  • Thanks for the mention, @Alex Christensen! We currently have monthly Trello events planned for Arlington. We are also putting together plans for other events in Fort Worth and throughout the DFW. If you would like to see an event for your city please let us know.

I couldn't put my work boards up due to confidential material, so I went with my next big thing. This is just one of a dozen current boards I use.”…

  • Howdy. My name is Jonny Adams and I co-lead the DFW Trello User Group along with @Michael Wolfe. I am the project manager and applications administrator at Thursby Software Systems in South Arlington. At work I have a project management board to help me organize my project tasks. I also have a board to help keep our…
  • @[deleted] I believe tickets generated by customers in JSD use the default time zone which is the time zone that is set by the admin. I have not tested against a logged in user with a different time zone set. I assume (though I shouldn't) that the automation runs as an admin and converts to the default time zone.
  • @Tuqa Youssef Danny's idea for putting a notification in the portal banner is a great solution. If you want to setup an additional Automation then go to your JSD project, select Automation, click Add rule, and choose "Set customer expectations". Click on the "If" column, Add condition "issue matches", add, and click…
  • My faraway takeaway was that bitbucket and confluence improvements including customer portal customizations are on the way to server. Plus, Trello User Groups are kicking off around the globe.
  • @Alicia Pino I think you could tackle this from either direction by just using labels (tags). If you go with having spaces for departments then just make sure that documents for platform A are labeled as platform A in each department. That way users can quickly search based on labels. Here is a Confluence article on labels.
  • @Moss Drake Go to your board, click on the board dropdown menu and choose configure, click on "issue detail view" at the bottom of the column on the left, in the people field choose "Votes", and hit add. Now go back to your board, click on an issue, and you should see the vote option in the detail view.
  • @timhoustontx Critical fixes are pretty rare in my experience with this team. We alpha test, then expand our in-house beta, and finally roll a beta out to a team within our customer base before moving a build to production. It isn't in our workflow, but I believe in a case where a critical bug fix is needed we simply…
  • Pretty excited about some of the improvements coming to server instances of Bitbucket and Jira Service Desk including that the customer portal customizations that are currently available on cloud are coming to server. Also, excited about the Trello User Groups announcement, too!
  • @John Crafton Anonymous Access to the JSD portal on server isn't a feature, but is currently a suggestion here https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-1030 If this issue describes what you are looking for then I recommend adding a vote and a comment on that page. There is an Atlassian Marketplace Add-on that may work…
  • @Andreas Tsitouras, is this an Atlassian Marketplace app? If so, can you post a link to the marketplace app you are using?
  • You could mute the channel. Select the channel, click on Settings (gear) next to the search bar, choose notifications preferences..., and choose what you want to see.
  • @Andreas Tsitouras Are you a Slack admin? If so, click on the dropdown arrow in the upper left corner of your Slack chat window, hover over 'Administration', and select 'Manage Apps'. A browser window will open. Select Jira alerts and you should be able to edit your configuration there.
  • I believe you would be safe using Jira Rest API with your app. If you are using Jira Service Desk then you can configure it so that emails from anyone create support tickets which are essentially Jira issues.
  • Are you talking about an Atlassian Marketplace Add on? Some add ons will create a user which you could specify in the desired project and allow that "user" to create issues. You might find this workaround useful.
  • Looking forward to spreading the gospel of Trello to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, @cassieACE @Monique vdB, will there be a Trello User Group Leader badge?
  • @Michael Sayers Not only do they need to be a user with application access and the ability to login normally, they also must have the create issue permission.
  • I don't think it is possible or at least I haven't found a way to move/remove Blank Page.
  • @Emily Errico You can specify which templates appear by using space blueprints. Just go to Space Tools>Content Tools>Templates and enable/disable/promote/unpromote all of your templates there.
  • @Lukas Gonzalez You would create a new page at the same level as all other pages under customer. The title of that page would be "KFC" and you could populate it anyway that you desire. Restrict this page to be viewable by KFC group members only. Next, you would take all of the pages that correspond to "KFC" and Move them…
  • @Lukas Gonzalez if you want to avoid restricting individual pages you could create branches just below the "customers" page with pages for individual customers. Once those pages are in place you could move all associated pages under the appropriate branch and restrict at the secondary branch as apposed to all of the…
  • @Lynne Posner when the due date check box on a card has been checked as done then the card summary will display with a strike through it on the calendar view.
  • @Aleksey Shchukin Is there something specific you are wanting to accomplish with Jira and Slack? This add-on is pretty handy in my experience, but you may want to search the Atlassian Marketplace for other Slack integrations if this doesn't suite your need.
  • @[deleted] It appears that you are wanting to have mirrored cards across different boards. It will require a power up. Please see this page for details.
  • I could be totally wrong here, but I believe that active sprints that display above the backlog on the backlog board inherit the configuration from the sprint board. I've run a quick test on my test server instance and that is what I have observed. In my experience, unmapping removes a status from view on both boards.
  • @Anida Softic You can move the Closed status to Unmapped if you do not want issues to appear on your sprint board at all once they are Closed. Alternatively, you can create a "Quick Filter" on your board and give it a JQL query that excludes the Closed status. Then you can just click the quick filter of/on while you view…
  • Great list. Hadn't heard of most of these. Just added Blood Rage to my shopping list. Thanks!
  • I love Pandemic. Takes a lot of focus, but such a great coop game.
