@Michael Augustin I don't think you will able to export that field directly. Jira only renders the progress as a visual component in the UI. CSV exports don't convert that visual component into a numeric percentage or value. The field is not a native numerical field in the issue schema - it’s kinda derived. As a workaround…

Wow, that looks cool!

A great adventure you had over there guys!
-
Great job everyone! Thank you @PJ Zaiac!

Hi everyone, it's been a while since we released the first version of Universal report for Report Builder! Check our latest video on how the things are now!

Hi @Mathew Lederman in addition to @Tomislav Tobijas answer, I may recommend this https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Product-Discovery-articles/Introducing-the-Atlassian-Product-Discovery-handbook/ba-p/2836165 thread. It contains a link to JPD handbook. We ourselves used its PDF version - very helpful. Regards, Rustem

Hi @Chris Ellis , Some bad news: Jira’s out-of-the-box JQL does not let you directly compare the date/time an issue was flagged against further status changes. It's becasue JQL can filter on fields in their current state (Flagged = Impediment) or query historical states with the WAS operator, but it does not allow you to…
-
Hi @Philip Abdalla IMHO, the best way to get the statuses would be to use JIRA REST API to get the changelog https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v3/api-group-issues/#api-rest-api-3-issue-issueidorkey-changelog-get API described above returns a paginated list of all changelogs for an issue sorted by…

Hi @Natalie Keane It depends on what the "best" means for a certain organisation. Tempo has a list of comprehensive features indeed: time tracking, resource management, budgeting, and reporting. However, depending on your needs you may need more simple app (or even use a standard Jira time tracking with any free tools to…

Efficient Documentation = Better Teams - so true!

@Rob Mkrtchian _CAIAT_US_ thanks for raising this topic! As a marketplace vendor representative, I can add that we often search for test users through freelance websites. We offer one-time jobs to people who match our target audience to test our apps. I find this method quite effective

Removing blocks and breaking silos is a thing for Remote Teams, thanks for the article! In my Team people work with up to 10 hours time difference, so it's hard to keep regular communication through meetings and calls. We found it's absolutely cool to use Confluence Whiteboards for both formal and informal collaboration…

Expands and tabs are really powerful, even without rest of the visualisation capabilities, will try to apply for our KB. Thanks for the guide, @Patricia Modispacher _k15t_ !

Hi @Rikke Mohn Unfortunately, you can not create a chart to compare both values out of the box. What you could do is use Issues inspector (or filters) or list view to select issues and the fields you mentioned like shown below in a table format And to create a report with chart that shows how logged time and story point…
-
Hi @Edward Mossa, If you need a report exactly in a format you provided in a screenshot, then no built-in Jira gadget or report will able to show it that customised format, unfortunately. If you are open for a marketplace solution, then as a product owner for Report…
-
Hi @Nicole Radle Thanks! "My work overview" is not a 2-dimensional gadget, unfortunately. That's our own thing (we do really wanted to have 2 metrics to be seen at the same time for many dimensions). But you can imitate the same using two 2-dimensional gadgets, I believe. Regards, Rustem
-
@Kate thanks for the brilliant template! We have been using a similar template (mostly based on our own Report Builder tool and Jira native tools, the screenshot from non-prod instance is below for reference) for quite some time. In our setup, "current user" topics are all in the left column, while the right column is…

Thanks @Mahanth Prudhvi P ! Feel free to reach me for any help on how to configure Report Builder directly or through Actonic Support portal. Report Builder also directly works with Jira API, so i can provide you a ready-to-use custom report based on APIs for your needs if necessary. Regards, Rustem
-
Hi @Mahanth Prudhvi P , There are multiple way you may achieve that kind of reporting, actually. I will outline few options here: 1. As correctly mentioned by @Madhu_RVS you may use Jira API to get the data. I would suggest your team members agree on some naming convention to log their time, so that you could easily group…
-
Hi @manish jangir, Indeed creating such a report using Jira built-in reports is hardly possible. I do also assume you are using some customer fields to calculate "story points done" and "story points" in Hours, which makes things little bit more complex. If you are open to marketplace solutions, I may propose you a Report…

@Scott Farquhar thanks for being an exciting and motivating co-creator of the ecosystem for millions of people to use daily! I hope you will keep showing up during Atlassian events with some news and insights to enrich Atlassian universe with whatever you will bring from your new journeys!

Hi @Haseeb Khan Thanks for question! As I am not sure if you are trying to resolve a general enquiry, or you a questions specifically about Actonic Report Builder, I'll try to provide info on both topics. 1. General reporting: You may create your own Jira Filter to select issues with specific labels. To do so follow these…

Thanks @Delfino Rosales! I hope people from the Community will find the script useful. I do really enjoy working with JIRA API using python and pandas, and I think more people should try it out xD Thanks for promoting it!
-
Hi @Delfino Rosales Really cool script, thanks! I absolutely love the approach, and implementation! I noticed one point point to improve the performance. It looked that script is gathering all issues for a specific project regardless of time limit. I tested it on a big instance with a project including 2000+ issues, and it…

Dear @Claire Corradi you are always welcome! Regards, Rustem
-
Hello @Claire Corradi Assuming you use JSM or some custom "Category" fields to sort your requests, I think you may achieve this easily combining Jira Filters and Issues statistics gadget. Step 1: create and save Jira filter as shown below Step 2: Use issue statistics gadget to show the pivoted data: Hope this helps!…

Thanks for the article! Is there any examples or templates for a feedback forms in confluence you may recommend?
-
Hi @alexander.wanger, It depends on whether you want to achieve that using only Jira native tools, or you are open to marketplace solutions since, unfortunately, out of the box, JSM has limited native cross-project reporting features. You can create dashboards that pull in gadgets from multiple projects, allowing you to…
-
@Marina Laysha I don't think anyone achieved that with built-in functionality for the two dimensional chart, as it does not support Date fields. I tried it several times without success. You can create a custom label field (or select list field, but instead of filling it in with automation you will need to match it's…

@Katarzyna Kornaga [Deviniti] thanks for the article! Easy to follow guide for ones starting with Requirement Management is what's always needed. I have a questions about requirements validation. I see the materials are illustrated with Requirements and Test Management for Jira app. Is it possible to set any status (or…
