Hi @dino tinajero, One possible starting point would be to create a Dashboard and add a Created vs Resolved gadget: * https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/create-and-edit-dashboards/ * https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/add-and-customize-gadgets/ *…

Hi @Jira_user200, thanks for the pointer to JRASERVER-64033. You may also want to have a look at: * https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-23821 * https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-59171

Hi @Roman Kvasňa since you mentioned "structure", here's a link to Structure by Tempo. This app allows you to construct an issue hierarchy with a few simple rules based on Epic Links and sub-task links, and generates rollups of estimates and time spent. I did a webinar about how we use it in case that's helpful.…

Glad that helped! This has bitten a lot of people recently (don't ask me how I found out about it :-))
-
@Robb Robins tl;dr * dd/mm/yyyy is interpreted as Day/Minute/Year * if you mean Day/Month/Year, use dd/MM/yyyy.
-
Hi @Jatin Bansal, without understanding your context in detail, one approach is to start with a single project, and if you run into a roadblock that you can't accomplish within a single project, then consider splitting into multiple projects. If you do have multiple projects, you can specify more than one project in your…

Hi @Emre Can Demirbaş, The `assignee = currentUser()` filter, as noted by @Dirk Ronsmans, will show each user only the issues assigned to them, but there's nothing to prevent users from searching for and browsing other issues in the project. You may want to investigate Issue Security Schemes, which may be able to provide…

Hi @Manoj, My understanding of your question is that you want the transition to be restricted to users who have the specific permission. If I understand correctly, then I think you're looking for a "Condition", specifically, the "Permission Condition", and not a "Post Function":

Hi @Lena Sargsyan, are you in a team-managed project? If so, perhaps this is relevant: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Team-managed-projects-articles/Original-time-estimation-comes-to-team-managed-projects-it-s/ba-p/1732980

Hi @Yakov Babich, you could try setting up swimlanes by assignee, as described here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/configure-swimlanes/ HTH, Kel
-
One thing I noticed is that the issue in the screenshot is in project PM, but the board filter is looking for project RXMP.
-
Hi @Lena Sargsyan, Can you see the "Time Tracking" field in the Field Configuration. I think Time Tracking includes the Original Estimate, Remaining Estimate, and Time Spent values. I wish I could find a reference in the documentation to confirm this. HTH, Kel

Hi @Tommy Heyser , Another approach is to use the Structure by Tempo app to implement your Epic -> Feature -> Story -> Subtask issue hierarchy on Jira Cloud Standard. We've defined a custom issue link type we call "contains <-> belongs to" - the parent issue "contains" the child issues - the child issues "belong to" the…

A filter results gadget on a dashboard allows you set the columns once and for all, if that's any help.
-
Alternatively, you could add an "Update Issue Custom Field" post function to the transition to that status.
-
Hi @Katie Pickrell, I think the "Value Field" Condition is what you're looking for. Hope this helps! Kel

Hi @asha_somashekar, A rather crude, brute force approach is to create a separate filter for each member of the team, and then create a dashboard with a filter results gadget for each of these filters. Then you'll see which team members have no assigned tickets. Hopefully someone has a better way of doing this.
-
This will show In Progress issues which are not assigned. The problem that @asha_somashekar is trying to solve is which users have no issues assigned to them, which is not as straightforward.
-
Hi @Daniel Bautista Martínez, try a date format of dd/MM/yy. Jira interprets mm as minutes. This is described in the link @Dave Mathijs posted above.
-
Hi @Ravi Kanth, This is the user community, your issue sounds like you should open a support ticket. Best regards, Kel
-
@Bill Sheboy @Phil Bustin Sorry, I'm not following. I see this: Which, when included yields: I would have thought that was what you were looking for? What'd I miss? Thanks, Kel
-
Hi @Denise Wermager I don't know of a way to do what you're asking, but you can create a new tab in the Description fields area, if that helps. In this Screen, we've added a second tab we've called "Admin": Then you can add fields to your new tab. Hope this helps.
-
Hi @Erik Hinkelmann You could write the following in an advanced issue search: description ~ "\"search phrase\"" See the "contains" operator docs here.
-
Hi @Jeroen Poismans Yup, just wanted to show another option. Thanks! Kel

You can't have double quotes inside a double quoted string. I usually use single quotes if I need to quote something inside a quoted string, e.g.: issuetype = Test AND issueFunction in linkedIssuesOf("project in (a,b) and issuetype = Defect AND status in (New, Open, 'In Progress', 'In Test')")

How big is big? How many people are working on the project? There is no one "right way" to do a "big" project. If you chose to use a single project, there are ways of dividing up the work . One way is to define a custom single select field like "Agile Team" so that you can specify on each ticket which team will be working…
-
Hi @blal jirjawi We have two major products, with several small teams on each product. We've chosen to have one company-managed project for each product. Each team gets their own board. We created a custom single-select field we call "Agile Team", which makes it very easy to filter issues in each project to the board for…

Thanks @Yuliia_Borivets__SaaSJet_, good to know!

Wow! Thanks again @Darryl Lee. I’m going to take some time to digest this and report back.

Thanks @Darryl Lee that sounds pretty hairy alright. Thanks for thinking about it but please don't spend any more time on it.
