Yes - that's the design. If you want to skip that second login step, you need to implement SSO.

Dear @[deleted], when I understood you right, you would like to clone prod to test without manual interaction, right? When the following perquisites are fulfilled: * Second server with same configuration (RAM/diskspace/JDK/...) * New DB and its credentials + drivers (JDBC if required) Then * write a script that pulls jira…

Dear @Lester Li, your could set up a second Confluence instance with a starter license and clone the "public" pages with scroll versions plugin to a public open space. So long Thomas
-
But when you login to Confluence as a customer , you can see the article, right?
-
Dear @Dave Varon, as it is cloud and you cannot dig deeper on your own, l suggest to ask the support. So long Thomas
-
Which mails are currently processed successfully? Do they end with atlassian.net?
-
Dear @Rolf Scheuermann, what does mean "can't link"? What's the error message or false behavior? So long Thomas
-
Dear @Dave Varon, cloud works as expected but for Jira server the mails are not converted to issues for users that can log into Jira, right? Where do you pull the mails from? (IMAP/POP) Shared account with cloud? Have you enabled debug logging for the Email servers, to see what happens? So long Thomas
-
Dear @George Kanchev, I need more details to understand your problem: * Does they log in over a jump host? * Can the VPN users access your companies DNS? * Are there Firewalls installed blocking traffic? * What's your network topology? * On which port listens Jira? To answer you other question. Jira works with VPNs - this…

Dear @[deleted], sure you can, this just depends on you technical skills. The changes in the file system (eg. path configurations) could be scripted. The unix patch mechanism is one way of many possible ways. The other changes need to be done in the database. Solution A: Change everything directly with SQL - but Jira…
-
Dear @Support Noser, yes you can. Just create another custom request type and add as many fields you desire. Follow this article for more details. I assume you have JSD Server. So long Thomas
-
Dear @Rajesh Sahoo, This is done with the screen configuration. Have a look at this page. So long Thomas
-
Dear @Rohit Rao, you cannot raise bugs directly. Therefore create a service request at Atlassians Support. If they can reproduce, they will raise one in behalf of you. Or you have a look at https://jira.atlassian.com. Eventually the bug was already created. So long Thomas
-
Dear @Florian Vernet, by adding an automation rule that switches the status. So long Thomas
-
Dear @Jose Q, are the customers login information also stored in AD? If you enable self-sign-in this will not happen due to the fact that in most cases AD access for Jira is read-only. So long Thomas
-
Dear @Jose Q, I guess that this is an issue with the "common user base" of JSD and Confluence. Follow this link to set up the KB successfully. So long Thomas
-
With that plugin you can export the attachments, too.
-
Dear @Andrian Fernandopulle, query all three instances for the list of their projects. Then rebuild you multiple select list on you target instance with "Custom Fields++", which will allow you to set and modify the options of that field. Wrap a cron around rebuilding the options twice a day. So long Thomas
-
Dear @Ravi Vangala, I have validated both Jira Server and Jira Cloud. Your query seems to be correct. You could replace updatedDate with worklogDate. I recommend to contact the plugin vendor, if you problem still exists. So long Thomas
-
Dear @ashleyg, the project configurator is not available for cloud (SaaS). So the export works via Backup Manager, then import this file on a fresh Jira Server - but the same version as the Target DC system. Afterwards extract just the projects you would like to import with the project configurator and import them on DC.…
-
If the data is stored in DC or single system, makes no difference. This is just redundancy but not a different data quality. Set up a single system and import there. Then do the data exchange/merge with the plugin.
-
Ok, but you have shutdown both apps before, or?
-
Dear @Pascal , I can totally understand your frustration. Unfortunately this forum is not for complaint management but for helping the community solve problems or give advice to certain functionality. Please contact the support and make use of the customer feed-back mechanism. Thanks for understanding Thomas
-
But if its local, it would not change for Jira, or? Or do you modify the Jira DB?
-
Dear @ashleyg, I recommend * Export with Backup Manager (Export for Server) * Install backup on fresh Jira Server system * (optional) Manipulate data to your needs (eg. user mapping) * Extract relevant projects with Project Configurator * Import projects with Project Configurator to JDC But anyhow to ensure data integrity…

Dear @John Holdzkom, bad to hear but probably good for others who read this question: Always have a local (internal) admin login as fall-back. This won't help you right now, but for your situation you can follow this article So long Thomas
-
Dear @[deleted], would do this with by querying the issue via REST with expanded history. The event should be listed with an exact timestamp. So long Thomas

Dear @Aamir Saeed, without knowing your configuration, I suggest to read this article. So long Thomas
