Hi @Natalia_Kovalchuk_SaaSJet_ , thanks for the detailed breakdown of where GDPR risks can surface in Jira, especially around historical data. The point about deleted or edited content still existing in history is easy to overlook and really important for compliance teams.

Hey @Lucas_DevSamurai_ , Great roundup — thanks for putting this together! If anyone here is using Microsoft 365, we built Out of Office Sync for Jira to automatically sync Outlook out-of-office events into Jira so availability is always up to date without extra leave requests or manual tracking. Sharing in case it helps…

Hi @Rob Hean , my bad. I might have mixed this up with the draft/pending changes behavior on regular pages. Sounds like Live Docs don’t have that issue since everything’s auto-published, which honestly makes them even better for meetings and brainstorming.
-
Hi @Mahima_miniOrange Great post! Dormant users are definitely one of the most underestimated security risks in Confluence. This is where combining automated user management with actual usage tracking can be very helpful. Tools like Viewtracker - Analytics for Confluence add another layer by showing how users interact with…

This is a super helpful breakdown, @Rob Hean thanks for sharing! I love the idea of Live Docs for meetings and brainstorming; it seems like a great way to keep everyone in sync in real time. I can definitely see myself using them for team retrospectives too, especially for remote teams. One question: do you have tips for…

hey @Yuri Lapin _Release Management_ I like how this approach keeps estimation fast without skipping the important conversations around scope, dependencies, and trade-offs, especially across teams. The reference board feels like a good balance between rigor and pragmatism.

Really strong piece! The idea of “helpful becoming habitual” really resonated. I’m seeing the same pattern where AI output becomes the default instead of a starting point, and ownership quietly fades. This ties closely to something I wrote recently about scaling automation in Atlassian without losing human judgment and…

Hello there, as promised, here are the survey results on which non-Atlassian tools you integrate most with Jira and Confluence. Based on your responses, here is the breakdown: * Microsoft 365: 44% * Slack/Teams: 22% * GitHub/GitLab: 22% * Google Workspace: 0% * Other (not specified): 11% It’s clear that Microsoft 365 is…

@Mariia_Domska_SaaSJet I really like this perspective on balancing flexibility with control. The focus on Forge-native security and governance is especially important for enterprise teams that need customization without introducing shadow tools or increasing data risk.

Congrats to all! What a great community :)

Hi @Natalia_Kovalchuk_SaaSJet_ , this article is a great reminder that deleted data isn’t always gone in Jira! Scanning work item history is key for security and compliance. Love the practical approach!
-
@Patricia Modispacher _K15t_ Oof, guilty of #3 more times than I’d like to admit 😅 Copying an old page feels faster in the moment, but you’re right, it quietly creates chaos over time. Updating the template instead of fighting it is such an underrated productivity win. Thanks for this well-written post.

@Iryna Komarnitska_SaaSJet_ Love this approach! Making sprint reports leader-ready by focusing on progress, risk, and next actions really resonates. Definitely a shift from reporting for compliance to reporting for decision-making!

Last year, I created monthly and quarterly reports in Confluence using graphs made with Rovo to help teams digest and understand data more easily. I also leveraged Atlassian Intelligence to provide leadership with bite-sized summaries, making it much easier to spot trends and make informed decisions.
-
Thanks for starting this discussion, @Roshan kumar ! In Confluence, we’re exploring Atlassian AI and Rovo for summarizing long pages, generating draft content for documentation, and suggesting relevant links or templates to improve knowledge sharing. Excited to see how others are using it!
-
@Björn Brynjar - Smart Guess Really clear breakdown! This is exactly the kind of insight teams need. Time-in-status data is only useful if you dig into patterns and root causes, not just track numbers. Love how you emphasize using metrics to improve the process instead of pointing fingers, which makes retrospectives more…

Thanks for breaking this down so clearly @Liam Do - DevSamurai ! As a Marketplace partner, it’s really helpful to understand how these search improvements work and what they mean for app discoverability.

Hi @Dr_ Ankita Mehta-OpsHub_ Inc , excellent overview of how to choose the right Jira Cloud migration approach based on real-world complexity and downtime constraints. The focus on data fidelity and operational continuity is essential. For anyone looking to structure the overall journey, I also shared 'The 6 Phases of a…

Hello there! Thanks everyone for participating! 🙌 As usual, here are the results of the poll. They show that the biggest value of Confluence is as a central knowledge base (69%). This is followed by project documentation (15%), with collaboration & feedback (8%) and compliance/audit trails (8%) also getting a shout-out.…

@Anand Inamdar_Amoeboids This really resonates: most teams don’t have a documentation problem, they have a ‘nobody ever sees the good stuff’ problem. We’ve had the same experience: tons of useful pages quietly disappearing into the archive after day one. Adding a discovery layer like Chirp makes a ton of sense, and pairing…

Really solid breakdown of where the real AI risk lives. It’s refreshing to see the conversation shift from ‘what if the model hallucinates?’ to the much bigger issue of permission sprawl and connector creep. The reminder that AI doesn’t leak data—it just makes your existing leaks easier to find—hits hard. The scorecard…

Hey @Iryna Komarnitska_SaaSJet_ , I liked this! Finally a take on standups that isn’t about adding more rituals. The focus on where time actually piles up (and who’s silently overloaded) feels way more real than the usual ‘everyone share updates.’ The bits on churn and entrance dates especially clicked. Would love to hear…

Hi @Mariia_Domska_SaaSJet Great article! Thank you. It really captures why Forge is such a game-changer for both users and vendors. At Communardo Products, we’ve already started migrating our apps to Forge and are seeing firsthand the benefits. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds within the Atlassian ecosystem!

Hey Community! 👋 Thanks to everyone who participated in our poll about the importance of 3rd-party Marketplace apps in your daily workflow. The results are conclusive: 83% of respondents consider Marketplace apps to be Essential—they simply can’t work without them! This shows how crucial the 3rd-party ecosystem is to…

Hi @David Nickell Thanks for sharing this! The breakdowns by the install trends and growth/decline are really insightful. It’s helpful to see how plugin popularity is shifting over time.
-
Hi @Alina Kurinna _SaaSJet_ Great breakdown. It’s a good reminder that SLAs only add value when they’re measurable in real workflows—not just documented. The practical examples here make a huge difference.
-
@Huwen Arnone _Deiser_Devoteam_ Great tips on syncing budgets in Jira! Centralizing data and clear ownership really reduce confusion. Automated alerts for budget variances could make real-time decisions even easier. I'd be curious to see examples of this in action.

Hi @Teodora V _Warsaw Dynamics_ try this link: Atlassian Support I can see it as an option in the drop down menu.

Hi @Marketing Team _Softgrown_ can you share the guidelines of Atlassian's Partner Spotlight initiative?

Hello! As promised, here are the results: * 33% of participants don’t trust Atlassian AI results, * 25% have privacy concerns, * and another 25% feel they don’t need AI in their workflow. Interestingly, only 8% found the AI features unhelpful. This suggests that while AI has potential value, trust and privacy are still…
