Hi @John Let me try to give you my perspective on this subject, which may clarify things a bit. First I want to fix what I wrongly said before, it is not a bug, but a feature request. Details about the integration with other products were priorly shown in the development panel and later with a feature request, they were…

Hi @Aisha Ali Thank you for attaching the screenshots, they are really helpful to diagnose the issue. Now I think I got what is happening there. First of all, the variable echo bamboo.repository.branch.name is read-only. It is a variable that is now deprecated, still sitting there only for compatibility purposes. I'm not…

Hi @John I'm sorry for the delay. The bug you saw resolved is for Jira server. Jira cloud still has the same issue, unfortunately. This the bug reporting it for Jira cloud is [JRACLOUD-42177] Ability to view Bamboo builds and deployments in JIRA issue navigator. So, in this case, the feature is not available.

Hi @Anthony J. Fiori III I'm sorry! Somehow I missed your last notifications. I'm glad that you were able to fix the problems there. * Can you share the error you get here? * Is the problem happening only when you rerun the build?

Hi @gervaisb, You can build your own message and use the terminal (Script task) to send it based on your environment variables, but you cannot use dynamic addresses for the Bamboo default notification, unfortunately. You will probably find multiple ways to send an email using the terminal. One of them is the Mutt…

Hi @Aisha Ali Bamboo should honor that the first repository of your plan matches the source branch that caused the plan branch creation. That is not the case for any other extra repositories added to the same plan. All others will be automatically set to the default branch in the repository configuration which is usually…

Hi @neha.chauhan A combination of things could cause the scenario you are experiencing there: * Capabilities / Agent dedication A build can be taken by any remote agent with capabilities enough to build it. The agent can be in any machine and therefore the build can happen anywhere. * Is the Agent really working? The agent…

Thank you @Daniel Einars for either posting a new message and also following up with your findings. That will certainly help other customers. See you in the next thread!

I'm glad to help in any way! Have a good one!

Hi @Daniel Einars Do you mind opening a new question for this one? The main topic of this thread is talking about Bamboo and Postgres on docker compose. I just want to keep us organized and also save the time of other users coming here looking for tips related to the main thread.

Hi @Davy HANTZ I see you are new here, welcome to our community! =] According to this message Caused by: java.net.UnknownHostException: d80cbb20f13d I assume the issue is caused by a configuration in the Bamboo broker. Your agent is not capable of resolving the host configured for the broker. An agent has two types of…

Hi @[deleted] Usually, this type of problem is caused by issues involving application links preventing events from Bitbucket to be fired against Bamboo. If the links are properly configured you should be able to see the following messages in your <Bamboo_Home>/logs/atlassian-bamboo.log right after the branch is created on…

I'm glad you could make it work =] Now you can really use the product. I hope you enjoy!

Hi @Subhi Andrews After some discussions with @Douglas Gnoato (from Bitbucket team), we came into a conclusion that the errors you get are not caused by a limitation in Bitbucket to handle parallel requests, but a restriction in Bamboo itself. I was able to reproduce the issue, but I'm still working on troubleshooting it.…

Hi @Daniel Einars I'm not sure what exactly were the connection strings you used before, but the ones below work for me: jdbc:postgresql://<IP_OF_SERVER_HOSTING_CONTAINERS>:5000/bamboo jdbc:postgresql://<CONTAINER_IP>:5432/bamboo Docker networking can be tricky some times. Containers don't know each other by name and…

Hi @colman001 I will need to ask you a couple of questions in order to understand the scenario you are facing there. * Are you able to see the artifact in the build folder right before the task execution? (i) You could create a script task just to list this file prior to the Upload iOS application to HockeyApp task to…
-
Hi @Xavier I afraid Bamboo does not have a specific task for this, but you can still do it using other more general tasks. Suggested steps moving forward: * Make sure you are capable of deploying your reports using CMD or Powershell (I'm assuming you are using Windows) * If the whole thing can be done with just one…

Hi @Ajit Dhongade It does seem that the issue is in caused by an attempt to submit a request with more than 50MB to "https:// .my.salesforce.com/services/Soap/m/45.0/00D6E000000DXEf". I guess the same issue would happen if you submitted it from outside Bamboo. You need to check your build tasks to understand how this…

Hi @Staicy susan mathew The rest API for agents does not have the option to filter a specific agent, but that can be achieved by other tools like JQ (JSON processor). Let me share an example with you where I filter the agent called Walter White: $ curl -u admin:password -X GET http://<BAMBOO_URL>/rest/api/latest/agent | jq…

I don't really know Sentry, what I know is that Sentry seems to expect the local repository to be pointing to the main repository directly. If this is the case, setting the remote should fix the issue or at least move you forward. Let's give it a try and check what happens.

Hi @Bjorn Harvold This is indeed expected behavior. Bamboo does use cache repositories for better scalability. Multiple plans can use the same repository, therefore, saving network bandwidth. There are other reasons for this that I would not be the better person to explain. In the repository advanced configuration, you…

You are welcome!

Hi @[deleted] You can set a different version just for Bamboo. * Go to <BAMBOO_INSTALL>/bin/setenv.sh * Add the following variable exports at the beginning of this file:export JAVA_HOME=<JAVA_JDK_HOME> export JRE_HOME=<JAVA_JDK_HOME>/jre ⚠️ Update <JAVA_JDK_HOME> with the path of your JAVA JDK. I hope it helps.

Hi @[deleted] Can there be a Java version mismatch somehow? Like Bamboo needs a certain Java version but it's accessing an older one? Is there a way to set Java home for Bamboo? I think you already know the answer. I believe you are using an incompatible JAVA version. Possibly a new one, 11. Bamboo needs JDK 8 (1.8). More…

Hi @Sergio Can I disable print second output of code executed? Or maybe disable print executed code at all? Unfortunately, you cannot. The logging feature is configured in the plugin source code and therefore needs to be improved by our developers. I've opened an improvement request to report this: * [BAM-20364] Improve…

Hi @Abhay kumar singh Are you able to build your application using just OSX tools? I mean, outside Bamboo? What I got from your request is that you are experiencing problems to build an OSX app using Bamboo. If you can explain to me what features/tasks you are using and where do you think they are failing I might be able…

Hello @Mil e Uma Caraminholas We were asked to install a SBT plugin so we could enable the SBT build on our pipeline, but we ain't no developers and we don't know for sure what we should do in order to achieve this goal. I will address this at the end of this comment. What is the preferred one? If it's the script like,…
