Dear @Shal , User the REST endpoint: POST /rest/api/2/issueLink The JSON data looks like this: { "type": { "name": "Duplicate" }, "inwardIssue": { "key": "ABC-13" }, "outwardIssue": { "key": "ABC-7" } } To get all possible link types use GET /rest/api/2/issueLinkType So long Thomas

Dear @Monette Warren , welcome to the community. When you do not want to spend money in add-ons, I can strongly recommend to use the REST API to read 'content' from one confluence and create it in another confluence. Of cause you will need some coding skills (PHP, Python, Java, ...). So long Thomas
-
Dear @julio valdez , have a look at the Recently Created Issues Report. This shows how many issues are created per hour/day/month + how many got resolved. So long Thomas
-
This seems to be very case specific. You will need to do this on your own. Or ask your question again at https://community.developer.atlassian.com/. Probably some groovy script gurus are listening ... So long Thomas

Seems they got just appended. Jira works internal with digit object ids (server). When adding new object the id is just increased, so the output is not sorted but just returned from lower to higher ids. To sort it on Day 2 you need to read + remove existing objects from Jira, add new, sort them and push again to Jira. So…

Dear @Christopher Laurence , unfortunately not. This could probably be done by some (conditioned) post-processing scripts. But just with add-ons / apps. So long Thomas
-
Dear @Bijuanand , you can write for example a PHP script, that searched with the REST API on your Jira and afterwards displays the data in a table shown in the browser. So long Thomas

Dear @Дмитрий Пересекин , there are so many video file formats (codecs plus containers) out there, that nobody can count them. I recommend to download a working and the non-working video. Use on linux the command 'file' to identify what it is. You could also take mplayer or ffmpeg to get more details. This tools will tell…

Dear @Müge Sezer , welcome to the community. I do this with the macro called Insert JIRA Issue/Filter (in the drop-down just 'JIRA'). There you can select a single issue. In the background a link to the issue is created so that page / issue is linked. Is that what you mean? So long Thomas

Just a link for details.
-
Dear @Christopher Laurence , yes you can do, for example with components. Define one for BUG and one for R4J. Add a component owner and configure as default assignee. Then when an issue is created and a component is selected, the issue is somehow "auto-assigned". So long Thomas

Dear @David Harkins , as long as while merging different user directories, the usernames stay same, you do not have to migrate anything. You can test yourself. Create a new user in one AD. Create some issues with this user. Delete the user from AD. Now create the user in internal user directory (or another AD) with exactly…

Dear @xiaozhang , welcome to the community, I would really like to assist you but I don't understand what you mean with Nginx reverse proxy for confluence,But access to Confluence cannot be edited, cannot be created Where do you get errors / warnings? What's the expected behavior? Probably it helps, when you upload a…

Dear @Lakshmi Yaganti , have a look at this article. Eventually you will find some pieces of information to write your own incoming mail handler script. So long Thomas
-
Dear @Daniel Alonso , unfortunately, the cloud rest api has no sort endpoint. Instead you have to do this on your own. When you read the values from JSON response, you can push them in an array. There are a lot of sort function (depending on the language of your code) that then support array sorting. See examples for PHP.…

Dear @Philipp Schmidt , welcome to the community! how can I make sure that I don't lose any data when users log in with LDAP in the future? You won't lose any data adding another user directory. The different user directory are overlaying each other. But the do not overwrite. Let's assume, that you have a user with…

Dear @Brent Walker , welcome to the community. First of alI, there is no built-in report, that burns down hours, because sub-tasks are not taken into account. Eventually the work estimate is aggregated in its parrent issue. On the other hand, I do not see any benefit in such kind of burndowns. Story points are a relative…

Dear @pringadi_synopsys , have a look at the marketpace - there are a couple of apps that can populate configurations from one to another server. So long Thomas
-
Dear @Mikael Ollhage , welcome to the community. Have you tried to login with the browser? Is your account still valid? Was it locked? When the account is from AD (LDAP) it could have expired. So long Thomas
-
Dear @Devlin Kleber , welcome to the community. You have to write some "glue" on your own. Read the audit log with the REST API (GET /rest/api/3/auditing/record) and push it with REST inside Datadog. The script could be triggered by a cron job. So long Thomas

Dear @Sudhanshu Singh Rathore , I connected a Fisheye to a Jira server. Jira itself is connected to Active Directory. Groups from AD can be used in Fisheye. So no need to manage the groups in Jira. If this works for Fisheye, it works for Confluence, too. They are using the same mechanism. In this approach I didn't…
-
Dear @Ashish , when debugging problems, I always send the rest call from script with a REST API browser extension to verify. Have you done this already? I could be an authentication error. It could be a Web Proxy issue. (The traffic of the browser is filtered by a company proxy - on command line request run into the void).…
-
Dear @Paula Cristina Vaz , I had a similar problem in the past (see CONFSERVER-51834). To fix this I read the "ideal" page (template), modified its body and updated another page with the content. I found out, that the ÄPI was adding some extra HTML elements which I didn't add. The bug was closed meanwhile as "obsolete",…

Dear @Dylan Tseng , welcome to the community. Probably this article describes exactly what you were looking for. So long Thomas

Dear @[deleted] , but you have automatic windows updates not deactivated, or? So it is MS managed ;) This could be one reason - but you are right. If this doesn't change within 24h I recomment to open a support ticket at Atlassian. So long Thomas

Dear @Paul Gryfakis , I recommend to figure out. Set it to 5mo, but export the audit log first. If not possible on your productive environment, set up a staging environment with a developers license and check again. So long Thomas

Dear @Matthias Schmidt , welcome to the community. This can have 3 causes: * Account Disabled; the account is not longer valid. Ask your Mail admins to assist. * SMTP Authentication is off: Turn it on. * Wrong username and/or password: check your credentials again. So long Thomas

Dear @David Zhang , welcome to the community. It's possible, that Edge got a policy update (some system settings) that make it react diffrently. As Atlassian is supporting Edge for 100% you can be sure, that they are testing permanenty, if Edge still works. To many users world wide would be affected otherwise. I recomment…

Dear @mdiqbalhassan , I suggest to do the following: * figuring out, what's the difference between the one project and the others * use diffrent credentials * use Postman or another REST API browser extenstion to reproduce the behavior So long Thomas
