Hi @Dan Miller You can using a relatively unknown trick with Trello automation. It supports regex If you are unaware of Regex, these 2 resources will explain it. This explains it: https://www.regular-expressions.info/quickstart.html This is where you can test your regex: https://regex101.com/ For what you are trying to do…

Hi @jrudin Did you know, when you copy a card, it resets the checklists and removes all the comments so you have a clean card? You want to use copy card instead of move... This means your process can be when the due date hits, achive the card and then create a copy in the incomplete list This automation will do it. I added…

Hi @Simone Griggs If you are using Card Repeater power-up, it is a little bit confusing. When you set the recurrence in card repeater, at the recurrence frequency you set, it is going to create a copy of the master card every time. It will keep doing so until you disable it. The Card Repeater will only create duplicate…

Hi @Jason U I appreciate your willingness and desire to help folk on here but if you are going to use AI to generate your answer, at least be sure to check that it is correct. Option 1. It is not a viable answer to the question. Using template cards is totally different from adding checklists to existing cards Option 2.…
-
Hi @Karie , Please disregard @Jason U AI paste-job as it is incorrect. AI is really rubbish with Trello knowledge and gets it wrong 90% of the time. Thats where a human like me can step in 😀 The above Option 1 is not really addressing what you want and there is no Trello automation rule to do option 2 There are a couple of…

As a Trello consultant, I'd say over the years it is about 70/30 split in favour of not using shortcuts but that 30% who have learned them are way more efficient as a result. I couldn't live without the keyboard shortcuts.
-
Very exciting, but this seems to disable all of the shortcuts. I must use F for filter 100 times a day. Please remove "c" for archive, it is insane that this exists. It does say in the article that it disables them.... I agree with the "c" for archive, although archive is reversible, it would make more sense for the…

Hi @Dave Meyer I love the accountability and transparency of this. Kudos to you... Rolling back is a strong move. After all, "what is the purpose of having a mind if you can't change it" I do have a couple of questions (mostly out of pure curiosity) * Was any prerequisite work carried out prior to the development…

Hi @Nate Reinar Windwood This is quite a niche request. Being perfectly honest, I put the chances of this happening at <1%

Hi @MF_BOT Am I right in saying you are using an external tool to create a card in list "Unito Move" from your Google Sheet? If so.... I suspect it is because when you are creating the card, the fields populate after card creation. The Trello automation is triggering on card being added to list "Unito Move" and it is…

Hi @Aaron Cole Welcome. This article may help: https://trello.com/guide/activate-views#board-view Also my mate @Brittany Joiner has some hand YouTube vid's that can help you. Start with this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ino396S61Ec

Hi @Ryan Sadly not, its ridiculous really. You can at least vote for this request, for what it's worth... https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-844 I have shifted a lot of my automations outside of Trello now and use Make, Zapier or n8n Pro's: * Much much faster * You can control the sequencing better, compared to the…

Hi @Jean Carlos Sadly this is something that was missed by Trello when they added the checklist automation features. It seems logical in automation that anything you can do, you should be able to do the reverse. However, Trello often plays by different rules 😂 This can absolutely be done with a tool outside of Trello. If…

Hi @Billie May I can see from your screenshot that those items are checklist items with a due date. Labels are at a card level. I hope this handy drawing will help:
-
Hi @Peter HARLOVIC Simple answer. No It is one of the most common bits of feedback to be able to move/minimize this menu so maybe the product team will take note... You can also vote and comment on this feature request... https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/TRELLO-1303
-
Thats a great feature request, this is possible in other tools and would be an Excellent option for Trello @Caity @Alexandros Mathopoulos @Alex

Hi @Gilberto Francisco de Oliveira Welcome. On Trello, they don't need to be added to the board to create it in their own account. You can turn the board into a template and set the visibility to "Public". This handy guide will help you: https://support.atlassian.com/trello/docs/creating-template-boards/
-
HI @Kaarle Ritvanen My best advice would be to take out a premium trial of Trello and then contact support: The process is horrible. Atlassian support portal is terrible, if Jira Service management is is the best on the market, what has society become?! You have to work around it by following these steps: * Go to…

Hi @Graber Chiropractic Deletes the card or archives it?

Hi @Dion Halkides Scheduled automations can be used but they are typically more of a bulk action. The other option is called a due date automation. If a due date is set on a card, you can set that card to move X days before the date is due. You can find more information here:…
-
Hi @Mohammed Dawood 2 things come to mind. * Does the board have a lot of card (>1000)? If so, it can cause some issues with Trello being slow * Is it possible there is an automation moving it back?
-
Hi @Ephraim Stock Package tracker is a great little power-up but I can see that it has changed. You're right it has changed. I can confirm what you said as attachments. I can also see that if I add items through the power-up, they just show as a link in the package tracker power-up section, without the progress bar like…

Hi @Dree Char Unfortunately that is not a feature that exists now or is likely to be one Trello introduce. Can I recommend checking out Swimlanes for Trello power-up as an alternative?
-
Hi @Tori Baker The global search returns archived cards across your entire workspace. https://trello.com/search?q=is:closed If this doesn't work for you, you can contemplate the idea of using automation to move cards to an Archive board, instead of archiving the cards. This enables them to be visible and easily accessible…
-
Hi @Heather Lueck - Client Care Team This is a tricky one to work out because Trello doesn't allow setting the date in a checklist from a custom field value on another card. A workaround can involve having a custom field on your Client Care Team Board which is used to 'transfer' the date to the checklist. For the example…

Hi @Vinicius Araujo You have been tagged you as a free user, apologies if this is not the case. In truth, if more people had paid for Trello over the years, it is feasible that we wouldn't be where we are today. I'm not pointing fingers at you, I understand that many can't afford to pay for tools like Trello. Trello has…

@eily_koren You can always search giphy, download them and then upload to Trello as custom stickers. It works, its just less convenient

Hi @[deleted] You have to use Due Date automations for this to work. Here is a simple video about due date automations. If you still can't work it out, come back and I'll do a step by step guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jtrkSAjmz8
