Hi, Not a 100% sure but I'd sayt it's not possible. The documentation is stating that you should typically used one email address per project (https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver073/creating-issues-and-comments-from-email-861253784.html). I've never seen a context where email is used for multiple projects…

Hi Hannah, Seems like the file size exceed file size limit or disk space is full. If you are a Jira Administrator of your instance, you can check this piece of documentation to check and eventually change the attachments max…

Hi Jonathan, There's an Atlassian KB Article about that here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-disable-the-notification-for-requests-shared-to-the-organization-881657657.html Basically, in the Customer Notifications from Service Desk there's an "Organization added" event which triggers the notification. You…

Hi Ruslan, The Service Desk view for customer is loading the screenshots based on file name I guess, you can see that even in Jira, the links to enlarge images seems not to work because all files are named the same. The preview rendered on client side is always retrieving the first screenshot matching the filename, that's…

Hi, I think I understood better now. Using native JQL might be hard to get to your expected result. If you use Script Runner, it's bringing advanced JQL functions which would help. You could write something like: NOT((type = Story and 'Epic Link' is not empty) OR issueFunction in epicsOf("type = Story and 'Epic Link' is…

Glad you found a solution to secure your data :)

Hi again Martin! After some researchs, it seems like the Custom Field Epic Link with a key should be enough. Make sure your script will then reindex the issue. That should do the trick, let me know if you try it, I'll probably give it a chance tomorrow through script runner :) Cheers
-
Hi, Did you try: (type = Subtask and "Epic Link" IS EMPTY) OR type = Story That should do the trick if I understood well? Cheers
-
Glad to hear it helped, will try and give you some input in the other thread! Cheers

Hey Kimberly! Good idea! Recently passed ACP100 and aiming more this year! In my case, I've had 5+ years of experience, some with Partners as Consultant, and it was obviously the main source of my knowledge. I've read Rachel Wright's book to comfort some ideas and networking with other experts have been a great addition as…

Hi Naama, I've recently passed the ACP100 and the main source of knowledge is obviously your experience. If you need to get more confidence, I'd advise you to check out the release notes frequently to get to know what's released and how it work. You might also want to read the documentation on topics you don't feel…

Hi Tayyab, I'm in the process of getting Agile + Service Desk after passing ACP 100 a few weeks ago. I'm an Expert with 5+ years of experience, 2 of them as a Partner consultant and I have to be honest and tell you it's very challenging but it's definitely worth it! That's, in my opinion, a great asset, especially now as…

Glad you’ve found it out! cheers

Good luck to rework on that! Feel free to mark this topic as answered so that others might have better visibility on your issue :) Have a great day!

Hi, I can see you bought a Server license which means your instance is self-hosted and therefore the license is independent from your users. You can connect to your Atlassian account with the paid license, copy the license and paste it in Jira directly. That should work! Hope this helps!

Hi alex, Usually when I had this kind of issue in the past it was linked with reindexing issue after update. Would you try to use the following class: https://docs.atlassian.com/jira/7.3.5/com/atlassian/jira/issue/index/IssueIndexingService.html#reIndex-com.atlassian.jira.issue.Issue- That should be something like:…

Yes it could happen that some people delete sprints but they should stop showing in issues as well! If the board have been changed (make sure it's not available anymore using the "..." icon on the project sidebar), the sprints are gone with it as well unfortunately. The reports are not available as the Sprint 2 is not yet…

Hi, Watchers on the Service Desk are held in a field called Request Participants. There's an Atlassian KB article regarding your precise needs: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-automatically-add-request-participants-when-creating-an-issue-777026955.html Both solutions require plugins, there are other ways…

Hi Vinit, I would suggest you to use a Date type field (Due date might be relevant if available) to flag the expected date. Then you can build a filter based on duedate such as: duedate >= now() Once the filter is saved you can subscribe (and other users as well if the filter is shared) to received an updated version of…

Hi Rebecca, Sprints are associated with boards and needs to be started by clicking a button in the backlog view to be considered as "Started". Can you please check if you have an active Sprint in the Backlog view of your board? (you'll have an "End Sprint" button if so). Please note that you'll need the "Manage Sprint"…

Misc WF is a great addition which will probably give you new perspectives! keep us posted!

Thanks @Andy Heinzer for the confirmation!

Hi, If you need to empower users and delegate group management to a set of selected users in Jira, I've recently published a plugin which might help! It's a brand new plugin so I'm really interested in feedback to give orientations to my roadmap! You can try it out here, I'll be more than happy to improve it to suit more…

Hi Daniel, There's an OSX version of Jira releases which is packaged for Macs. You can also use the zip or TAR archives to install manually. Even if it seems not to be documented well (I might be mistaken but I think Atlassian does not officially support OSX), it's working well on OSX! The detailed steps for TAR install…

Hi! You might to build a Quick Filter to filter out Done Epics. That would temporarily hide them from board and backlog. Once clicked, the filter will remain active for your profile! Would that work? Cheers

Good! This tutorial was really helpful for me as well as it's detailing many aspects of plugins concept (Active Objects, REST APIs...). The explanations are clear and well done, definitely a good start!
