Hi @Kerstin Stäheli, I am not 100% sure about the default Confluence PDF export. However in Scroll PDF Exporter you can easily configure new PDF layout in an intuitive template editor. This editor support inserting so called placeholders which are resolved during export. There are placeholders for all kind of dates and…

Hi @scranthony, Have you restarted Confluence after re-configuring the confluence.cfg.xml? This file is only read on startup, so modifications won't take effect just reloading. Best, Tobias

Hi @Vishal , Confluence bundled macros are limited to a single space. However if you are also fine using the full search and some CQL you can provide a link to your search action e.g. YOUR_CONFLUENCE_BASE_URL/dosearchsite.action?cql=space.category%20in%20("test") will preconfigure the full search to only search in spaces…

Hi @Nick, The short answer is NO you can't. I am not sure if there is a long answer at all... this is just the way Confluence stores the information. The API is already very powerful, e.g. storage is just one of the available viewing options, however all of them return a single value. Best, Tobias

Hi @Mika Nuotio, I recently had the same issue. In my case the problem was the browser I used. Firefox and Safari did not work. Eventually Chrome did the job :) Best, Tobias

Hi @Gaj Umapathy, the best approach is to do it on the proxy level as you just mentioned. You might want to consider a redirect instead to the "not permitted action". Additionally you could hide the web-item using css: li[data-web-item-key="export"] { display: none; } Best, Tobias

Hi @Aoife Corbett, If you added the docx using drag-and-drop you get the litte thumbnail in the editor. This will always be exported as an placeholder image no matter which PDF exporter you are using (Default Confluence or the more advanced Scroll PDF exporter). However if you use the 'Office Word' macro the document is…

Hi @[deleted], You can either add a global or a space stylesheet. In my Confluence version the following style / CSS did the job: #main #main-header { top: 41px !important; background-color: white !important; z-index: 99999 !important; } Best, Tobias

Hi @Stewart Walker, If your Confluence instance uses collaborative editing (which is the default) you just need to edit the corresponding page and press "Update". This will publish the shared draft - all edits no matter who did them will be published. You should always check what has changed before publishing the page.…

Hi @Emma Wakeling, Please note that this answer only applies to Confluence server not Confluence cloud. Basically you can link to any URI scheme supported by your browser. So what does this mean? To link to a file on a local drive the file URI scheme can be used. You either use file:///path or file://hostname/path as link…

Hi @Swathi Sainadh, The SPARK framework allows you to integrate any single-page-app no matter if you use Angular or React into Confluence. I use it a lot e.g. for space admin or global admin UIs as well as for custom xwork actions. To get support (also asking for some updated docs) please use official forum at…

Hi @George Mogilevsky, please refer to my answer above. Using the anchor macro solves all issues :) Best, Tobias

Hi @Vishal Raut, Both pages and attachments are versioned contents in Confluence. However you are right these are not linked to each other. If you restore a page from the history it just reverts the page content. Links to attachments or images embedded still point to the latest version of the corresponding attachment.…

Hi @Thorsten Schmitt, Have you already had a look into the 'atlassian-conlfuence.log' file located in your Confluence home directory. And also additionally checked the 'Network' tab in your browsers console? One or the other should point you to the issue. Best, Tobias

When the save button is closed in the form, then it needs to stay open (i.e. where the cursor is located), What do you mean?

Hi, due to some re-org in Jira the new ticket is https://k15t.jira.com/browse/EXP-870 As far as I know this will be shipped in one of the next versions. Best, Tobias

Hi @Emily Kern, If you want to script it using REST API, you could use POST /rest/api/content?status=current&expand=body.storage with the body set to: {"type":"page","title":"Wikimarkup Page", "space":{"key":"YOURSPACEKEY"},"body":{"storage":{"value":"*bold* -strikethrough-","representation": "wiki"}}}' doing so my example…

Hi Nathan, If you already managed to get it running on the IP using port 80 and your context path it is most likely not a Confluence/Tomcat configuration issue but a proxy or domain name mapping issues. Have you double checked that after changing server.xml to port 80 you got rid of the ports in rhymecraft.conf as well?…

Hi @Yvette Sanders, I was not aware of this limit and do not know a workaround in the UI. However if you know some more details about the version you are looking for you could use the REST API to query for older versions.... GET /rest/api/content/2523138?status=historical&version=1 The above query will return the…

Hi @Roberto Osegueda, In a vanilla Confluence two users with exactly the same permissions should have the same visibility of search results and order. It looks like explain.action (was not aware of this action at all) uses either v2 or v3 search depending on some dark features. Nevertheless it is consistent for all users.…

In JavaScript the SessionStorage is different from a "session" in Confluence/Tomcat/Java. The SessionStorage is terminated by closing the corresponding tab or browser window (or as I did clearing it inside the code). Best, Tobias

Welcome @Danelle Bailey :) Are you also using Sketch or InVision in your daily work? If yes you might want to search for these terms on the Atlassian Marketplace to find some apps which make working with all these tools in the Atlassian ecosystem even better. Best, Tobias

Hi @Jonno Katahanas, This is awesome! I expect a lot of customers taking this opportunity. I guess that Atlassian Platinum Solution Partners are not supposed to signup, right? Best, Tobias

Just to make sure I really implemented what you were looking for: * when you use the keyboard shortcut ALT+E in page view the current location of your screen Y position is saved (not the mouse cursor) * the editor is opened as usual at top position (no scrolling here) * after save you return to the page view which is then…

Hi @Bastian Stehmann, You won't find any documentation on this as no public API exists. However there is some experimental API which can be used on your own risk (may break in future versions of Confluence). I was testing these commands with Confluence 6.14-m77 but the API is there since 5.10. To explore the experimental…

Hi @Motti Tadmor, This issue is most likely related to the same-origin policy. My gut feeling is that the old server was configured differently - e.g. CORS was enabled / setup. You can check if this is the issue by checking the network tab of your browsers console. You should see the iframe request failing with a reason.…

Hi @vlad, Can you give some example - maybe using a screenshot for both a printed/exported document with the TOC and the one you see in Confluence? Best, Tobias

Hi @MT, I recently developed something similar on one of our 'Häcketse' events. For sure this is not in a state which can be used/shared but illustrates some ideas I had. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cG11Z7z6SiIoXZ4ECiG-HgSgkJwSoOXQ/view?usp=sharing I would love to discuss your requirements further with you to learn…
