Hi @Zakhar Yermakovich - welcome to the community, Do you have admin permission in your system? The settings for API client & secret need to be set in admin section of the site. Click the coq icon in the upper right corner and select "Apps". This will lead you into the admin console where apps/plugins are managed. In the…

Hi @Sreeraj C what exactly does "published" mean in your case? Do you have a special workflow for test issue type? If so: Could you show/describe the workflow? In case the "Published" is a workflow status it might be possible there is set a workflow property that denies/avoids editting an issue in a special status or…

Hi @M_K_ - welcome to the community, it´s possible with calling a "send webrequest" action within your automation rule that will then calls the GraphQL-API of XRAY. There is a method to either addTestsToTestSet (see the link below): https://xray.cloud.getxray.app/doc/graphql/addteststotestset.doc.html Best Stefan

Hi @Georgia Beckers Could you please also provide a screenshot of your automation rule and your comment action? I tested in my syxstem with a userPicker custom field and it worked correctly. Furthermore: Could you add a log action that simply prints the change log {{changelog}}? This should give information about details…

Hi @Jim Dwyer - welcome to the community, as far as I know it‘s not possible out of the box as there is no trigger for that event. Which git provider are you using? I would suggest to lookup the provider‘s docu for webhooks. Maybe there is a way to send a webhook on this event that can then be fetched by an automation…

Hi @ליאור בראודה thanks for your feedback. Great to know you got an idea. Curiously looking forward to your solution. Best Stefan

Hi @ליאור בראודה A button in the menu isn´t a real inidicator of your installation. I don´t see an xray button in my system either but xray is installed and I´m using it. Still questions are not answered yet: * do you have admin permission? * did you check the installation in the administration console under "Manage apps"?…

Hi @Bérengère PERES How exactly does your hierarchy define parent and child? Are you using advanced roadmaps? What does your use case look like that needs to be solved? Best Stefan

Hi @Nitish - welcome to the community, the "Test Run List" gadget fullfill your requirement. You could choose the test run assignee in the dashboard config: Best Stefan

Hi @ליאור בראודה In your original post you wrote: did not add a dropdown menu in the general top menu Where exactly would you expect to occur any menu item? could you send a screenshot of your test instance what it should look like? Please also answer questions from one of the previous posts: Where exactly did you expect…

Hi @Anne Hietala - welcome to the community in fact it´s not possible at all as the test plan is for planning container of your "test phase" (kind of). So it lists all test cases (which are let´s say "templates" for executions) that will/were run within this planned phase. Furthermore I would recommend to organize your…

Hi @ליאור בראודה I see all versions of all hosting types here: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1211769/xray-test-management-for-jira/version-history Could you guide me how to get to the version you mentioned or post the link here? One further question: Where exactly did you expect xray-button to appear? did you…

Hi @Erantha Welikala in order to help finding an appropriate solution it would be helpful for the community to know more details. Could you please provide a whole description of what you did exactly? How did you import test result files? Did you import them into an existing test execution? Best Stefan

Hi @ליאור בראודה I´m kinda curious bc I can´t find a version 6.4.0 in the market place. Could you maybe provide a link? Furthermore: regarding to the release notes of 6.4.1 on xray website it points out there was a blocker issue in 6.4.0: https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAY/Xray+6.4.1+Release+Notes…

Hi @ליאור בראודה to wrap this up: the test instance was set up first with exactly the same versions and files. in the test system it worked fine and after installing the same setting (versions/files) in a production environment (which is also configured exactly as the test environment) it doesn‘t work anymore? Best Stefan

Hi @Vrajesh Dave one of the links leads to the Tesplan Metrics which provide Test success rate in the report. As you organize your test cases in testplans this should be possible with the mentioned link. In case I got something wrong with your requirement please appologize. May I kindly ask then for further specification…

Hi @Vrajesh Dave - welcome to the community Do you organize your test cases/test phases with TestPlans? This would give you the possibility to automativally get metrics for testcases in your test plan: https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAYCLOUD/Test+Plans+Metrics+Report Please also see the following link to get an overview…

Hi @ליאור בראודה Was this a fresh installation or an upgrade? What is your installation file called? Could you send names/screenshots? Where did you download the file? Please double check if you chose the correct file as there are different downloads for Server & DC and even for Jira major version (8 & 9) --> see…

Hi @Pål Skiftun Athammer could you describe your use case in more details? especially: why would it be necessary to execute 1 and the same test case 8 times? Best Stefan
-
Hi @david catriel , yeah that‘s the timing issue I mentioned. The new parent is not detected at that time therefore the components of the old prent gets copied. I could reproduce this behaviour and the workaround with slowing down the automation rule with some re-fetch actions worked in my system. Nevertheless guess it…
-
Hi @Bhuvnesh Ecomm Could you describe how you do the re-run? As far as I know a TC can only be "really" executed once within a test execution. It also makes sense from my point of view as a test execution is related to a dedicated setting/version/configuration. As soon as you change a config/version the test execution…
-
Hi @david catriel * smart values are case sensitive. Try {{issue.parent.Components}} * you could also use the option "Copy from parent" for the field to be changed in your edit issue action --> see screenshot below * However: both of the above mentioned options might not always work correctly as this could be a timing…

@Ajay Taneja ok. referring to your screenshots this differs from what I understood from your previous requirement: How did tests behave over a timespan. The screenshots don´t show any timeline either. sololy a list of test and the amount of executions. That´s why I tried to thoroughly identify the specific requirement.…

Hi @Ashwin and welcome to the community, tbh I´m not familiar with importing cucumber result files. As far as I could see from the example file in the documentation there is a a property "duration" "result": { "status":<span> </span>"passed", "duration":<span> </span>11723000 }<br><br><br><br><br> Normally within a test…

Hi @Gabriela Padilla any feedback? It´s a pitty that there isn´t always an out of the box solution. In case your question was answered please consider to hit the accept button in order to mark the question as solved. This will make it easier for other users to find a propper solution if the are faced with the same/similar…

Hi @QAutomation As far as I could find in the documentation this is only possible with XRAY JSON format import. See the description in the link below: https://docs.getxray.app/display/XRAYCLOUD/Import+Execution+Results+-+REST#ImportExecutionResultsREST-XrayJSONresults Best Stefan

Hi @Bhuvnesh Ecomm and welcome to the community, as far as I got you right in xray speaking you mean „TestRuns“. (a test run is an instance of a test case that is generated when the test is executed) In order to provide a propper solution could you please describe your use case? What is the requirement behind? Where and…
