Hey @Adriano Silveira You can achieve this by creating Query based swimlanes! Go to Configure Board through the ... on the top right of your board view, then navigate to "Swimlanes" on the left menu. Here you need to create the queries for your swimlanes, anything that doesn't match a query will go into a swimlane called…

Hey @kaiyao Jira software requires users to be licensed and have access to the project to be able to be assigned issues. * Check that you have invited the user and they have accepted the invite. Note that you will only get a bill once you reach your 11th user. https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/pricing * Go to your…

Hey @Anitha Lakshmanan If you are using Jira Cloud then you are using the "only" version available - production. Certain features get rolled out in batches as they're developed/released, but there are no direct "versions" for you to choose from in Cloud.

Hey @Alex Correct, by default in JSM customers can ONLY see their own requests. They can share to others (based on your sharing settings), as an example, you can make it so they can only share to users that have a profile (e.g. their peers that have logged in as well), and they can only share to organizations they are a…
-
Hi @Alex This is standard operation for when you work with Organizations within JSM! Here are some configuration notes: * Everything on Organizations* Adding Users Manually * Adding users based on their email domain* Original idea request * Issue sharing settings for customers Note that you cannot restrict your Agents from…
-
Hey @Rathnayake, Malshani For this you'll want to use the "Filter Results" gadget on your dashboard.
-
Hey @SH , This is due to the fact that special characters are not stored in the index: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/search-syntax-for-text-fields-939938747.html#Searchsyntaxfortextfields-escapingSpecialcharacters You won't be able to search for them. I'd suggest you re-identify them and use a label…

Hi @Laxmi Swamy Can I recommend something a bit simpler? Rather than putting the code directly into the JSON, use more of the visual aspects to create automation flows. Here is what I would do for your solution. * Trigger: Whatever you desire * Condition: IF ELSE* IF Condition: Issue fields condition* Field: customfield_1…

Hi @Nuraddin Malikov Via the link you screenshot there. That will take you to their contact site and you want to go through the sales & billing route.
-
Hey @Nuraddin Malikov That would be the correct step to take - contacting the sales team as they can assist with setting up your billing profile and invoicing.
-
@Nicolas Grossi - Yeah it's an unusual configuration of the product, but I'm sure it exists for some legacy reason 😂
-
Hey @Michael Woffenden You could try checking out the "Issue Collector" feature of the projects in Jira - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-the-issue-collector/ This does require you to be able to inject the Javascript on the page, but may also work via a Firefox plugin that loads custom JS…
-
Hey @Nicolas Grossi - I see the screenshot of the automation below in reply to you; nothing is being modified in that current automation, but it looks like it's possibly firing BEFORE his prioritisation automation. The separate action is required as when the automation starts it loads the data into "local memory" for quick…
-
Hey @Michael Bray This comes down to when the issue data is retrieved by the automation. If you're modifying values and then sending the email, you're still looking at the original data set retrieved - confusing, right?! Before you send the email insert an action called Re-fetch issue data, that will solve your problem :)
-
This is far more elegant than mine @Vikrant Yadav ! And uses less automation executions... I may need to update some of my own in my environment 🙃
-
Hey @Ishita Avinash This will require a bit of automation rule creation, let's go through it. Some basics: * All automation rules involved below must be able to be triggered by other rules, you can turn this flag on in the "Rule Details" section * I assume you have a label called "IT" or "DevOps" for the purposes of this,…
-
Hey @Pieter Van Der Merwe Can I recommend a slight adjustment to your approach? I would recommend creating another status after your completed status that indicates the closure of the ticket - for the purposes of this exercise I'll call the completed status "Complete" and the closed status "Closed". * Update your workflow…
-
Hey @Vincent Leconte This is a great question and you'll need to dive into Automation for this one to work. You can find automations by going to Project Settings > Automation. Here is a basic automation rule that could do this for you: * Trigger: Field value changed* Fields to monitor for changes: Start date, Target end…
-
Hey @Rui Passos You can order your tickets by absolutely any criteria you wish! What you'll want to do is: * Go to the ... in the top right of your board view, then choose "Configure board" * On the General tab you can then find your filter about half-way down the page and click the link "Edit filter query" * By default…

This is such an awesome initiative, I can't wait to see where the next round of trees go AND how many get planted!
-
Hey @MyCloud Admin No worries! So you will need the Request Type & then one of the sharing. For the Organization you can absolutely have it auto-share. Let's go through doing this end-to-end: * Create your organizations and auto-add customers to them:* Create the…
-
Hey Katja, Automation can be a frustrating beast at times! Try giving the below a shot: * Trigger: Scheduled* Run rule every: 1 days * At: 4pm (Your Timezone) * Check the box for "Run a JQL search and execute actions for each issue in the query" * Set your JQL as below, this looks for anything due before midnight tonight…
-
Hey @Natalie Good question - changing the project key is what will update this from KAN-# to something else. You can find this just under the Project Name. Don't forget to click save at the bottom and give it a moment to re-index all your tickets :)
-
@Darryl Lee - Awesome response, and quite elegant in the use of complex operators in the automation. I prefer to keep things more readable (as I do with my programming too). It may be more verbose or a few extra "lines of code", but I find it easier to debug 😂 Always love seeing the more complex and elegant things though!
-
Hey @Arne Henrichsen Have you tried using "Create Variable" action before and performing the "{{issue.Start PI}} - 3" in that action? Then you can refer to the variable as a number by then going {{smartValue.asNumber}} in the .plusDays?
-
Hey @Abdiel Martínez Casas You can find this by navigating to the "Issues" view of your project, then towards the top right you'll see the ... button, in there is Import issues from CSV
-
Searching FedRamp (https://marketplace.fedramp.gov/products) I can see only Trello is, if you search Atlassian it'll show you all products authorized by them. Jira is not in this list.# You can email Atlassian's contact to find out more: fedramp@atlassian.com

Gotta love the smart values @Aaron Pavez _ServiceRocket_ ! Can get super creative with them! The first one is definitely easier to understand, but I do quite like using projects for "visual auditing"... I do the same thing for bulk API calls etc. 😅
-
Hey @Ron Stinson II Unfortunately, you cannot use Organizations in your Jira Cloud (Software/Work Management) projects, only Jira Service Management, as Jira Cloud has no concept of customers or organizations. To solve this you'll need to create a new Custom Field in your Jira Cloud and mirror the organizations in there as…

Hey @Nadege Dates can be tricky.... here's my recommendations. I'd go with option 2 personally! Option 1: IF/ELSE in Automation rule with hard-coded dates try using the condition in your automation of "IF/ELSE" (no need to use the else as you can add all the dates into the conditions of the first IF). I would configure it…
