Howdy everyone! I'm Larry Brock - Atlassian enthusiast, outdoor sports fan, and Community Champion. Atlassian enthusiast is the truth - I worked with Jira Software, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, and Crowd for several years and had so much fun that I joined Praecipio Consulting in Austin as a Sr. Technical Architect in…

Hi @Ruslan Karimov, Here's an excerpt from this thread: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlassian-Access-questions/Delete-account/qaq-p/229160 which may answer your question: If you want your personal data erased, do not delete your Atlassian Account yet. Instead, make a General Inquiry so we can locate everything that…

Ahh, that's right. This was posted in the Columbus Group space so it's not treated as a question. An admin or Champion could move it to a question space but there's a bug and the "Accept Answer" button still wouldn't show up so I'll just leave this right here. Glad you found our info helpful - I know I can speak for…

Hello @Elaine_Reece! I'll second the welcome from @Kimberly Deal _Columbus ACE_ - we're glad you're here (and we have cookies!). :-) Those are some great answers from @Kimberly Deal _Columbus ACE_ and I'll throw a few more observations in here: 1. Training comes in any forms and if you're looking for webinars, Atlassian…

Woohoo - welcome post published this morning and we're up to 3 members!

@Shelley_Smith-Woods- I'm not back down there until the week of the AUG meeting. Depending on start time, maybe we can meet for dinner near the meeting site and then head over to the meeting. Thoughts?

Just to follow up a little on @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-'s answer - the Jira Service Desk install is inclusive of the Core product so it's just one install to get up and running. Also, the JSD license includes use of Jira Core so no additional licensing is required. Hope these answers are helpful. If so, please consider…

Hi @Aleksey Shchukin! Your question might be best-answered by Atlassian Support so I'm tagging them in as well as providing the link to their portal. Community is generally run by volunteers not employed by Atlassian so we really don't have roadmap info other than an occasional sneak peek at a new Community feature. Hope…

Was just noticing this myself. I'm going to post about this question in a channel frequented by Atlassian Community staff to see if they can take a look at it. Glad to know I'm not the only one that doesn't see the "Accept Answer" buttons.

Thanks for the clarification @Tomek-SoftwarePlant! I wasn't where I could much research but I knew one of the SoftwarePlant products would do the trick. Cheers, Larry Brock

I've not dealt with the new UI very much but I'd expect the config change to show up in either UI. This is and has been a basic function for as far back as I've been using Jira (v3.x) so I can't imagine it wouldn't work for the new UI.

Hello @Darren, While native Jira doesn't support the number of organizing layers you desire, there are add-ons that may let you do so and/or improve the flow through adoption of Scaled Agile practices. Portfolio for Jira BigPicture Enterprise Structure Hope this information helps and if so, please consider clicking the…

Hello and welcome @Monica Rivera! In addition to the method @Jakub Hanak mentioned above, if your issue is being displayed on a sprint or kanban board, you should be able to drag and drop your issue on the column of the appropriate status. In both cases, there may be a pop-up window with fields that need to be completed in…

Hi @Nikita King! There's no native function in Jira for retrospectives and Atlassian does, as @pAKoSTevE noted, suggest using Confluence for retrospective documentation. It appears, however, there are a few add-ons that address retrospectives:…

My view is changes with some frequency but right now, it's frequently of this little root-top green space in downtown Houston.

Hi @Kate Nunes! The combination of a looping transition and a set of conditions may be your answer. The looping transition _not_ require all fields all be complete in order to execute and update the issue files while returning to the original state. One condition can keep the "move to next stage" transition button hidden…

Hi @Natalia Herrick - The nFeed add-on allows you to configure the contents of a single or multi-select dropdown with database or directory query results. This would allow you to make a query to populate a selection list of potential sponsors from which an acutal could be selected. Hope this helps! If so, please consider…

Hello @Grigor Tashchyan! Once the field is created and configured, one needs to add it to the screens where it's needed. First let me direct you to this page which shows many relationships involving screens, fields, and schemes:…

Hello @Mack Carr and welcome to the Atlassian Community! Yes, Both Jira Software and Jira Service Desk have extensive REST APIs. Take a look here: Server: https://developer.atlassian.com/server/jira/platform/rest-apis/ Cloud:…

Hi @Shelley_Smith-Woods and @Veronica Kolstad! Just making sure you were aware of this meeting - hope to meet you there if not before! https://aug.atlassian.com/events/details/atlassian-houston-presents-automation-in-jira-and-lucidchart-diagramming/

It will show you any fields that are included on the "Create" screen for that issuetype. The fields can belong to either tab.

@Shelley_Smith-Woodsand @Veronica Kolstad- if you contact @Celina Zamora, she'll give you my contact info. That might work better for coordinating a time/place. ~~Larry

Hello @Senthilkumar, My company uses the tabs on a Jira issue to group fields used by people in different roles who may interact with the issue. For instance, our license specialist may use fields unique to her tasks so those are grouped on a "license" tab. The project scheduler may use fields unique to her tasks so those…

Hello @Vinuka Kodituwakkuand welcome to the community! I suspect the git agent software is not installed on your computer. If it's not, here's a tutorial on installing git from Atlassian that might be helpful: https://www.atlassian.com/git/tutorials/install-git I hope this resolves your problem and if so, please don't…

Had one of those myself @Matt Doar - hours and hours of fun!!

Hi @Shelley_Smith-Woods (and you too @Veronica Kolstad) I'm back in Houston this week (14-16th) and would very much enjoy meeting either or both of you tomorrow evening if you're free. I'm downtown so I can go any direction pretty easily. Let me know if you're up for a beverage and/or dinner!

Woohoo - new gear for mountain biking! Had a great New Years day outing even tough it was wet, in the low 40's, and we were freezing cold.... :-)

Hi @Robbie - please don't forget to click on one or both of the "Accept Answer" buttons for Bastian and Carlos' answers so others see the flag in their search results. Thanks!

Congratulations @Andy - PTC Redundant on that eventual "done done!" Might have taken a record-setting length of time but didn't clicking that close button bring a great sense of accomplishment? Cheers!

That's great to know @Ashley Freeman - thanks for the update!
