I suppose you can use a 3rd party plugin like ScriptRunner to create a calculated custom field and populate it with keys of only open subtasks of the the current issue. What I'm not sure about is if these keys will be rendered as actual links to corresponding issues by Jira. But i guess it won't hurt to try, yes?

Also, even though highly unlikely, your permissions may be configured on the current issue status basis. These permissions override you project permission scheme for a given status. Check your status properties in the current workflow. More info here.
-
You might wanna check your project permissions, specifically what users/groups/roles have the 'Transition issues' permission.
-
Indeed, what Nic said there.
-
Try removing "AND issuetype in standardIssueTypes()"
-
add "and resolution is empty" to your filters.
-
Hi Luda, The schedule defines how often a filter you have subscribed to is run against all your issues and you get email notification if any issues match. For example if you set it run ever hour then it will look for matching issues every hour and notify you via email if any issues are found.

Ok, like I said, If I were to venture a guess I'd say that the problem might be that the user your rule is run as might not have permission to use that very transition or transition issues in general. Can you check which user this rule is configured to run as and then check that this user has sufficient permissions to use…

If this field does have a default value, and as you have said you don't need it, you can try removing it by directly modifying DB record. Make sure you do a backup of your DB before you make any modifications to it. Another solution might be simply deleting this field and making a new one, provided of course that you can…

Hi Margarita, Now that you you know what issues have the status "Done" and no resolution ("unresolved" means that no resolution is set) all you need to do is set a resolution to strike these issues out on your board.
-
If you happen to have 'Automation for Jira' you can use it to create an automation rule that will delete issues with "Server X has backed up successfully" in its 'Summary' or 'Description' fields.
-
Try this JQL: status = "Done" and resolution is empty This will return a list of issues with the "Done" status but no resolution set.
-
Hi Margarita, The issue gets crossed out when a resolution is set for that issue (issue's 'Resolution' field is not empty). That said can you make sure that your issues with "Done" status have a resolution? Cheers.
-
Hi Lindsay, You can notice there's a red exclamation mark icon near your transition. If you hover over it, it should give you an idea what's wrong with your rule. If I were to take a guess, I'd say the problem is that the user from whose name this rule is run does not have the permission to use that transition.

Hi Kaleigh, The obvious solution is to have issue only with labels that reflect the current step. So if your issue is in Step 3 it should only have 'Step 3' label, not all three of them. However I'm not familiar with the specifics of your process, so I'm not sure that this'll work for you. Another approach, if you…

Hi Gabe, I'm afraid Jira can't do that out of the box. To achieve this you'll need a 3rd party plugin. I'd use either ScriptRunner or JMWE. Hope this helps. Cheers.

Hi Dan, Let's check the obvious things first. Can you make sure that: 1) The email, which is supposed to be converted to a comment for an existing issue has that issue key in its subject? 2) The sender of said email is either the reporter of the issue or a request participant?

Hi Josh, Glad I could help. Have a great day! Cheers.

Hi Radim, I assume you would like to edit these emails or, even better, turn them off. Unfortunately you cannot do that. Check this suggestion ticket for more details: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-1708
-
Hi Andrey, Which version of Jira do you have? The problem you are encountering looks very similar to the one described in this ticket: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSWSERVER-11849 And apparently it has been fixed in 7.4.1

Hi Ashish, Unfortunately there is not way you can put all your comment history in your customer notifications. This feature is simply not available our of the box for Jira. However you can use Email This Issue plugin to do it. Among other cool features it allows you to configure custom email templates that can include all…

Hi Muhammet, First off you need to know the IDs of your "Cost" and "Value" fields. To do that go Administration -> Issues -> Custom fields. Select your custom field and click 'Edit'. After that check the URL bar in your browser, it will have something like '/secure/admin/EditCustomField!default.jspa?id=13300'. These last…

No, they don't. You can do the following: 1) Add a temporary transition in your workflow that leads from your 'Closed' status to your 'Closed' status, basically points to itself. 2) Add a post-function to this transition that sets a resolution. 3) Bulk edit the issues that are in 'Closed' status but have not resolution…
-
Hi Josh, The simplest solution that I can see here is to create two different post functions. The first should set the value for your custom field in the parent issue and the second one will transition it. This way by the time the transition kicks off your parent issue will already have a value and thus will pass…

Is it just me or you can achieve this even without any add-ons? Create two transitions with similar names and use "User is in group" or "User in is project role" condition which is available out of the box?
-
Howdy, I think you can also achieve this with 'Automation for Jira' plugin if you happen to have it. Create a scheduled rule that will transition the issue if it meets this JQL: 'your date field' < startOfDay() and status = 'status this transition goes from'
-
Managed to achieve this using JMWE. Cheers for the advice!
