Great idea @Amanda Barber! I was sent this one around the Christmas Holidays and I think it's a reminder everyone needs every so often!

I would say that it depends on what Atlassian Products you are using, but your next best steps are likely either: * Jira Software Essentials * Confluence Essentials

Congratulations @Karim Chadil! Which certification are you planning to complete next?
-
@Roman Tretiakov be very careful about unsolicited advertisement! This is not a question asking for help and no one else in the comments has asked for alternatives.

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone! @Dirk Ronsmans I think they may have relaxed some of the rules about what is in the room. While I don't have anything hanging on the walls. I'm surrounded by the kids toys: @Robert Wen_Cprime_ I don't have any pets (anymore) but I always make sure to book the exams while the kids…

@Kristján Geir Mathiesen Happy Early Birthday to your Wife! Yikes @Stephen_Lugton sorry to hear that, but at the same time, I'm glad you are using the time to do something cool with your daughter. Personally, my wife and I have never been huge on Valentine's Day. One traditional I have maintained since we were first dating…

Congratulations @Esther Strom! It takes a ton of work to reach this achievement!
-
Thank for sharing the Community round up @Chris Shernaman! We have no shortage of topics to cover this year. We upgraded to Enterprise near the end of the year and we have plenty of requests from our users for better understanding of some Marketplace apps we have recently purchased.

I agree with @Dave LIAO those shots are absolutely stunning! I have not been able to make my way to China, but it looks fantastic. I actually moved back to my hometown this past summer after having been away for close to 20 years. It was amazing to see how many things had changed and how some of the things are exactly the…

Hey @Kai Krause! I'll give you one for each: PRO: Depending on the work you do, if you need to find your own clients, they may see the fact that you have the DC certifications as a differentiator over someone else looking for their business. CON: If you have already earned the Cloud counter part versions, the DC versions…

Thanks @Jesse Wu! I'm pretty sure I have recently participated in other sessions related to this area so I'll leave this open for others to participate. But, I really appreciate that you are taking customers thoughts and opinions into the design of these features.

I collected so many things as a kid (and I still do today as an adult :D). I think a couple of my largest collections were Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters and POGs.
-
Congratulations @Hana Kučerová! This is an amazing accomplishment!
-
@Andy Gladstone while I was working on the next Welcome Wednesday post, I went down a rabbit hole that I think would make for a great Miscellaneous Monday! Can you put me in the next free spot? Thank you!
-
Congratulations @John Funk! This is a HUGE accomplishment! Way to go!
-
Hey @Becky Mueller! I'm not going to call it a new year's resolution, but a personal goal for 2025. There are 3 Certifications I need to complete: * Atlassian Cloud Foundations - which I passed last week! * Jira Software Essentials * Jira Software Board Configuration Finishing the remaining two will complete my…

I'm running a free personal instance, and I can see it as a feature in a Team-Managed Software project: That might be where it's exposed in Jira Cloud.
-
Hey @Noah Leu! Glad you are here! I think you very nicely summed up why we are all here. Can't wait to see some of your future posts!
-
@Tomislav Tobijas yes I did pass! In fact that was the last exam I needed to earn the ITSM specialist designation. I'm looking at the Agile & DevOps one next!
-
Like @Dan Breyen, I think my first was slot track racers. However, my favorite was at my first job when I worked in customer support. Later at night, things weren't always busy and a few of us bought some remote/computer controlled foam missile launchers!
-
Thanks for the reminder @Ree Kent! However, I made sure I was good until 2026 back in October ;)
-
The former Atlassian Certified Expert designation did in fact earn you a zip-up jacket. However, that has since been retired and I don't believe you get a jacket for the new designations. But, you do get an extremely cool selection of swag items instead.

Sorry, sometimes I miss notifications. Yes that would be correct.
-
Couldn't agree with you more @Sarp Egemen! Same goes for the in person training. Having the opportunity to hear the answers to questions asked by other participants (some of which I had not thought to ask myself) was extremely valuable in earning my first certification!

Most people know that I'm always involved in Extra Life supporting the local Children's hospital. I was very pleased with how things turned out this past year. Next year, I plan to be even more involved with the local guild to try and make more events possible for people to participate in during the year.

Merry Christmas!

Happy Birthday to your brother! I think some of the interactions others will find weird are the ones that we share with our siblings. To this day, my sister and I have specific movie quotes that either one of us will announce to the other when entering a room that will cause us both to start laughing hysterically, and…

I grew up with an advent wreath as well. We also had advent calendars, which was a simple 24 panel package with a small chocolate behind each panel starting on December 1st and going all the way to the 24th.

Great post @Patricia Modispacher _k15t_! One thing that our team does is stand up is booked for about 30 minutes and as people join the call, there a natural "social time" that is allowed to continue for the first half of the meeting. There is no specific topic. * Sometimes we're venting about dogs waking up in the middle…

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends south of the border!
