So many tree threads. I guess there are essentially TREE pages for this (including this page), right? Love how the pages BRANCH naturally from this page. Okay, I'll see myself out. 🍃
-
@Jack Brickey - When in doubt, start from the top?[1] [1] Looks like the Community API is returning the thread results from newest to oldest. So the newest should be easier to remember the conversation. 🤣

I'm not crying, you're crying! This is sweet, thank you for making this @Darryl Lee ! Sending Kudos your way 🙌

I’m at an Atlassian Community Event in NYC right now and just learned about this group! I’m sad it took me nine months to find out about it, but glad to be here. 💪
-
@Bill Sheboy - wait, is there a Level 11? 🤣
-
@Darryl Lee - thanks for putting this together. I'm also affected by this system behavior, and it's frustrating. In terms of luck, so far no one has spawned a Cloud instance out of malice (i.e. trying to work around my team), and it has all been accidental. I voted up the JAC requests that directly affect my team/company,…

Necroposting here since (1) @Matt Doar asked about Jira Admin Day 😉and (2) I strangely never saw this article until now. Happy ALMOST Jira Admin Appreciation Month! 🙌 p.s. Of course, there are many Jira Admin Appreciation Day posts on Community, this is just one I never clicked "Like" on 🌳🌳🌳

Ahh, that makes sense! I totally misread the bullet as something else 🤣
-
@Shawn Doyle - ReleaseTEAM - the more ReleaseTEAMmates here, the better! 💪 Welcome! 🙏
-
👋 Welcome @Jordi Aguera Martinez ! How did you hear about this group? What Atlassian products are you using?
-
@Karen N - try logging into https://ace.atlassian.com and clicking your profile pic (upper-right) then check "My RSVPs" - if you see your registration info there, you should be good to go!
-
@Srini Chakravarthy - hi Srini! 👋 How long are you collecting feedback for?
-
@Sherri - hi Sherri! 👋 Have you requested an Atlassian Community license yet? If no, check out this page: https://www.atlassian.com/software/views/community-license-request#/

@Peter Van de Voorde - love your retro t-shirt! 🐦

Is reading a hobby? 🤔 If so, I'm trying to restart my reading habit, and failing. * I have an e-reader, and half the time I don't pack it when I leave my home. * I put an e-reader widget on my phone's home screen to remind me about the book I'm not reading.

How in the world did I miss this article? I'm doing this now for a Jira instance and I can say that b33r makes it even more enjoyable. 🍻
-
@Andy Gladstone - adding the RSVP link for this for you 😉 All - RSVP today! https://ace.atlassian.com/events/details/atlassian-new-york-presents-project-management-craft-meetup/

Looking forward to the answer! I haven't personally been in this situation. Also, CLOUD-10325 makes me sad. 😢
-
See y’all there!
-
Thanks for putting this together @Sushant Verma ! Would love to see this info presented in a side-by-side table - I think it'd be more clear on the differences between the two platforms. p.s. Consider lowercasing "JIRA" to "Jira"? Jira hasn't been capitalized in Atlassian marketing materials since Fall 2017 😉

Piling on what Darryl is saying. 💯
-
@Peter Van de Voorde - you're always welcome! I vouch for you 🙏 (Sadly I'm unable to be there!)
-
Excellent! 💪

Does this field contain data? If it does, it should appear on your View screen. If not, click Edit and try to set the value first. (I’m guessing this is a field that is part of a testing suite, like Xray?)
-
@Darin - Opus Guard - publishing an article has my vote! Would love to learn more. 🙌
-
That's a solid example image @Shawn Doyle - ReleaseTEAM ! 🙂😬🙂 Agree with including a Child Pages macro on each "folder" page. Besides the Child Pages macro, I typically include a brief explanation (1-2 sentences) to explain why the folder exists and what content should be (or not be) in that folder.

It’s definitely not a super active Discord server. I’m biased, but Atlassian Community gets the most engagement from questions, and the Jira subreddit(1) is a distant second place. (1) Ah, the days when Reddit was a real destination. 🥲

@Michael Zhao - have ScriptRunner? It gives you custom JQL functions that may be useful for your needs. There's a ScriptRunner JQL AI helper that can give you ideas: https://docs.adaptavist.com/sr4js/latest/features/jql-functions#sr-jql-ai

@Eric Gagnon - you rock for sharing, and for the detailed replies. Sent you Kudos! Because who doesn't need more virtual karma! 🙌
-
@kwarms - the link shared in the previous comment didn't work for me. 🥲
