Hi @Thibaut Subra _Elements_ Thank you. I'll definitely check this solution. But I'm looking for a way around that the inhouse jira solution provides before integration third-party app/plugins.
-
Thank You for your response. But I'm looking for an in-house solution provided by JQL and Automation. Also I think I figured something our on my own. I'll provably write an article about it here in the community.

Hi @Mikael Sandberg I started using JSM a month ago. So far I've setup a Change Management process for my company. @Orit H We could do something with Jira Automation * Get the list of subtasks from JQL * Lookup issues gets the parent story * Then again use that lookup issues to get the parent with the condition Has Parent display {{lookupIssues.keys}} Please give it a shot. I have so far fetched ticket under an Epic. But I'm yet to…

Oh I see @Eswar Tucha. Will your automation capture the following scenario? "I estimated a ticket would take 5 hours to complete. Then the team members logged their hours in their respective sub-tasks. It happen to be a total of 4.5hrs." Shouldn't we capture that and update the original estimate? Or log the total effort…

Hi @Eswar Tucha I don't have the answer for this question. But my curiosiry is on the change request here. Can you please share the Use Case of such requirement and what you want to achieve out of this? I've so far been able to implement the following: * Updating the sum of Total Story Points under an EPIC, * Total Story…

I'm not there yet. So Far one of my automation creates a set of sub-tasks whenever a new story is created. Than my second automation assigns the sub-tasks to the one who transitions the ticket from To Do to In Progress. Now anytime someone creates a ticket it will be assigned to them and creates a set of sub-task. Then the…

@Pooja Goudappanour Can you please share the screenshot of the automation rule? I've implemented something similar and its working. I've made a rule to increment BackToDeveloper count by 1 whenever a story transitions from any status to "BackToDeveloeper" or ToDo One thing to consider here is if you wont find your desired…
