with you on the value you provided in Start Time field - Can see only time stamp there 14:00 without a date. How is this being set ? Example of date time picker field, in my instance, it have two input areas: one…

Hi @sai Welcome to the Atlassian Community! By default, products use the language set by your browser. Your product admins can overwrite the language settings by setting a default language for the product. However, if you set a language from your Atlassian account, your language setting overwrites the language your admin…

My understanding is that you wish to limit the sharing of requests with other participants. Please correct me if I have misunderstood your request.

Can you please share a screenshot of "Authorization" tab from postman ? Alternatively, if you are logged in to the site via browser and then hit the url- https://iasp-jira2.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/user/search?query=suhas.umesh@accenture.com, it will work if you have the permissions.
-
Thank you for confirming @Somik Mukherjee Can you please share screenshot of an issue having those fields with values and the rest api endpoint you are using ?
-
Hi @Tony Montana Go to Project settings > Customer permissions to choose who can raise requests in your service desk and who your customers can share requests with. The Customers who aren't in an organization can't share request. Refer this page for more details. Alternatively, the Permission Scheme can be adjusted so that…

Hi @Somik Mukherjee Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Are there any values mapped to the fields you are searching for ? If no, can try adding values to those fields and then perform a GET ?
-
For me its working fine. Do you have the "Browse users and groups" global permission?
-
Hi @Arti Ashok Agarwal Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Can you try below in your browser first and see if that works ? https://iasp-jira2.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/user/search?query=atul.kumar.k.singh@accenture.com I think you have added single quote in value field in postman, that might be causing the issue.

Hi @Cristiano Almeida Welcome to the Atlassian Community! I have escalated this thread to the Atlassian Community Support Team for their attention.

Hi @Juan Wang You might be using same field configuration for all issue types. You can try below to create a separate field configuration for Bug issue type in your project - * Create a field configuration eg: "MyProjectBugFieldConfiguration", then make 'Testing Environment' field required in it. * Create a new field…

Hi @Ayush Lawania In this case you will need grant a User (agent) product role to all the users if you want them to work on the issues.
-
You will have to use below smart value to set the value for the chosen field. {{initiator.displayName}}
-
Hi @BKT Helpdesk Through the automation rule, are you updating the same field or any other ? Can you please share a screenshot of the rule details ? In my example, I used a separate field (Affected hardware), and it only captures the person's name who approved the request.
-
Hi @BKT Helpdesk Thank you for your patience. It appears that the approvers name is not captured by Jira in any field. You'll need to set up a new custom field or utilize an existing text field and fill it through an automation rule when an issue is approved. Please refer steps on this thread ,even I tried it and it works…

Hi @Romeo Bollen It appears that the format may not be correct. You can try below: {{now.convertToTimeZone("Europe/Rome").format("yyyy-MM-dd")}}
-
Thank you for the screenshots @BKT Helpdesk, can you please confirm the field types of "Approvers" and "Issue Solver" custom field. I am currently attempting to validate whether we are encountering the scenario described in this discussion thread.
-
Hi @Manoj Achieving this may require modifications to the underlying code, although it is not recommended. It is advisable to raise a ticket with the Atlassian Support team to explore the possibility of achieving this through code changes.
-
Hi @Manoj Unfortunately, it is not possible to add new fields in the initial create issue screen where you select the Project and Issue Type. The fields that are configured on the screen will only be displayed once you click the Next button.
-
If you don't mind can you please share a screenshot of a request which is approved by someone? I am interested to know by whom it is approved ? and what is the type of the custom field (eg: user/group picker)
-
You are right @Trudy P Claspill , updatedBy() function is the best choice here.
-
Hi @Manoj You will have to add "Due Date" field in Create Issue screen. Please refer this link to know how you can add fields to your Jira project's screens. Furthermore, it is important to ensure that the "Due Date" field is also present on the View/Edit screen. Otherwise, you will not be able to modify it after its…

Hi @BKT Helpdesk Are you trying to list down the names of approvers who have approved the requests ? If yes, you can use below JQL - "Approvals[Approvals]" = approved() Example -

Hi @Sunilkumar k By design it is not possible to have the same issue type with different names in different projects. You will have to create 2 separate Issue types for your use case.
