Hi @Raju Mandapaka I found the following article covering exactly this topic: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-articles/Automation-Set-your-Advanced-Roadmaps-Team-automatically-when/ba-p/1761588 As it seems the field can only be set with the ID of the team (not the name). I have no idea how to get the teams ID via…

@Raju Mandapaka I would even suggest to skip the step of creating a variable as this step is not needed. As you are acting in the same issue you could always refer to the {{issue}} context. In my screenshot: * customfield_10093 is a text field * {{issue.Stages}} is a dropdown --> by adding .value it takes the currently…

{ "fields": { "customfield_10001": "{{a}}" } }

Hi @Raju Mandapaka did you try to just use {{a}} ? Furthermore: Is there a special need for the ID? Haven‘t seen that before. Best Stefan

Hi @Beat Gurtner was that helpful? can‘t find any answer below. Best Stefan

Hi @Beat Gurtner I could manage to calculate average with regard of amount of fields that are filled with setting variables. My automation rule looks as follows: First I set a variable with the sum of all field´s values (that´s silmiar to your first part): Then I create a variable for the amount of fields that are not…

Hi @Hiep Vu Hoang As test execution (in xray context) is handled as standard jira issue using the Jira API would be your choice if you´d like to first create the issue itself (as a container) and then afterwards using the xray api to import results in this execution. Personally I´m using this way in a github pipeline I…
-
Hi @Hiep Vu Hoang could you describe in more details what and how you are trying to import? In general it‘s possible to import eg. results of several test automation frameworks. Best Stefan

AWESOME! I´m happy we could find the right solution. Thanks for your feedback. Best Stefan

Hi @Javanshir Mustafayev _ HIT Are those infos from alertmanager sent via API? If so this could be done directly with jira. Alertmanager will send an API call to Jira that an automation rule could grab via a "incoming webhook" trigger and create a ticket automatically. see webhook trigger docu below:…

Hi @Kalee Williams , Thanks so much. It‘s a whole big learning journey here for everybody. That‘s one thing I love most about this community. Hmmm....for sure one of the most fascinating trips was Fontainbleau. Nevertheless I travel to Zillertal severa times a year and each of those trips is a blast. Zillerta feels like a…

Hi @Javanshir Mustafayev _ HIT one question that comes to my mind is: How do messages appear in slack:m/ where do they come from? Is it needed to go from 1 system to slack and then from slack to jira? Or could data grabbed from the same system? Best Stefan
-
Awesome. Good to know your problem is solved and thanks for the feedback ;)

Hi @Chasovskikh Kirill as you put the variable into the branch it only „exists“ within the scope of the branch. I would recommend to replace the branch with a lookupIssues action. This would also filter the requested issue by JQL and you could then use the smart value {{lookupIssues}} to use directly in your trigger issue…

Hi @Sue Wilson I would recommend to reach out to vendor support directly with this issue. It seems this is more a technical question as I don´t know of any setting/configuration that would manipulate the testRunAssignee. https://jira.getxray.app/servicedesk/customer/portal/2/user/login?destination=portal%2F2 Best Stefan

To be honest I´m not a developer. I can handle easy api calls as described in the documentation. So adding attachment via curl (as described above) worked in my system. What I could find in the community was the following post. The question from Radek on 11.02. might cover your problem:…
-
Hi @Prajwal Ashok Nagrale This is an example how an attachment can be added via curl api call: curl --location --request POST 'https://your-domain.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/issue/TEST-123/attachments' -u 'email@example.com:<api_token>' -H 'X-Atlassian-Token: no-check' --form 'file=@"myfile.txt"' see detailed documentation…

Hi @Sagi Gueta , did this work before and is now a different behaviour? In general there has been a free version of this addon with a limited functionality and a paid license version with full functionality. From the screenshot it looks like it‘s the free (limited) version. Best Stefan

Hi @Scott Bauer -- welcome the community, there was a similar question like this some time a go. As far as I remember the solution was to use \n instead off \\ as newLine character in your payload. As far as I understood it correctly and my little API skills are sufficient I tried to update a description field of a bug in…

Hi @Hiep Vu Hoang and welcome to the community, there was a similar post lately: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Marketplace-Apps-Integrations/Xray-throw-error-message-quot-Authorization-request-has-expired/qaq-p/2169619#U2184114 Could you create a test environment in the meantime? Or does this issue/error still occur?…

Hi everyone, My name is Stefan and I am located in Vienna, Austria. I work as a selfemployed consultant for Atlassian Toolchain (mainly Jira in the software development area, Integration of/with Plugins, Process Automation) as well as guiding teams and companies in agile transformation (mainly software development area).…

Hi @Prajwal Ashok Nagrale I do not know any engine of SN. I can just reflect the issue from Jira perspective. So which endpoint of the jira API are you calling? How do you determine the issue key where the attachment should be added? Best Stefan
-
In order to be able to analyse the problem the community please add some deeper insight and details. Without knowing how your integration/calls look like, where are they triggered, how is api call sent, etc... the community could just do guesses. Best Stefan
-
Hi @Prajwal kumar R -- welcome to the community, according to the documentation the query parameter "testExecKey" should do the work. try the following call: curl -H "Content-Type: multipart/form-data" -u username:Password -F "file=@testng-results.xml"…

Hi @Alok.Nanda — welcome to the community, is this problem still occuring or could this be solves meanwhile? Best Stefan
-
Hi @Shankar Rajappa - welcome to the community, could you please explain your requirement from a functional perspective/use case scenario? To know the whole problem would help the community to better understand and find a feasible solution. Best Stefan
-
Hi @Dmitry it seems kinda „special“ that the change doesn‘t even occur in the issue‘s history. As this is a specific change by an app and not „native“ jira i would recommend to reach out to vendor‘s support to clarify how fields are changed (technically) and why those events are not fetched by the jira engine. Best Stefan

@Trudy P Claspill That‘s one fact I love most about the community: The longer I am part of it the more I learn. I feel honored I could share something new and helpful. Thanks for your feedback. Best Stefan

Hi @[deleted] Is it a MUST that it needs to be done with scriptrunner? Jira cloud provides Automation for Jira out of the box and this is a very simple task that could also be implemented with A4J without any need of scripting. Furthermore: Are the linked issues within the same project than the trigger-issue? Best Stefan
-
Hi @Brian Ward If I got your requirement right you´d like to my manually triggered rule an epic is created with 4 tasks as child (tasks have epic link to newly created epic). I tested the following rule in my system and as far as I understood the requirement correctly it does the work: detailled specification of my rule: *…
