Hi @AFWARD I see this question is open for some days already and no response from the community itself. From Atlassian support team I don't think we have expertise on Oracle EBS deployment to support you, but we can help you with Bamboo. Can you clarify specifically where are you facing issues to achieve this goal? e.g. *…

You are welcome! I'm glad it helped. =]

Hi @Peisheng Wu Let me share the information I have: I am trying to setup a bamboo server onto EC2 with a full automated process. Therefore, I would like to know where are the configuration files for database connection, system administrator credentials, as well as proxy setup. Bambo does not have a mechanism for…

Hi @[deleted] I don't think Bamboo saves this information anywhere, but you can get it directly from your DB. This is one of the articles you can use (not from Atlassian though): How to Show the Collation of a Database in MySQL. I think the issue you are facing is caused by the missing support for utf8mb4. * [BAM-18703]…

Hi @Pavel Matyska You are always welcome! I really think the best approach is to have the projects self-contained. I didn't insist on this idea because it would probably require a repository refactory (to reduce disk usage). Regarding your idea for an improvement request, I just opened one: * [BAM-20582] Allow conditional…
-
Hi @Pavel Matyska I think the sequence is correct. In my opinion (If I understood you correctly) this scenario is caused by: * Your subsequent projects are not self-contained due to the disk space restriction, requiring that ProjectBase is run every time to compile their code. * Bamboo has no feature for conditionally…

Hi @talleym The user does not need to be a Bamboo instance admin, it just needs to have the Create repository permission from global permissions. Users with that permission can create liked repositories as well as plan repositories. We don't have special permission to create repositories only in the plan area. We have a…

Hi @paulm29 I don't know any plugin used for this, but I don't know a lot of Bamboo plugins anyway. As you already know, Bamboo REST API does not provide such information for tests. In order to help you moving forward, I built the following query that may be useful to you. You might need to adjust it to your purpose, but…

Hi @Michał Szymański Short answer, you should not use docker inside docker. I guess this post answers your question: * Using Docker Runner in Docker-based Bamboo Please check it out and let me know if you still have questions on this matter. What are your suggestions and how do you install Bamboo in your building…

Hi @Hamed Beiranvand I'm not sure if I really understood you from the beginning. About anonymous user, I think it's not a good idea in security perspective because it will enable the public to trigger the plan. It would not be free to everyone. Only the IPs configured in the repository trigger will be able to use the…

Hi @Arkadiusz Krupa Thank you for sharing your findings on this matter. We already have a feature request reporting this: * #13162 - Pipelines for pull requests from forks — Bitbucket Please make sure you vote and watch it. Our project managers will prioritize it according to our Features Policy.

I'm afraid I don't have more options for you. I wish I could give you more tips.
-
You are correct. And considering what you shared, the only option I see now is the direct access to DB: SELECT CONCAT(dvp.plan_key, CONCAT('-',dvp.build_number)) build, dv.plan_branch_name, dv.nameFROM deployment_version dv LEFT JOIN dep_version_planresultkeys dvp ON dv.deployment_version_id = dvp.deployment_version_id I…

Hello @talleym I have an approach that could solve this issue. It is not an elegant solution (a direct rest), but at least It will give you what you need. * Get the <PLAN_KEY> and run the following request:curl -u <USER>:<PASSWORD> \ -X GET -p <BAMBOO_URL>/rest/api/latest/deploy/project/forPlan?planKey=<PLAN-KEY> \ | jq -r…

Hi @Miroslav Shipilov The best channel for this type of question is the https://community.developer.atlassian.com/c/bamboo-development I advise you to raise the same question there.

Hi @eric ward It seems this is an issue with Visual Studio. It is affecting multiple users according to this thread: https://developercommunity.visualstudio.com/content/problem/291761/couldnt-process-file-abcresx-due-to-its-being-in-t.html You should be able to reproduce the same issue from outside Bamboo. I hope the…

Hi jcarpenter@gmcps.com I'm afraid I will need to get your configuration to understand how this is happening. I'm assuming you are talking about deployment release names, can you confirm that? The naming rules for deployment releases are defined in this document: Naming versions for deployment releases - Atlassian…

Hi @Jim Schwarz The Bamboo SCP task does only upload from Bamboo to other servers/locations. There is an old request though to add also the download behavior to it. * [BAM-12230] Add support for downloading artifacts to the working directory via SCP I'm afraid this was not prioritized due to the low number of votes given…

Hi @Don Lausch, I see you opened a ticket with us in our support channel as well. There will a better channel to analyze this type of issue. I would start checking the <Bamboo_Home>/logs/atlassian-bamboo.log to check if there are any error or permission issue there and also check the user repository configuration. It seems…
-
Hi @Pavel Matyska Your description led me to think that things could be configured upsidedown. When I think in dependencies this is the scenario I imagine: * ProjectBase is a library * ProjectA is another library or app that uses what is produced by ProjectBase * ProjectB is another library or app that uses what is…

You are welcome! At least it may save the time of other users reaching this thread. Have a good one!

Hi @Dominic Galasso If I had to investigate this issue I would start with: * checking the path configured for the nunit3 executable, in your server capabilities. * checking if I could run the tests using a script task instead of the Test Runner task The first one will tell us if there is a problem with the path. The second…

Hi @[deleted] You shared that you had about 600 users and the results you got after configuring the page results are really unexpected. I'm sorry that my suggestion got you in trouble. Considering the instability you had I would try to investigate which part of this is caused by the interaction with the LDAP server before…

Hi @jawad_abbasi, As you already know you can have multiple different bitbucket-pipelines.yml files in your repository, one for each branch, but that will bring you the inconvenient situation you are facing now. The easier/recommended approach would be considering all of them the same file, but eventually with different…

Hi @Hyd3k, I'm not sure If I'm following you on this. Can you give me more details or references on what you mean by CyberSecurity? This will help me to look for the information you want.
-
Hi @Asim AlTwaijri, Yes, this is the limit we have now. The reason is better explained in this post: * Solved: Bitbucket deployments limit In that post, you will also see this improvement request: * #18941 - Increase deployment environment limit — Bitbucket I hope that answers your question =]

Awesome! Keep us posted!

Hi @Vasilev, I'm glad you found it and solved the issue =] Have a good one!

Hi @Vasilev, Bitbucket pipelines cache will not help in this case. If you want to save the time required by the git-ftp installation, you will need to update the docker image used and publish it in DockerHub. Later you can use the new image in your pipeline and it will not require the installation steps.
