Hello @Abhishek Gupta Thank you for your question and welcome to the community. First of all, please make sure that this is something that you want to implement. Resolving issues based on comments can lead to missed comments from customers that might have additional questions. However, if you still want to implement this,…

This is the way to go. Using Assets as user objects and linking them to customer portal accounts, will allow you to get all the information that you need. You can then use automations to extract the Asset information when an issue is created and fill in the required fields and go wild on what you want to do based on that…

Hello all, Just to answer @John Funk 's questions: * How long have you been using Jira products? Still on my first year. * What influenced you to try Jira Work Management? Always interested in finding other Atlassian products and how they might benefit me. * What do you find most intriguing about JWM? To be honest, I am…

It can be a great tool, especially when things are stuck and you need a quick hand from someone. We try to go through the previous day (any trends in the issues coming in? customers that need extra attention, etc), make sure that appointments that can interfere with work are being communicated timely, and any additional…

For me, virtual socializing can never replace in-person socializing. Yes, I do like the occasional coffee chat, but only because it is small and structured. All of the people attending are there because the theme of the chat was interesting to them, and we allow people the time to chime in on the topic. When you want to…

I'm afraid that is not something that the out-of-the-box help center supports. If you need that functionality, you might want to look at Refined or K15t. Those apps can help you customize your portal to look how you want. Just keep in mind, you will lose some functionality (forms and JSM integration) and the sign-up…

In that case, it might be that he is on an Atlassian block list. Can you post the email address or name that is not getting email and hopefully @Andy Heinzer can check (again) if this person is on a block list.

AH, in that case, check the Notification scheme and Customer notifications to see if anything there is preventing him from receiving notifications. Is he the only one that isn't receiving notifications or are other users experiencing the same?
-
Hello @Anna Sike Ah, I see. The reason why you don't see the search bar, is because you are in the project portal and not in the help center. It's confusing, I know. If you click the "Information Centre Requests" you should enter the Help Center home page. The search bar is only shown there. Or, go to…

You are welcome, glad it worked out for you!
-
Hello Anna, When you go to your help center home page, the search bar should be there. Can you share a screenshot of what you are seeing now?
-
Yes, JSM can be quite notification heavy. You can use the notification scheme to reduce some of them, otherwise, I'm afraid it is something you have to deal with.
-
I haven't been around long enough to have a favorite but I do enjoy reading up on some previous posts. Onwards to 200!
-
Hello @hasancansaral You can change that in the Notification scheme of the project or through your Personal settings, of course, the personal settings way is preferred so that your colleagues are still able to receive notifications. Access your personal settings through your profile picture > Personal settings
-
Hello @balaji Have you checked his personal settings for the notification settings? Profile picture top right > Personal Settings

Do you mean article suggestions when people are filling in a request? If you do, then yes! You can limit the articles that are suggested by limiting the articles based on labels. Go to Project Settings > Knowledge base and assign the labels to the different request types If that is not what you mean, please elaborate so I…

Good to hear! If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to post them to the community. Take care!

Hello @hasancansaral Good to hear that the transition is now working. The easiest way to clear the resolution is to, once again, edit your workflow. Select the transition > Select Post Functions on the right > add a post function > Clear Field Value > Select Resolution That way, whenever the transition is used, the…

In JSM, there is no real parent - child connection. Issues are just linked together. So, this will go both ways and can be manged by type of link, type of transition or some other restraints that you choose to put in place before performing the action.

I am sorry, it looks like I was mistaken. The search bar actually searches request types as well. I have just tried it out in our own environment and was pleasantly surprised that it showed request types as well. It does limit the search results as well, but the search term needs to be specific. But still, customers can…

Yes, the portal is your customers gateway to Confluence articles and filing requests from the project portal. Unfortunately, you cannot search for request types. If you want to make it easier for your customers to find the correct request type, you can work with portal groups. There you can combine several related requests…

The leader report pointed me here and this series seems to be just what I need, curious to see what it brings. No matter what, thank you for sharing your story!
-
Hello @Michele Bazzani Sure thing! The search bar searches through all articles in the Confluence spaces that are connected to your JSM instance. If you haven't connected any spaces, then you will see no results. Here is how you can link…

Hello @hasancansaral This sounds like your workflow does not allow a transition from Resolved, Closed or Canceled, back to Waiting for Support. Could you share a screenshot of your workflow diagram? In addition, it might be that the properties of the Resolved, Closed or Canceled issues, prevent you from editing the issue.…

Hello @admin-nwalter It sure is! What you are looking for is an automation that triggers on a status change and then, for every linked issue, copies the value of the parent. Something like this should do the trick. Of course, change the field to copy (use the three dot button to change from set to copy). Is this what you…
-
I would try to make it a text field. If you want to keep the User picker field, then you have to change the data that you are putting into it. Most likely {{assignee}} should work

@mjcline0910 There are so many tools out there, especially if you are also looking outside the Atlassian eco system. One thing that never leaves my side though, is a notebook and pen.
-
@Will Fieldsend Good to hear it helped. And yes, the community is great. It brought me a lot! Enjoy the rest of your day.

There are two subscriptions that are never doubted: * Apple Music. Even with the recent price increase, I get a ton of value out of it. If I have to purchase every single album I add to my library, I would have to pay a lot more * MyFitnessPal. Tracking what I eat helps me understand food better and shows me how it impacts…

Making mistakes is a big part of learning and there should be a culture where people feel free to share they made a mistake. I rather have an employee admit a mistake, and share it with the team so that we can all learn from it, than an employee who tries to hide mistakes. In the end, it will always come out, and most…
