Hi @Katia Smiles Your board is filled with statuses using the board configuration screen. There, you can add columns and drag the respective statuses under the colored line. What @John Funk is referring to, is the internal definition of the statuses in Jira. During creation or editing of a status, you get to pick whether…

Hi @Denis Rousselle As the number of projects is high, I would suggest a cleanup of old projects first (archiving after switching to a "stopped workflow" with only a single status: Done). In a follow-up step you would need to migrate the remainder of projects to the workflow you want to end-up with by hand (no other way).…

Hello @AndreaV , welcome to the Atlassian Community You have two options: * Pay for the extra 40 * Perform active user management on a need-to-have basis, to stay below 50 users. I've got a similar issue as my user group nears the 1000 mark. I know your pain. I hope this helps mitigate your woes a bit, Dick By voting for…

Hi @Maureen Wang I'm glad you even managed to put very useful information in the custom field. Even better than the status I suggested! Glad this was useful. Let's tell it to the world by marking the answer! Dick By voting for helpful posts and marking answers to your question, you're helping people with similar questions…

Hi @Dimitrios Skouras, Welcome to the Atlassian Community you are best served by starting a plan (used to be called roadmap). In this plan you can gather all the data of more than one project and have a Gantt-chart to see a proper timeline. Individual sections of a project (ie. epics) can be selected, their statuses and…

You can go top-down from issuetype screen scheme forth. Start by opening Project Settings, then select Screens. It tells you the name of the Issuetype screen scheme inside t;he blue rectangle. This holds the screen schemes for all the issuetypes. Opening those, you see the (defaults for the ) screens for each operation.…

Hi @Maureen Wang , welcome to the Atlassian Community A solution to your query would be to have a custom field in Jira that holds the status of the deployment for a certain issue. Check for non-deployed prior to sending the notification. If it already was deployed, then withhold sending the notification. Hope this helps…

Hi @Marina Culeasca Welcome to the Atlassian Community, you would be best served by using an automation to find issues with a couple of prerequisites: * The triggerissue should be of issuetype story * Linked issues field should be filled with is blocked by * the Issuetype of the linked issues should be bug The linked…

Hi @Nahuel Logghe , Reading your response, I take it you were helped by my answer? You can navigate the three screen-defining windows by clicking on either a parent scheme or by opening up the bottom half of the screen definition and descend to a child screen (when applicable). I suggest you have a clear naming convention…
-
Hi @Nahuel Logghe welcome. There's actually three levels of screen definitions which all have to be fulfilled: * Fields are put on a Screen * Screens are mapped to issue operations (edit, create, view) by Screen Scheme * Screen schemes are mapped to issue types in the Issue Type Screen Scheme The latter is linked to your…

Besides the aforementioned screen schemes, you need the field to be visible for the user. All users can filter out fields they're not interested in. So you might want to check that too.

see above, (made a post error).

Hi Carina, I think I'm missing something in the addressee field: {{#lookupIssues}}{{assignee.emailaddress}}{{/}} it's where you tell Jira to get the assignee from the array of tickets!

Hi @mdeloreto I'm curious to your solution/fix, as may be others. Sincerely, Dick By voting for helpful posts and marking answers to your question, you're helping people with similar questions find a solution more quickly. Sharing is caring applies to knowledge as well :)

Hi Carina, Could it be that one of your tickets does not have an assignee, by chance ?
-
@Somnath Raveenthiran Could you at least post your findings, it might help others with similar questions. Sharing is Caring. :)

Hi Carina, Thank you for responding. Your query has only AND statements between the expressions. This means that the issues found would have to meet ALL the expressions. so, issues in Project 10000 and with a duedate within 5 days, and have label Kontroll and have status done There are no issues found, says your error…
-
Hi @Somnath Raveenthiran As I suspect that you would like to paste something meaningful in the organisations field (not just a copy of the assignee), I would recommend using Automation for Jira to serve your needs. I hope this helps, Dick By voting for helpful posts and marking answers to your question, you're helping…

Hi @Carina Gungner , welcome to the Atlassian Community From the error message one can deduce that there is no issue to get the assignee. Could you post your automation script so we can determine the cause behind this? Thank you in advance for helping us help you, Dick By voting for helpful posts and marking answers to…

Hi @Bharadwaj Jannu , welcome to the Atlassian Community! ad 1: I recommend keeping your cloud instance as small as possible. Retain the 2012-2020 data in a separate datacenter Jira instance with minimized user count. If people want to search the old content, give them an account for the datacenter Jira. This way: * You…

Google Translation: Previously, I was able to add borders to images, but I just noticed that the option to set a border is now missing. Also, for my previous question, where the description block contained an image with a border, if I clicked edit description, the entire block would appear blank. However, for the issue…

Hi @Rebecca Sperry Once you get past the initial numbers (say, beyond 20), the neatness of your list will homogenize into a sturdy list of Jira-items, not the XYZ-1, XYZ-2, XYZ-3, XYZ-4 line of thought in your master plan to guide your project to success. It'll grow on you, honestly Keep it up, Dick By voting for helpful…

Hi @bruno_bobichonwelcome to the Atlassian Community If you make an Epic in the CN project, it can hold Jira-items from the other two projects: ie. Epic = CN-123 if team OC does work on this epic in ticket OC-23, they paste the value CN-123 in the parent link field. Similar to team TUR. Issue TUR-56 can hold value CN-123…

Hi Muddada, You really need help from your system administrator, as he/her can look into the server computer and set the permissions correctly for the attachement folder. This is not related to within-Jira configuration. There is something incorrect in the operating system that runs underneath Jira. Hope you can find your…

Hi Andrei, I'm really glad you were helped here. It was a tricky one. Thank you for marking the answer, it makes it easier for other people to find a solution if they are facing similar questions.

Hi George, In block 4 you create a variable named : Epic In the fifth block you use the variable name; newEpic These names should be the same. I hope this helps, Dick By voting for helpful posts and marking answers to your question, you're helping people with similar questions find a solution more quickly. Sharing is…

Hi Mohamed, In addition to my "solution" you could let: * The Creator enter a value in one of the priority slots (thus giving a ticket a priority) * The Agent is allowed to move a slot value (= ticket name) to a new, empty priority slot (checked by a lookup items list that needs to have zero entries), thus effectively…

Hi @Muddada Sunil Kumar - Vendor , welcome to this fine Community. The error you posted is likely the result of insufficient write permissions in the attachments folder. This is something your system administrator could help you with. I hope this helps, Dick By voting for helpful posts and marking answers to your question,…

One solution would be to create the slots as custom fields that can hold a string. When a slot is in use by a ticket, it would be filled with the issue key of the Jira-item that is worked on. Name: Priority 1 slot Value: PROJECT-33 You could write an on-value-change triggered automation on field Priority 1 slot. You can…
-
Ah, if I understand correctly, you want to create some priority slots that each can "hold" a single ticket. That ticket needs to be resolved prior to having another ticket assigned to that priority slot ? Please confirm my assumption or correct me if I'm mistaken.
