  • Hi all, we are currently rolling out a way to resize the right hand side details panel in the new issue view. The change should reach all customers by next week. Cheers Liron
  • Hi all, just to let you know that the fix for this has been rolled out to 50% of customers already. The other 50% will be rolled out ASAP, we had to pause due to an incident that happened elsewhere. Stay up to date by following this ticket https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-72713
  • @Rob Sammons - Hi and thanks for your comment. I just wanted to explain that the reason for this new discussion thread is that this one has threaded replies possible which makes it easier to respond and hold the conversation. Also we wanted to summarise the FAQs in one place for everyone's benefit. It is by no means a way…
  • Thanks all for shedding a light on this (excuse the pun ;) ). I'm going to take it to the team on dark mode to check and get back to you. @[deleted] - I hear you about the compartmentalisation, definitely a valid problem we should assess. Thank you for raising it, we should have a think about the workarounds there.
  • Hi Joe, thanks for your comment. May I understand further what you mean regarding dark mode working "seamlessly with the system level settings" ? Are you referring to how dark mode will be turned on/off or whether or not we will support dark mode in settings/admin areas? Thanks Liron
  • Justin @Justin (I hope I'm tagging the right Justin...) " If you're intentionally removing features from iOS then you aren't properly supporting the platform. " Just in response to the above , to clarify - no, we are not intentionally removing features from iOS. What we mean is that a mobile app is never going to be…
  • @maik.hummel Hi Maik, thanks for your comment. The web version also provides the ability to individually clear notifications and to ‘mark all as read’ as well. Additionally it is possible to only view the unread notifications. Please let us know if there is something else you are looking for and we can pass it on to the…
  • @Herbert Hrowal Thanks for your comment Herb. Our product team is heavily investing in delivering a faster experience, and that is a big reason why we are sunsetting the app. In the last year we’ve accomplished several performance improvements like viewing issues 1.5x faster, creating issues and loading dashboards at 2x…
  • @Majid Hussain Majid thanks for sharing your feedback. We continue to build new features for our iOS and Android Apps for Jira Software, Jira Service Management and Confluence. If there is a particular feature you would like to see please let us know!
  • @Clark Everson Thanks for the reflection Clark. To your point, the Jira for Mac and our iOS App share the same codebase. However, there are some intentional differences between the web and the iOS app that we would need to keep. This is because of the different ways they are used. It is this that makes it challenging for…
  • Thanks, am finding out about this for you!
  • Hi there, The work we are currently doing around merging Opsgenie incident capabilities with JSM incident capabilities are going to solve your first question, this is coming within a couple of months so stay tuned. As for the other questions I am going to refer to my colleagues to answer. Thanks! Liron
  • Hi there, This is on our radar to look at later this financial year but we do not have a concrete plan laid out in terms of timing and exact design yet.
  • Hi , Jason already answered most of this but just chiming in for missing bits: as for (2): No current plans, but it is on our watch list. We will be evaluating this in the coming quarters. (3) As part of bundling Opsgenie within JSM we are going to be incorporating more and more Opsgenie features as native in the JSM…
  • * We know that we have an opportunity to do something great as it comes to service catalog management. One of our biggest initiatives for this financial year is in this area. We are planning to have several releases in the future to help solve this problem more and more, one bit at a time. Stay tuned! * Atlassian recently…
  • We are working hard on the ThinkTilt/Proforma integration and this functionality will come as part of native JSM in the coming months. The plan for the integration means that JSM customers will be able to configure forms to their request types easily and as part of request type configuration process. We will announce the…
  • Hi there, One of the biggest initiatives we are starting up right now is tackling this exact problem of configuration complexity. The ideal would be that a customer would not need to go through all of the areas you mentioned. We are striving to enable as much simple straight forward configuration in the project level. If…
  • Hi there, * I am not aware of any plans in this area, although workflow + automation should probably solve this. If youre able to provide more detail to help me answer this would love to hear it. * We are working hard on the ThinkTilt/Proforma integration and this functionality will come as part of native JSM in the coming…
  • * Yes, we are actively working on better integration between Opsgenie and Jira Service Management parts of the product. The first thing we are going to release in the coming months is around consolidating the Incident object across the two, which will unlock many capability benefits as well. Following that, we expect to…
  • Hi Hanna, which button are you referring to?
  • Hi there, What Kat said is correct. The limit refers to 'major incidents' only and it is a per month limit. JSM Incidents are without a limit. Should you have any other questions to do with incident management please let me know, Liron Product manager, JSM Cloud
  • ah ha! so yes your instance was a nextgen only instance! That's what I thought. Great ! Let me know how you go with the ITSM template :) Liron
  • That is strange, are you sure those are not next gen projects only ? and that you are indeed the site admin right? Perhaps a ticket with support to solve this one. Totally strange.
  • Could you click on the app switcher at the top left and click on Jira Service Management? Then try to create a new Jira Service Management project? Liron
  • No, you would need to add it. It looks like you only have Jira Core on your instance. Please go to Site Administration, and look for the menu item on the left hand side nav titled 'Discover applications'. Then choose Jira Service Management and add it from there. Let me know if this helps? Liron
  • Hi Noa, The different templates have different out of the box settings which includes workflows, queues, request types, etc. These are all change-able but just get you to a good starting spot depending on your use case. The new ITSM template is slightly different in that it actually has added functionalities that the other…
  • Makes sense. I've reached out to the team working on this and I believe this is in the works! So good news. Thanks again, Liron
  • Hi Rodney, In your first screenshot, where there's only 'Business' project types, that means you don't have JSM on that instance. Hope this helps, Liron
  • Hi there, Liron here from the JSM product team. This is a great question. Further reporting in knowledge base is important and interesting for us to explore in the future. It would be helpful to find out from you if there are other key data/insights you would wish to retrieve from the knowledge base usage going forward?…
