If the option to hide the done issues is not available, you are indeed using scrum. In that case you have to click the edit filter query link on that configuration page and see if there are other restraining filters active from within your search query that you use to fill the board with issues.

Even the "blanc project" can have a Kanban board. Boards are just the pair of glasses you put on to look at your project. You can have multiple pairs of glasses (so multiple boards) in one project. Here's what the configuration looks like. The bottom row displays the extra filter with the value of two weeks.

And the good thing is, Max: If it's really a Kanban board you're using, you can press the Release button and make a release. This action bundles all the done issues together. You can then select a number of graphs and lists under Reports (left on main screen), to see what issues you've tackled with your team in that…

Hi @Max Drougge , Jira doesn't delete stuff, but things in the "done" column on a Kanban board under standard setup, get filtered out after two weeks. This behavior of the board can be configured. Top right on your board, you find a Board dropdown. Choose: Configure On the next screen you select General, and there you can…

Hi @Max Drougge Welcome to the Atlassian Community Can you please verify the deletion by searching for the disappearing issue first: In the Issues menu, you can search for issues. Please use the below JQL. project = YourProjectName and status = Done Happy to hear from you soon, Dick

Ah, understood. Thanks for setting me straight in such kind manner :)

Thank you Stephen, for sharing your approaches. That must've been quite the learning curve when you joined the company. At least you were thrown off the deep end in stead of under a bus. You managed to float! And from the top part of your response I have a solid impression, it sure triggered ideas to make things better…

As not to mess-up the question: We were two teams that hardly knew one-another. We were tasked to clear small trees from a stretch of heather in the nearby national park. The physical work demanded teamwork to get the job done. We started with the small stuff, but in the end, we were taking on the bigger trees. This joint…

Hi @Morgan Hall , Welcome to the Atlassian Community Contact between Google Sheets and Jira will go through API (under the hood). If your API call is not using credentials that are known to Jira, no data will be displayed. You only get what the account may see. Dick By voting for helpful posts and marking answers to your…

Hi @Jibitesh Chakraborty , welcome to the Atlassian Community I'm not sure if your modification can be done in Jira-Cloud. You do know that the presence of this button depends on being admin or user within Jira? Hope this helps Dick By voting for helpful posts and marking answers to your question, you're helping people…

Hi @杨大树 , Welcome to the Atlassian Community CurrentUser() is always the person logged into the windows machine that has the open browser with Jira in it. You can edit a workflow's status transitions by clicking on the arrows between statuses and modifying this step (ie by adding post-functions that are executed after the…

Hello @Cory Cai , I'm not sure what you're calling "web-links". There is a Jira functionality that is called web-hooks. The latter can be used to automatically send data to another program, so I'm not sure if that's what you mean. The link you refer to is about how to retrieve Jira Issues that are linked using the field…

This is by using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, but could be used in any database program (ie. DBeaver ). The trick is to connect to the database in the cloud. Hope someone can help here, getting you connected Dick
-
Hi @Cory Cai , welcome to the Atlassian Community! We're here to help, but a bit more information about your request would be beneficial to finding an answer to your question. Hope to hear about your problem a bit more, Dick
-
Hi @Jamshaid , I've read your updated question three times. I think your logic would have to address an occurring change to the original ticket in the master project. You can do so by using the change history to access the previous and current value, then determine if action (creation of a ticket in the slave project) is…

"Plans" comes with your Jira. Your admin can give you permission to use it (either as a viewer or editor). Dick
-
Either which way you're achieving the instant feedback upon change, I would definitively advise you to contact your admin about your needs, as you are putting a bit more strain on the system (always handy to keep your admin happy :) ). Dick

Hi @Eran Roiter, I'm not sure if this can work for you because you are using Jira Cloud (I'm on DataCenter). use JIRADB -- your Jira databasename SELECT ji.ISSUENUM , ji.ASSIGNEE, concat(concat('"', ji.SUMMARY),'"') AS "Summary" , it.PNAME AS "IssueType", st.PNAME AS "Status", ji.RESOLUTIONDATE FROM JIRAISSUE ji LEFT JOIN…

Hi @Jamshaid from the log, I conclude that the foreach loop only is run for the log action. The condition check is only run once. Shouldn't your logs contain as much condition checks as there are entries in the relatedCT variable?
-
As @Humashankar VJ indicates: tag the issue once: * its parent link is set to an issue of type ProgramEpic But you need to give your users a complete solution, so deal with: * moving an epic between ProgramEpics (nothing should happen!) * removing an epic from a ProgramEpic (label should be cleared) You might also want to…

To assess the duplicates: do you see a double round of statements in the automation log?
-
Hi @Jamshaid I think the text under the advanced branch inlay in your picture tells you not to split the stuff as it is carried out for each value in the list. And for clarity, can you whip up the definition of relatedCT as well ? Thanks for clarifying your problem, Dick
-
Hi @Andreas Stoffel, Welcome to the Atlassian Community! Sometimes, a problem is best approached from a different angle. You can turn your question around by tagging issues that have a parent link to your known ProgramEpics. 'parent link' in (ProgramEpic1, ProgramEpic2, ...) Hope this finds you all your important…
-
Hi @Jamshaid There seems a bit of a mismatch of variables in your automation. {{relatedCT}} is defined, yet {{customCT}} is used (twice). As the latter is undefined, it yields a null object that never triggers your conditionals. Hope your automation will at least run after this, Dick

Hi @Lokesh Reddy, welcome to the Atlassian Community! Could you please specify what goes wrong in the email notification? It helps the good Samaritans of this community to give you a proper answer to your query. Hope you find the time to formulate what's going on at your end, Dick By voting for helpful posts and marking…

Hi @balajiar, The why behind the interval length is a mystery to me. That's why I was trying to steer you to the place where it might be defined, so you can edit it. Hope you can squeeze the waiting period this way, Dick
-
Hi @Cem Tuğrul There's a different way to approach your problem (a way without counting). you can use string manipulations on the value stored in your custom field. As you can search for a designated character in a string such as the mandatory comma, you can split the string into chunks of string that are in fact the names…

Thank you @Bill Sheboy for clarifying. I'm happy to see that it acts the same as in the Google search bar. (only need to remember a single syntax) For @Rasa the usage of the quotes would depend on her needs. (exact match: use quotes, fuzzy match: do not use quotes). It all comes together happily, Dick
-
Günaidin, @Cem Tuğrul By having A as a text field, you can receive a multitude of values. It also means, you need to define how you want to discern the difference in values: For example: * Is "a" the same as "A" ? (upper/lower case) * Is "ü" the same as "u" ? (diacritic markings) * Is "a" the same as "a " (trailing space)…

Hi @kanad.kumar It's good that you've found your way to the Community.
