The new "skills" that are available in Chat also seem to be rather skill sets than single skills. In addition, Rovo Chat will just randomly use the internal tools like Val said. All very confusing and inconsistent if you ask me.

Thank you @Dr Valeri Colon _Connect Centric_ as always. You are the glue that keeps it all together! Glad to see I've still made it despite my PTO ;)

Hi @Satbir have you used a private Emailadress to register and setup the Cloud Organization? In order to avoid abuse of Rovo credits, there is a limitation on sites that are tied to public emails like gmail. See the purple box on Rovo usage allowance | Rovo | Atlassian Support You need to use a company/custom domain.
-
In that case you don't need Rovo and probably not even Atlassian. Check out Slack Workflows: https://slack.com/help/articles/17542172840595-Build-a-workflow--Create-a-workflow-in-Slack Or, if you really want to trigger it from Atlassian, use Jira or Confluence Automations and follows the instructions on…
-
Hi @tdouhi - welcome to the Community, apart from Rovo Search, which (for Jira and Confluence) is accessible through Rovo MCP, no Rovo feature can be accessed programmatically as of now. The workaround would be to use Automation rules. You can create an Automation that is triggered per Webhook. Call a very generic Agent…
-
I see. Let me try to get some expertise on this... @Jensen Fleming, is there any way to trigger the exact tools via the Agent? They are not skills in the library.
-
Do you need the message to be different everytime, based on live information? You can use Slack Workflows to send scheduled messages to Channels. If you need Rovo to access information from Slack in order to "write" the message first, you need to setup the Slack Connector for Rovo: Connect Slack to Rovo | Atlassian Support…

Hi @Giuseppe Torraco sorry for the late answer. Atlassian is a little behind on the whole Orchestration thing. Simple and out of the box: Scenarios One Agent can have mutiple Scenarios, each with different prompts and actions. The Agent switches the scenarios based on the triggers. Note: Apparently they are renaming it to…

I second @Arkadiusz Wroblewski I don't really see a reason in using the MCP vs. just using the regular API. If your Enrichment Layer is not an LLM but a deterministic piece of Software that uses the AI outputs of the LLM layer, you can just use the normal API. That way, you can definitely just use a Service Account (that…

Hi @Martin Cassidy Rovo Chat uses different LLMs than Rovo Agents. Also, the default behaviour for Chat is now that Rovo chooses its own way of "reasoning". There are three modes Compare Rovo Chat reasoning modes | Rovo | Atlassian Support Depending on the question, Rovo Chat will run in either of these modes. Rovo Agents…

Hi @Mario I don't quite understand what you are trying to achieve. You want to trigger a Rovo Agent based on a time frame and it's supposed to do stuff in Slack? Agents can only be triggered automatically via Automation. That can be Jira Automation or Confluence Automation. You can have scheduled Automation rules in both.…

Hi @Jonas Nilsson _ Unitlane yes! I've not tested whether Service Accounts come up in the normal User APIs but would think that they are not part of those lists. So any jobs that use the regular "list users" function and check for activity should be fine. I feel like that is one reason for Service Accounts: to not have…
-
Hi @Angelica Pauli - welcome to the Community, without knowing the specific setup, I'd say limiting each Service Account to only one or a few spaces, adds a certain level of Security. Even if a Token is compromised, they will only have access to those limited spaces (if the token scope allows it). If you had one Service…
-
Hi @Caleb Olson - welcome to the Community, I haven't heard of anything around that but found a feature request for rotating API Tokens: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ID-807. I've just added a comment there and you can too, to raise urgency :)
-
Thank you @Dr Valeri Colon _Connect Centric_ for keeping this community organised and chiming in whenever you're expertise is needed!

Sorry - i meant context from your Confluence like the specific template page, page hierarchies etc. I understand the overall issue but to really debug it, you will have to go through your prompt and check which part is confusing Rovo. Re-creating a template 100% will probably never work, escpecially with Spacing etc. but…
-
I thought about replicating the Agent on my site to see where the issue is but that is quite difficult without all the right context. Maybe you already went that way but I'd suggest * Chunking the Agent into all the single tasks * and testing those tasks on their own That way you can figure out which task is the…
-
Okay - assuming that one Linked page is an actual published page... Rather than instructing to create a new page and following the structure of the template.. could you copy that template page and have Rovo fill out the details? In general, it looks like a lot of work went into that prompt. Sometimes less is more with…
-
Are you linking to other Confluence pages that serve as template or are you linking to an actual template?
-
Hi @jefferson_ulloa could you provide more of the configuration you already got? Behaviour, scenarios, skills etc. I don't know of any limits that would stop a Rovo Agent from working like you described
-
you can leave it, just make sure to adhere to the Guidelines in the future :)
-
If it's related, post it here. If it's a different topic, post it as a new question. if it's posted in Rovo I'll take a look at it today :)
-
Hi @Flaubert TAGU please check out the Rules of engagement - Atlassian Community Necro posting is against the Community rules and so posting advertisment for an App without providing knowledge outside of that. As Marketplace Partner, there are more guidelines to adhere to which you can find here: Atlassian Partners - Rules…

The Gmail address is the problem then. You need to use a custom domain as your billing contact for the Organisation. Atlassian wants to avoid abuse of the free credits and is therefore limiting Rovo features to company accounts.
-
Hi @Mario- welcome to the Community. Does the Agent have access to the new Skill "Create Request"? It is still in Beta but can create basic Customer Requests like the customer would through the Portal. Using that skill would replace a custom integration with the API.
-
Hi @John Ginn You can only pin Data Residency. Rovo MCP doesn't really save data. It's just a gateway to Atlassian's API. The Apps accessed still reside whereever you pinned them. Rovo itself can be pinned to a region, but the LLMs used are mostly hosted in the US (OpenAi etc.). So: Data in Transit/Data processing is not…

It is available to most Standard customers as well although Rollout is not yet fully completed according to some site admins.
-
Hi @Armen Gevorgyan * What license do you have? Free, Standard, Premium? * What email adress have you used to create/bill the Organisation? there is a restriction on accounts like gmail.com (check purple box on Rovo usage quota | Rovo | Atlassian Support) * Are Rovo's AI features enabled for Confluence and Jira?…
-
That makes so much sense. I keep forgetting about the weird direct access for Rovo. I believe that only works for documents where - the link is provided directly to Rovo - or that the user has previously opened/seen through Atlassian Might be wrong here.
-
Hi @Laura Campbell_Seibert I don't think you need to apply. All my sites could be opted in in the Confluence settings. I've got a couple sandboxes where it was activated straight away and I had some smaller sites changed over to Role based access. The only issue I am seeing is that some permissions require others. e.g. if…
