Hi @Jessica Kizmann , TBH I haven´t ever tried this way of creating issues. As the field seems to be a multi-select field and from what I can see from this documentation a multi-select field takes an array of strings or the id of the value. Could you please give it a shot wether this solves the problem? Best Stefan

AAAAAWESOOOME!!!! 🎉🎉🎉

Hi @Raphael I´m afraid this is not possible with native jira workflow functionality (thinking of the validator function). In case you have scriptrunner in place you could script a custom validator in your workflow. Best Stefan

Hi @Nipuna Madushanka regarding your description I assume you are working in a team-managed project. Furthermore I get the requirement as follows: - when the field "Story point estimate" of a subtask changes - then the rule should sum "Story point estimate" of all subtasks within the same parent which are not done - and…

I´m afraid I don´t have any further ideas here :-/ Best Stefan

haha....mkay but as far as I understood the description in the link it should be possible to choose the just fill in the value but not as an object. did you try: { "fields": { "customfield_xxx": "Abcde" } } } Best Stefan

I see. As far as I could understand in a short research custom fields created by apps could behave a bit different than native jira custom fields. Unfortunately I can´t test this in my site. Here is a link I found that might provide a feasible solution. I would suggest to give it a shot:…

Hi @Yatish Madhav in order to have a better overview and analyze the problem could you please share a screentshot of your whole automation rule? furthermore: What type of field is the requested field? single select? Is "Abcde" configured as an option in your custom field? Furthermore I would suggest to define the field…

Hi @Mélanie Liguet , I would consider myself a novice on API and I‘m not familiar with the tempo timesheet api. Just did a research in the api docu. according to the following link: https://apidocs.tempo.io/v4/#tag/Worklogs try to use {{webResponse.body.results.tempoWorklogId}} Best Stefan
-
Hi @Joshua Tilton could you please show the whole automation rule? Are you sure the fixVersion is set in the issue ? I can reproduce this when there is no unreleased fix version. Best Stefan
-
Hi @Mila Boshnakova need to assume that I haven´t ever seen zapier but would like to try to find a solution: As far as I got from the zapier site/docu so far you would need to configure a "catch hook" trigger first. This will provide an URL --> that´s (let´s say) the "destination adress". see the following video describing…

Hi @[deleted] any update? Best Stefan

Awesome. Great to know you got that working. In order to mark this question as completed could you please either mark any of the given answers as accepted or write an answer by your own pointing out the solution and accept this one? Best Stefan
-
Hi @Rita Arellano First of all: Is there any info in the audit log? Could you please share a screenshot of its output? Furthermore: Is the issue that is created of issue type sub-task or a custom standard issue type called „sub-task“? I‘m asking this because of the linking action. A subtask issue type is automatically a…

Hi @Adam Rivera My first guess without knowing the details would be that it’s a single project rule. In lrder to process in other projects than the one the rule was triggered the rule needs to be configured as a multi-project or gloabl rule. This can be done in the rule details. Best Stefan

Hi @Matias Burni and welcome to the community, what exactly do you mean by "transferred"? There is a "Move" action in jira that "physically" moves data of an issue from one project to another one. Have the issues you mentioned been moved? Best Stefan
-
awesome! happy to know you got that working 🙌🏼🙌🏼
-
Hi @Sari , if I got your requirement correctly your are struggling with the link option in the slack message. This should be possible via smart values. Try to use the following in your slack message: {{issue.url}} Please let me know if this was helpful and solves your problem. Best Stefan

Have to appologize but can´t follow. What exactly wouldn´t they be able to do?

@__ Jimi Wikman why would this prevent them? you could just add a custom board to any project, even several boards covering different projects. especially in this case you could have (as described in one of the posts above) the general project and the team lead projects. So each team lead only has to configure his board…
-
Hi @Nofar Ben Kereth according to your description I would rather suggest with boards. As boards are (simply said) just views based on a the team leads could have a seperate board in their own project that covers several projects. This would avoid duplicate/multiply data in your system and keep your system clean. Best…

Hi @Alejandro Blanco Wow.....Awesome effort! Thanks for sharing your solution in such a detailed way so that other community users can benefit from it. Best Stefan

Hi @Mashiur Rahman could you please further specify your use case? When exactly would you like to send a notification? What should the email adress be notified about? Could you show where your subtasks were created? Best Stefan
-
Hi @maurício heberle , did you also add the log action from point 4 in the docu: Add a log action within the branch to make sure we get the desired results: List of application: {{object."Application access".Key.asJsonObject("value")}},{{"Application List".Key.asJsonObject("value")}} object to be edited: {{object.id}} Is…

One question: in your initial post you mentioned you want to get „your own issues“ - how could you own issues when u are not associated with/have a user in a jira instance? Best Stefan
-
Hi @Alejandro Blanco this seems similar to a question I answered in the past. Please see my answer in the link below: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Service-Management/Move-cloned-issues-to-top-of-the-backlog/qaq-p/2116786 Best Stefan

@gouris Your webhook needs to be configured to call the URL provided by the test tool. Could you show your webhook config again? personally i tested with https://webhook.site When opening the site it provides you with a listener url (see screenshot) that needs to be filled in the url field of your webhook: Best Stefan
-
So if it‘s a whole different site (which means the 2 instances have different domains) it‘s not possible with simple jira automation actions. If you are familiar with Rest API you I guess it would be possible. Best Stefan
-
Hi @Jesús Rafael Martínez Jiménez just to clarify that we are on the same page: with „in another account“ you mean create an issue „in the name of another user“ within the same jira instance/site? Best Stefan
-
Hi @maurício heberle , could you show your automation rule/your api call? Best Stefan
