Hold on with my previous comments - You can import the space from admin section, not the space admin section; screenshot you've provided here - you need to have text files in the directory, it will read those text file and convert into confluence pages of the space. 

Also, kindly check the account running the confluence - is that the confluence users or root or other user, also check if the the folder have read/write permission. Anyhow, I would say that it would be export.zip.
