Hi Andreas, What about using a REST API to achieve this? The following one (using the POST method) allows specifying the reviewers: /rest/api/1.0/projects/{projectKey}/repos/{repositorySlug}/pull-requests See the REST end point documentation here. Caterina

Hi Jorge, Welcome here! You can upgrade directly from Stash 3.10.2 to the latest Bitbucket version. There is no specific upgrade path. Make sure you have a look at the Migrate server.xml customizations to bitbucket.properties page to update the SSL/proxy/port settings. Cheers, Caterina

Hi Brad, You will be able to edit any text files (including the ".gitingore" ones). The feature is only available starting from Bitbucket 4.13 while version 4.5.2 is currently installed in your environment. You'll need to upgrade or ask an administrator to do so to be able to use this feature. Cheers, Caterina

Hi Haani, The short answer is that the backup only needs to be triggered from one node. All required data will be included in the backup and collected from that node in the cluster. Here some more details. Even if the configuration of the backup requires the path to the Bitbucket Home directory (BITBUCKET_HOME), this does…

Hi Brad, The in-line file editing is enabled by default and has been added as part of Bitbucket Server 4.13 (see related release notes). Which version of Bitbucket Server are you using? Maybe it is not working on a specific file type. Which file are you trying to edit? You can find it in the footer of the Bitbucket Server…

Hi Nicolaj, The delete rest end point requires the ref to be specified as part of the input request, not in the URL itself. If you expand the "Example request representations", you'll get an example json file: { "name": "refs/heads/my-branch", "dryRun": false} Add this to your request to provide the input file:…

Hi Marton, I've just tried this with the latest version of Bitbucket Server (download link) and when I create a new project, the "Default Permission" are showing "No access". The rest endpoint returns the following (as expected): {"permitted":false} If I then change it to read, I get {"permitted":true} Could you try to…

Hi Paramanand, The only mandatory parameter in the rest end point you shared is the path one. By adding it, only the comments on the file specified through the path will be returned. @Felix replied to a similar question in this thread and suggested to use the activities end point instead: Activity items include comments,…

Hi Matt, Can you confirm that you have access to the repository and the Bitbucket Server instance? I see that you are able to clone via HTTP, are there any record of the request in the access logs when performing the request via ssh? Are any other commands via ssh available? Is the 7999 port reachable from the workstation…

Hi Yael, I would recommend raising a ticket with the Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com/contact/) so that our team can review all details of the installation and provide an analysis. The team will also need the Git local client log and a Support Zip: * Turn debug and profiling log * Enable Git debug log…

Hi Yael, The first items to check are the resources of the server (CPU / MEM) against the Supported Platforms. Also, the Git version (on the server and on the clients) will be an important factor to consider. If you are running Bitbucket Server on Windows, have a look at the Git push operations extremely slow on…

Hi Antony, At the moment, this feature is not available in Bitbucket Server and we have an open feature request here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-4586 For sure you could use the REST APIs to retrieve and create the data (e.g. this is the Pull request end point and this is the comment one). You can always import…

Hi Michael, Pull requests are not visible when anonymously accessing a project or repository with public access enabled. If this is something you would like to see in the product, you can add a comment to the https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BSERV-4672 request explaining your use case and how this feature would be used. A…

What @daniele_carcasole says is correct, see also the following article: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/BitbucketServerKB/Bitbucket+Server+installer+fails+to+run+with+java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError%3A+java.awt.Container
-
Correct, there is a limit of 10 linked JIRA issues and, as of today, this is the expected behaviour. This limit cannot be overwritten.

Hi Leo, Could it be that you were referring to the Bitbucket Cloud documentation for notifications (available on the manage email notifications page)? If you are using Bitbucket Server, the Bitbucket Server notifications page provides more details. At the moment, it is true that Bitbucket Server does not provide the…

Hi George, Do you know if this is a Bitbucket Server (self-hosted) installation or if this is Bitbucket Cloud (hosted by Atlassian and available at bitbucket.org)? In case this is a Bitbucket Server installation, you may be interested in checking the following open feature request available on our public facing suggestion…

Hi Balbir, As mentioned on the FishEye folder layout page, the $FISHEYE_INST\var\cache folder contains the caches and the indexes used by FishEye and Crucible. This folder cannot be deleted without loosing data. Also, it's consistency with the status of the database is crucial for the correct behaviour of the application…

Hi Mike, yes, the behaviour will be the same in 3.10. Your users are managed by JIRA, so you cannot remove them from within FishEye otherwise you may remove the user for the other applications as well.

Hi Shelli, The behaviour you are describing is a change that has been introduced with FishEye/Crucible 4.0 and the new user management. There is an open improvement request to change the behaviour back to the previous one: * https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/FE-6522 * this change requires a change in Crowd (which is…

We will then be able to help you further on the support case. Thanks, Caterina - Atlassian…
